Nestled in the heart of beautiful Boranup Forest, this is a very peaceful, private and quiet setting for our two campsites. There is an abundance of birdlife here, including blue wrens and red/white tailed cockatoos. Enjoy a 600m stroll down the track to the Boranup Art Gallery and Café (closed Mondays), a 10-minute drive to the stunning Contos Beach (note: this road can be quite corrugated), and a 5-minute drive to the amazing Lake Cave where you descend a staircase through an ancient sinkhole, known as a doline, into a sunken forest to reach this magnificent cave, which features dripping formations and a beautifully reflective underground lake. Access to an outside toilet and hot showers are available upon request (extra $5 p/p per day for showers). Two separate campsites are available both with access to bore water and both offering Privacy from each other: Jarrah, the larger of the two sites, and Marri, the smaller one (note: the surface is slightly sandier at this site).

Marri is the smaller of the two campsites, and has a cosy private feel. This site has a softer sandier surface than Jarrah. Access to a bore water tap is available here. The toilet/shower building is situated in front of the Main house. Hot Showers available upon Request (additional $5p/p per day) Please be mindful to keep noise down after 9pm.

Secluded camping in nature
Jarrah
Lovely and secluded camp amongst nature, lots of birdlife. Easy instructions to find. Fiona was a friendly and welcoming host. Amenities were as described and got a nice hot shower. Would stay again when back in the area.

The camp site was perfect for our stay. Flat with access to bore water and toilet / shower. The location is fantastic between Margaret River and Augusta. The site is quite which made sleeping easierand enjoyed hearing the birds feeling part of nature. Lisa is a fantastic host and helped make our stay comfortable!

Had a lovely designated spot. Sand is not my preferred surface for putting up a tent. There are nice surrounding activities. No toilets or amenities I could find.

Good place to stay for the night! Good working toilet and shower outside the couple that live there so lovely and friendly. Sitatued in a beautiful forest near lake cave! Good location.

We had a fantastic stay here. Lisa and her partner are incredibly lovely people and such thoughtful hosts. The property itself is beautiful, peaceful, and wonderfully quiet — the perfect place to relax. The Boranup Gallery is just down the road and is definitely worth a visit as well. We couldn’t recommend this Hipcamp more highly.

Lisa and Tolle were very lovely hosts, and were very flexible in letting me move to a shadier spot and getting the ground flattened to pitch my tent. It was nice to stay in the Boranup forest too :)

We had a great time on our 3 night getaway on the Marri site. A quiet spot nestled in nature, plenty of birds around and nice views of the stars at night. It's a smaller site but fit our troopy and the 2 of us fine. The second site "Jarrah" was close by, but we still felt private in our area. The site is in a great central location for driving around to check out local areas, only a short drive up to Margaret river, or 30 minutes down to Augusta. The boranup gallery and forest cafe are walking distance which was great for a morning coffee or breakfast meal. Lisa had terrific communication and made us feel very welcomed. Thankyou Lisa!
