Toolibut Bush Camp is a secluded, tranquil 68 acre bush block set back one kilometre from Borden-Bremer Bay Road, 32 kilometres from Bremer Bay, Western Australia. You can choose either a secluded area to camp where you can surround yourself with natural bush, Yates, and Toolibut trees or a more wide open space where two or three caravans traveling together can park with plenty of room. There are walk trails to explore that meander through the bush, wetlands and paperbark thickets. Keep a lookout for kangaroos and bird life. For the 4x4 enthusiast, the 9 km track to Reef Beach is a challenge that will reward you with beach fishing and sand dunes to explore. If you prefer, you can set up camp near the camp kitchen. This area is ideal for group bookings as well as individuals. The camp kitchen is basic with a BBQ, bar, fridge and a sink with running untreated rain water. A clean toilet is also provided but no shower. It is recommended that you are self-contained as the camp kitchen has no water or power outlets, (hookups) for caravans or RV's. No generators please. Campfire in the communal firepit area is welcome except during a fire ban. Firewood and kindling are provided for your convenience. While sitting around the fire, you can see the stars and listen to the night sounds. Don't forget the marshmallows. We are a dog friendly camp-site but please keep your pets on a leash. If you wish to take your dog off the lead for a run, there is a designated off leash area in the top paddock. You may even see our family of kangaroos on your walk. Toolibut is an ideal place to park up and explore the surrounding area. Bremer Bay has excellent beaches, whale tours and the world renowned Fitzgerald River National Park with its unique wildflowers and viewing platforms for whale watching.

A great spot for a quiet camp near incredible beaches! We loved our 5 night stay in the meadow. Flat for the caravan and wide open space for our dog (on a long lead) to roam about our campsite without bothering others. Can’t speak highly enough about the lovely hosts! Would recommend!

The absolute best camp. Really enjoyed the time here. Host was amazing, so friendly and helpful. Secluded and safe, beautiful bird life, fun beach access (4wd only). Dog friendly, lots of walks to do with furry friend. Could have easily stayed longer. We will be back!

We had a lovely time, facilities were great, and the site was stunning. We got stuck on the sand in the driveway on the way in and the hosts were SO helpful despite having an injured shoulder getting us out. Beautiful friendly dogs on site as well. 10/10 if we’re back in bremer bay will be staying again

The Meadow
Setup in the meadow with a view to open paddock whith kangaroos and emus passing through. It was a great camp very quite and only a short 30 odd ks to Brema Bay township. The host's were very friendly. Would recommend Toolibutt bush camp they have plenty of options/sites to cater for all needs.

We enjoyed our stay very much, plenty of room away from crowds. Sun if you want it & plenty of shade amongst the trees if that’s what you are after. Lynda & Kevin very nice hosts. Would definitely stay again!

Everything went well. Lynda was very friendly and her property was perfect to relax at. Close enough to Bremer to go and explore. Heaps of space and you feel like you are all by yourself.

We had such a great stay at Toolibut and would absolutely return. Access was easy with our 21’ caravan, and there was plenty of space in the paddock to set up comfortably without feeling crowded. It’s a beautiful, peaceful setting — nestled amongst trees with loads of birdlife. Waking up to the sound of kookaburras each morning was pretty special. Lynda was a wonderful host. She met us on arrival, checked what facilities we needed, personally escorted us to the paddock, and even checked in with us each day to make sure everything was going well. That personal touch really makes a difference. The facilities are excellent — potable water available in the paddock or near the camp kitchen, a dump point, and a very well-set-up camp kitchen with toilets, a hot shower, BBQ and fridge. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s also an easy 30-minute drive along the main road into Bremer Bay, where you’ll find some of the most beautiful beaches around. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay — always a good sign. Highly recommend Toolibut if you’re looking for a relaxed, nature-based stay with great facilities and a welcoming host.

Toolibut was so peaceful and we really felt we were the only ones there although we were not. Lynda welcomed us and was so friendly and helpful and Kevin arrived the day after we got there. Kevin was very friendly as well. Loved the camp kitchen and such clean and well maintained toilet and shower facilities. We definitely recommend and it’s only 30 kms from Bremer. 4X4 track to Reef Beach is nearby and so beautiful .We will be back!

We had a great experience. Lynda welcomed us and she was lovely. We still found the price a bit high a ($40 a night for two in a rooftop tent) considering there's no equipment available for campers in the kitchen ( no soap, no sponge) As well as the bbq & kitchen was not very clean… and no chairs at the same height as the table so you can’t stay seat around It was still a good experience, but it needs to stand out to justify its price.

We had good vibes as soon as we arrived at Toolibut. As soon as we met Lynda she was friendly and accommodating, and showed us the options of where we could set up. We ended up with so much space around us and it was just beautiful at golden hour. Kevin and Lynda even sent us Aurora updates!

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Toolibut. Lynda warmly welcomed us and we could choose a spot to park our van. We spent our evenings stargazing and slept so well in the peaceful evenings. We wished we could stay longer!

We was welcomed by lovely Lynda and We loved camping at this spot plenty of space, and privacy with the toilet and shower nearby, would've loved longer to appreciate their land but next time we will explore more. Had a lovely chat with Kevin and his son would highly recommend a stay there.

On the day of arrival, we were moved to another paddock further away which suited us perfectly. The other site had kids on both sides and the only kid we have is our dog Shadow, a Schnoodle who is nearly 13 yrs. This allowed him to be off the lead. He is really good and doesn't wonder far these days. The property has plenty of space to camp. The tracks are great with plenty of trees and open spaces. There is a camp kitchen, toilets and showers. Well cared for. We didn't get to see any Roos. The Aurora Australia, the strongest solar radiation storm since 2003, appeared. Unfortunately we didn't get to see it due to it being cloudy. Our host was lucky enough to see it with a break in the clouds. Very cool. Definitely stay here again when back in the area. Only 25 min drive to Bremer Bay and 100% relaxing.

Lynda and Kevin were very welcoming, and also accommodating about our late check-in. We sincerely appreciated the access to a hot shower and the temporary use of a fridge after a number of days camping in national parks. It was the perfect refresher stop for us. Redheart Lane was right behind the kitchen and amenities block, which meant that it didn't have any privacy, but for us the benefits of that convenience outweighed the disadvantages.
