Talgong is a 3rd generation red dirt farming property 25 mins drive from the Cairn in The Geographical Centre of NSW. Working sheep and cattle farm with seasonal cereal crops, and farm tours available on request. We are offering secluded camping areas for self-contained campers, in sheltered scrub protected from winter winds. Plenty of native wildlife to view, perfect for birdwatching with many parrot species in the area. Spring camping offers wildflower experience (most seasons except in extreme drought). There is ample firewood available for self-collection (no fires in summer fire ban season). Roads to here are dirt & occasionally maintained by the council, so whilst you can access the property with 2WD, care needs to be taken traveling. A seasonal note, 4WD access only due to flooding & flood damage roads. please contact us for current road access information No dogs. Also, strictly No Hunting permitted.
