This is a parkland area, with both trees and open areas. It does have quite a bit of wildlife as in Kangaroos, possums and bird life. This camping area is a couple of km's (walking distance) to state forest with The Munda bindi bike trail and Bibbulmun walking track. Campfires permitted within local regulations - not over summer. Pets welcome but please ask prior to booking as we have livestock. Must be kept on a lead when approved by host.  There are no amenities here, campers must be self contained and leave no trace.  f your looking for a real rural experience with beautiful forest to wake up in this is the place. Close enough to Donnybrook if you need it but hidden away as well. Donnybrook is a town situated between Boyanup and Kirup on the South Western Highway, 210 kilometres south of Perth.

We loved Parkland Bush Camp Mapanap. Beautiful and peaceful. Absolutely lovely spot and would definitely recommend! We stayed at site 1 in our caravan and had plenty of space on relatively level ground 👍🏻

Lovely secluded camp site. Beautiful trees providing shade but also letting sun through. Fire pits provided and also a picnic table. Easy access and clear instructions on how to get there. Plenty of lovely wildlife to see. I would highly recommend this property and would love to return soon.

Great spot with a good size site with plenty of space nice and peaceful. The bird song in the morning was great. Close to some nice wineries. Would thoroughly recommend.

What a spot - definitely come back and stay a week in the cooler months - good communication and great hosts - private spot no matter which site you stay at - Plenty of wood to collect and burn - top notch spot - couldn’t fault anything Thanks to hosts 👍👍

This camp is in a great bush setting. Jason was easy going and friendly. There are no facilities and you might have to dodge a cow or two. But if you want to get away from it all this is the place.

Great long weekend on site 1 with two other vans. Plenty of space, shade and peace and quiet. Had a really nice fire going. It was our second time here and will definitely come again!

We loved our 3 night stay, had a 19ft caravan and a 17ft caravan and a tent, plenty of room amongst the gum trees. Lovely walk down to the dam. Saw heaps of kangaroos crossing the paddocks. Absolute tranquility and peace and quiet, plenty of wood around for the fire pit that was supplied, also a picnic table which was lovely to have dinner together. Jason came to say hi and gave us some asparagus. Absolutely recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed.

Great place to stay. Nice and quiet, close to Donnybrook to go and spend the day. Site was very peaceful at the top of the hill surrounded by all the trees. Great spot for a group and dogs. Thanks again Jason we will be back.

The drive to camp through Thomson Brook was beautiful. The campsite was everything I expected from amazing rolling hills to tall trees. The fire pit was handy to identify the campsite. Clean and well looked after.

Great spot amongst the trees! Masses of birds, wake up to the kookaburras and magpies singing (and crows complaining 😂), plenty of roos around too - and the distant sound of cows bellowing. Felt like a million miles from anywhere but still quite close to Donnybrook. Absolutely picturesque countryside with rolling green hills all around.

The site 5 at Jason's property was fantastic very quiet more then plenty of room great fire pit set up and beautiful views. The kids loved it! Directions sent through from Jason were very clear and made it easy to find the spot. Jason was really friendly, great bloke to have a chat with.

We had another fantastic time at this campsite. The views out over the farm and sitting by the firedrum soaking it all in with a drink. Loads of space and very flat, cannot recommend more highly.

I loved this spot! Fire pit and picnic bench at the site was a nice bonus. We camped in the rooftop but the site is huge so would fit anything. Ground was nice n firm for the tent pegs to hold. Heaps of birds around and cows in the distance, the occasional roo jumping passed. Was so peaceful and relaxing, we'll definitely be coming back.

What great spot! So quiet and peaceful. And so so private. There are four other sites in the area, but they may as well have been 100 miles away. We will definitely be booking again. Thanks Jason for opening your gates up to hipcampers

We were only there for 1 night. Amazing spot. Site 5 at the top of the hill. They have a camp fire there and also a park table. 10/10. Will be back for sure with the whole family.

Took 2 x 19ft and up to site 5. Loads of room, tracks were in good condition and the table and fireplace were a great addition. Very relaxing spot amongst the jarrah forrest. We will.be back
