We welcome you to immerse yourself in the varied terrain by foot or bike. You can explore the hillside and ridges, or have a gentle meander and swim down by the river. The property has two listings to choose from, paddock sites and a bell tent site, which are nestled beside the waters of the Murrah River underneath beautiful old mother She Oaks. Each campsite has its own fire pit, grill and hotplate. Let us know if you need to borrow a skillet or camp oven. Firewood is also available if required. The Bottom Paddock is an evolving property with strong roots in community sufficiency, environmental and regenerative initiatives.

This 3000 acre property is located close to Nimmitabel and not too far from Cooma. Try your hand at trout fishing and enjoy endless tracks for bushwalking and observing the native wildlife. Wander along the river banks just enjoying the serenity of the location and witness platypus feeding, water dragons sunning themselves and the brown trout fly feeding and one of Australia's beautiful but lesser known native rodents, Rakali (intelligent semi aquatic water rat who's scientific name translates to golden -bellied water mouse). One of Australia's two aquatic mammals, the platypus being the other. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. IF NO CHEMICAL TOILET, DIG A HOLE AT LEAST 30CM DEEP . There is access to a drinking water supply (mountain river water), or you can bring your own water. After heavy rain you may need to boil/filter for drinking. You will need a 4WD to access the campsites closest to the river as there is a shallow gully crossing. Camper trailer or off road pop up campers will be able to negoiate the tracks. Good clearance necessary to pass over one gully crossing. Dogs are welcome, however, we do run sheep in an adjoining paddock so they need to stay close to your camp. Kids aged 16 and under camp for free. There is a dedicated campfire pit so you can stay warm on chilly evenings (please check to see if there is a seasonal fire ban in place). Fire wood can be provided - chainsaws are permitted but be mindful of structures that are animal habitats. Your family may enjoy taking a bushwalk that takes you around the 300 acre native bush paddock. Climb up and get a birds eye view down into a gully of magnificent granite boulders above where the river disappears deep below. Identify the unique sounds of the native birds and follow the tracks wildlife create. We are centrally located - just 1.5 hours from the snowfields and from the best beaches of the NSW coastline. There is a small general store, 2 takeaway cafes and a pub at Nimmitabel, or you can get all supplies in Cooma 25 mins away. Please note that we have very limited reception service for mobiles, so let's communicate via messages before you arrive in our area. I can provide a camping setup if you need extra bedding or you don't have any camping equipment or tent.

Dogs are welcome, but no fencing on the property. Please note that the kitchen is a basic kitchenette, with no stove. There is a kettle, mini fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. We offer a BBQ an camping gas cooker but cooking inside is not allowed due to the tiny space. WiFi available. Bermagui boasts great spots for coffee, delicious food, the best gelati, and sourdough bread. There are many beautiful beaches for walking, swimming, or relaxing. You'll find plenty of walking paths, fishing spots, and places to exercise. It's within walking distance to a day spa, massage, sauna, and float tank, and a short drive to a yoga studio and Bermagui Harbour. We are a family of four with a mini schnauzer, living 20 meters behind the tiny home. We're happy to help but will leave you in peace. To reach us, turn right onto Lindo Street, which becomes River Road. Follow River Road alongside the river until you see the forest. There's a small dirt road marked 'private road' and a sign for Pitt Street. Follow the dirt road; Kontener 38 is the third place on your right. Don't rely on GPS, as it will take you on a different route unsuitable for most cars. Our place is not accessible for caravans or fishing boats. We offer a "tiny house" on "tiny land" among trees.

We had the most peaceful and poetic stay by the creek in Shanti and Sol’s generous and considered space. Great simple facilities with a natural setting, we felt we were immersed in nature but with plenty of comfort and facilities. Would highly recommend this stay.

Loved the nature immersion in this spot. Amazing birdlife and two very friendly adorable chickens walking round. The campervan ‘Delilah’ was very cozy and comfortable. We had a nice time exploring the grounds and having a drink down by the creek. Great spot to use as a base to explore the bermagui/Tilba areas. Shanti and Sol were excellent hosts - very accommodating and check in was very easy (even at night time). Couldn’t recommend this spot enough.

We really enjoyed our stay at Siam Sanctuary. We loved “Delilah” the retro caravan and were grateful for the fresh water and gas stove. After a couple of weeks of rough camping Delilah was a real treat. The camp is so peaceful and has very relaxed vibes. The giant swing is a lot of fun for all ages and we enjoyed exploring the creek track in the evenings. It is a perfect location to get to Camel Rock for a surf, into Bermagui for lunch, explore the cute galleries at Cobargo and nip to Mystery Bay for an evening dip. I would definitely recommend a stay here and will definitely come back again. Thank you!

This camp was stunning. Despite it being winter, it was breathtaking. It was definitely quiet but the workers were so attentive and lovely. I stayed in a Koala cabin and would recommend, spacious, deck space, big bathroom- will be 100% coming back in summer and opening all the windows to look at the kangaroos go past. Perfect for family’s, solo trips, couple trips or just a one night stay- so many amenities that were clean and hold a lovely energy about them. If you’re staying in Tathra- this is the place you should pick. Thank you for having me.

Great location, just outside of Eden, right on the beach. We stayed in one of the dog-friendly cabins by the creek, with two adults, two kids and the dog, and it was quite comfortable, and had everything we needed. Loved how the cabin had it's own fenced-in courtyard and private BBQ. Super friendly staff too. Would recommend!

Great campsite on our Sapphire Coast roadtrip! Conveniently located next to Mimosa Rocks National Park and Bunga Beach. Quick drive or nice walk (~30 mins) to Bunga Beach. Love this spot!
