Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Our Land is 70 acres of mostly native bush with large Karri trees surrounding the beautiful views of the Irwin Inlet. The area cleared is where the original Benson Family lived. The house was burnt down and they then left. We moved up here 40 plus years ago and have slowly cleared the area. We are only 7 kms to the wonderful Peaceful Bay where all amount of activities can be taken. Safe swimming, fishing, surfing and boating. The famous Tree Top Walk is approximately 20 kms away, with the local Bow Bridge Roadhouse 5 mins away.Also located at Peaceful Bay are the famous local fresh fish and chips. We are situated approximately half way between Walpole and Denmark. All of our sites have views of the Irwin Inlet. As we use dam water for watering our garden we do have open dams near by. Just wanted all guests to be aware of this. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Pets are allowed on leash. Campfires are allowed as long as they are in a contained drum unless there is a total fire ban. We would let you know if this was the case. Great views of Irwin inlet. Beautiful forest setting. Very friendly hosts. We were the only ones there.

It was a busy weekend to be fair but a little closer to each other than we were hoping and near the house where the lights stayed on all night

Felt the camping area a bit too close to homestead A bit of advice on arrival regarding potential gale force winds up from the inlet during the night would have been welcomed Ute+ rooftop+awning with side walls just about took off during the night Great spot for caravans

Overall we and and our friends made the best of the time spent their. Due the wind and rain it was very cold. We used our vehicles as wind breaks. But you can't control the weather. Also the distance to Demark and Albany every day became tiresome. But if you want to just chill and just stay local there is plenty to see and do.

We loved staying at Ray and Julie's gorgeous peaceful property. The views over the inlet are stunning (the photos don't do it justice). The location is perfect to visit many terrific places in the area including the valley of the giants , Denmark, green pool , elephant rocks and mad fish bay.

A beautiful quiet spot away from the crowds, but still close enough to Walpole & Denmark, & only 5 minutes from the gorgeous beach at Peaceful Bay. Julie was so lovely & friendly! We had a great spot under the trees & our dog loved having the run of the place. We loved our stay! Thanks for having us!

Ray and Julie's property is central to Walpole and Denmark. If I realised how well it was positioned I would have booked more nights. The camp is an open property on a hillside which gives a lovely view of the inlet. There is plenty of shade and the ground is flat enough that chocks can easily hide and discrepancies, (we didn't need chocks). Yes, you can see the house but if you need privacy there is plenty of room to angle your rig so it's not your focal point. The only time we saw the owner was when they came over to meet us. Good view and quiet spot close to peaceful bay with plenty to see in the area. No access to toilet or any facilities so normally we wouldn’t stay even though we have portable toilet etc. I would rather not drive to empty my urine etc. Got us out of a jam in busy times and would be awesome if it had access to toilet and potable water.

This property is stunning and perfectly located right near Peaceful Bay. Ray and Julie are exceptional hosts, accommodating, respectful, and welcoming. We can't wait to return and highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting the area!

We spent an enjoyable 3 nights at Ray and Julie’s property. What a view. Yes their house is in view but we never felt any lack of privacy. Julie came over for a chat - told us the history of the property. We were the only campers there for our stay - our Border Collie had the run of the place. For the Orchid hunters, there are several different varieties within a few minutes walk of the camp. Peacefull Bay a short drive away - as well as the many attractions of the area. Definitely will be coming back when we’re in the area.

Amazing view! Quiet. Close to Marron Tale, Peaceful Bay and about half way between Walpole and Denmark. It is close to the house, but for us this wasn’t an issue. Amazing for groups!! Thank you for offering your property in this way.

Thank you for allowing us to stay on your property over the weekend. The view was lovely and it was nice to be able to be close to everything but still away from the crowds that visit the neighbouring towns. The campsites are large and even though close to the house it didn’t bother us at all. There was no one home when we arrived but were greeted by a friend of the owners a few hours later. It was a lovely stay. Thanks again

We had a very nice stay at Ray and Julie's and after booking for 3 nights decided to stay on for our week of holidays. Found it was a great base to explore the region with plenty to do within a half hours drive. The property is nice and secluded and we felt safe leaving our caravan to go off exploring for the day. There are a few dams and walk trails which kept our dog satisfied too. Lots of tall shady trees, native bush and a great view over the inlet. Plenty of space for the 4 sites available.

We just spent 4 nights and thoughrly enjoyed it. Enjoyed taking the dog for a walk through the Forrest. Close to Peaceful Bay.
