You access Valley's Nest via a separate driveway and is your very own private retreat that perches above it all. Come and experience the beautiful sunrises and sunsets, wildlife and tranquility. If you're looking for adventure, Bare Rock offers world class rock-climbing and is a short walking distance from Valley's Nest. If mountain-biking is your thing, Derby is an hour away, and 50mins to St Helens. And the exquisite East Coast beaches are 30mins away. If it's rest and relaxation you're needing, we have you covered with stunning views from the cabin and fire-bath, reading materials and paints. The cabin itself has a cosy wood stove heater, and is furnished with a double bed with pillows and a queen-sized doona. There is an undercover outdoor small kitchen with a 2 burner gas stovetop, basic kitchenware (with hand-held coffee grinder and aeropress), sink, solar lighting and rechargeable camping lanterns. The toilet is a private eco-throne with a view to Bare Rock. It is composting and only a short walk from the cabin. We provide you with wood for the indoor wood stove, an esky, bed linen, towels, tea-towels, basic kitchenware, cooking basics and toilet paper. The kitchen sink and bath water comes from a spring fed dam, perfect for washing your dishes and bathing in. Please bring your own fresh drinking water. Please note this is rustic accommodation, the cabin doesn’t have 240v, only a solar powered charging port with USB-A/C inputs to recharge the camping lanterns and your devices. You may wish to bring head torches for night time reading and card games! There is no wifi available but there is strong mobile phone service. Fingal is fondly known by the locals as "the Valley", and hosts several coffee and food vans for travellers passing through. Fingal is located just 15 mins to local township St Marys, where you'll find IGA Supermarkets and the popular pub/restaurant St Marys Hotel. Also the gold-prospecting rivers of Mathinna and Mangana are both short drives away.

This is an organic farm, Lilydale Organic Vegetable Enterprises, better known as "LOVE". Bring your RV/motorhome, caravan or tent and visit! We offer mountain views in a quiet country setting. Our small farm offers a flat camping spot or place for your motor home with it's own access. We do have a toilet for campers and wifi also at the farmhouse. Hire a fire pit with your booking and we'll supply some wood. Washing machine by arrangement. The Lilydale Pool is open 3-6pm in summer and is 1km and free for showers. When you arrive with a big trailer enter through the WOODEN GATES and stay on the flat. Walk up and visit the farmhouse. Our cosy private tiny house/shack. It is close to beaches and a lagoon. The Bay of Fires is 40min north and Wineglass Bay/Freycinet National Park 1hr south. Relax night and day in a fire pit lounge area crafted with dry stone (large soft cushions included) plus an outdoor fire bath. A small separate shed houses a flushing toilet and gas hot water shower. The block has mains power; solar power and tank water. The block is surrounded by local endemic shrubs, trees and ground covers. We provide firewood, linen for the comfortable double bed, condiments for the fully equipped kitchen that includes crockery, cutlery, a fridge, a gas cooker, air fryer, sandwich toaster, camp oven, water etc. Just bring your clothes and food. The block is in a quiet coastal hamlet (with gravel roads and no street lights) ideal for beach and lagoon activities (surfing, walking, paddling, bird watching). Our 2 person sit on kayak is at the tidal lagoon 5 min walk away. We have crafted this space over a number of years for personal use and now would like others to experience it. Stargazing from the fire bath is a must do feature especially in winter. Dog/pet friendly.

I stayed here only one night which is not enough to drop into such a lovely place. I look forward to come again and stay few nights and get to enjoy this beautiful bush camp. It is comfy with beautiful views to a valley and surrounded by shady trees. The outdoor bath was amazing and fun to play with. I recommend this place to anyone who likes to be out and in nature in a comfy and simple setup.

I loved the Acomidation and it was such a beautiful spot! Very relaxing. The bath was so nice aswell, the best views! I feel like it was a bit unclean though, the dishes were not very clean (assuming from previous campers maybe) so we left ours rinsed as we think they need hot water for washing not just cold water.. there wasn’t much to use utensils wise, and we thought there was meant to be so we went without but really struggled, There wasn’t much instructions on things like the bath for example. You do not need a lot of wood and that’s for sure otherwise you can’t get in, it’s way to hot. Maybe something is needed for the bottom of the tub.. it seemed a bit un safe at times with embers flying around in very close to reach the Acomidation from the fire pit being so close.. including while starting the pot belly fire inside the room.. and the burner is so close to the wall of the Acomidation, we were super worried with where it was sat.. the one pot had black stuff all over it and constantly got all over our clothes and tea towels etc.. maybe it just needs a bit of time spent on it to make it that bit better.

We really enjoyed the relaxed vibe at the tiny house. It was obvious that a lot of love and care went into making it a home. We instantly felt very relaxed and would have loved a rainy day excuse to stay in, listen to the CDs from the boombox, and draw/write/read. We did do a fair amount of that, but also explored the beach in Scamander and Falmouth and the mountain bike trails in St. Helens. Michael was very responsive and helpful with any questions or issues. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had the BEST time during our stay at Mike and Sheena’s boho retreat. It was cozy and comfortable with everything we needed for us to feel at home away from home. The area itself is exactly what we were hoping for: quiet and secluded with a beautiful beach that went on for miles without seeing another soul, but still only a fifteen minute drive from St Marys for any supplies needed. What made it even more special was being able to bring our fur babies along with us. We have two very happy (and tired!) doggies from a weekend full of beach days. We would love to stay here again one day, and have already recommended it to many of our friends.

The Bohemian Beach retreat was just the cosiest place! We absolutely loved our time here - you can tell a lot of love has gone into this place over the years and it feels like home. The outdoor fire pit and bath were highlights. Note the toilet and shower are an outhouse and if its poor weather it can be a wet trip there and back. In saying that - not a negative for us.

Such a beautiful location, abby has thought about everything you need to be comfortable. Kitchen is managable for simple cook ups and the bath is fantastic. Be aware that the charging station is very limited for power. Also wasnt expecting such close neighbours. All in all would definitely recommend and would consider staying again!

This weekend was a birthday present for my wife. She loved it at Valley’s Nest. Calm and peaceful with beautiful view. Very comfy bed, lovely fire that kept us warm. She had a long bath on Sunday taking in the view again. We also loved exploring Fingal and St Mary’s. Great meal that the St Mary’s pub and watched a platypus in the River running past the pub. Great weekend.

We had such a beautiful weekend staying at Mike and Sheena’s Boho beach retreat, it felt peaceful and welcoming. We loved that our dogs could come along with us — it made the weekend feel even more special having them there. The space itself was perfect — simple, cosy, and had everything we needed. It was so nice to switch off, unwind, and enjoy the quiet by the beach. The fire bath was such a highlight — sitting in the warm bath in the rain was pure bliss. We left feeling relaxed, reconnected, and already talking about when we can come back.
