5 beautiful acres in the Swan Valley with horses, we run a horse rehoming charity from here where all proceeds from hipcamp go to support our facility. Along with plenty of horses, you'll also see kangaroos at certain times and our pet sheep Jamima who thinks she's a horse! A superb property with a winter creek and an open paddock where the horses live. It's very peaceful. There are only two camping sites available on this wonderful property at any time so privacy is assured. There is also a dam on the property so please mind any children with absent swimming abilities. Campfires are allowed during the season, and there is a toilet and shower available in the shed 100 meters from the camping area. Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. Please note, however, we offer a group camping option for larger groups but those booking this option must be fully self-contained as our facilities are not enough to support a large group. We have a strict Leave No Trace policy here, we kindly ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave. We also ask that you please do not feed the horses. The property is well located to access many great wineries and cafes in the famous Swan Valley area, some within walking distance. Security here is taken care of by Mr security guard "aka" Smoky our pet dog. He's very safe and timid. If you get a pat from this boy I know you're good, so beware! We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. We may also be able to accommodate your horse - please discuss this with us prior to booking. Pull into the driveway with the red cones and drive through the gate and find a spot, farm rules apply, leave any gate as you find it. Pull into the driveway with the red cones and drive through the gate, farm rules apply, leave any gate as you find it. Call the number provided when you make a booking on arrival for further instructions and toilet/shower location. Dogs on leashes please and no dog toys are allowed in the paddock as they are a choking hazard for the horses, also to the one dipshit who thought this was a golf course absolutely no golfballs!! If you have starlink, please keep it at the highest point of you camp, stick it in a tree if you can, just not on the ground and cords need to be safe not looped up in the paddock as a tripping hazard.

Dale came and greeted myself and children in a very friendly manner ,he helped up with our seats as I had a little trouble . I loved that he had explained about the horses and the great work that takes place at the farm. I highly recommend for those who are confident around horses and have a passion for farm life . So glad the parks were booked up and I looked elsewhere. So quiet, the horses were super friendly and Dale was a great host.

I loved staying at Dale’s remote camping where you’re surrounded with horses and the lovely dogs Muffin and Rolex. The amenities are basic and rustic but if you’re self sufficient and love animals, it’s a great stay with a nice location! Thanks for having me!

Stayed here 4 nights. Probably not a place to hang out during the day in the middle of summer, and that it totally on us. We were using it as a base to go to work so we were only at camp for part of the days during our stay. Great location for our needs. Dale was friendly. Loved having the horses around camp. Dogs were good some of the time. We did appreciate that we were on their turf but I don’t think anyone likes wet, dirty dogs running through their camp and rubbing up against them. They were only puppies and I am sure in time they will learn some manners. Also one of the dogs destroyed my hubbies thong while he was showering. The thongs were literally at the door of OUR shower for about 10 minutes. Dale just blew us off when we mentioned it. An apology would have been nice. Also I think that the blurb on the HipCamp App needs a little updating. I have given a mixed feelings rating because of the dogs and the inaccuracy of the HipCamp Platform blurb. Would recommend this site only for a quick overnight stay if you are visiting in the hotter months like we did.

Unique camp. Dale passions about horses and their well-being. The place is quiet, offering space to relax and have opportunities to meet gorgeous horses walking around. Two young dogs Rolex and Muffin greeting you with enthusiasm. The toilet and shower available. Swan Valley: vineyards, chocolate factory, honey place just in closed proximity, so you can explore them whole day long and come back to the quiet, welcoming place to relax. Thank you Dale. Dale’s property makes for a great camp location. Very flat and plenty of variety for spots to set up under trees with shade but still exposed enough for solar. All the basic amenities you could need and a very relaxing vibe. Friendly/welcoming host - we would use again in the future.

Sometimes you luck out. Dale's land is a sweet find. It is an open paddock with the horses milling around. It is dusty in the summer, but I was informed the paddock is green in the winter. The facilities are slim, but a flush toilet, a campfire site in the non-fire season works for me. Thank you for your hospitality.

Great spot for a quick weekender. Close to breweries and wineries which means you don’t have to prep and cook. Kids loved the horses. Host Dale was great. Shower could probably use abit more secured privacy. Or just byo. We went during the summer, so def go back in the spring where the grass is greener. Overall good experience.

It’s in a good position to access Perth and Freo with plenty of space to camp. Dale is welcoming with his dogs ( very friendly and will chew on anything left on the ground over night ) . You will wake to the sound of the horses chewing on the grass and ducks. The amenities are ok but the shower needs a love if you travailing with girls or young children

We really enjoyed it! It was our first time camping with horses and animals in a paddock. My 7 years old daughter was excited, but became a little bit scared of the two unleashed pitbull dogs. We love animals and loved the dogs too! But they were quite intrusive, particularly overnight, pushing our small tent with us inside. This has scared her and she could not sleep. We knew they just wanted to play, but they were pushing quite hard. So I kindly asked (via message) the host (Dale) to keep them withn his fence for the night, if possible. He did not reply, but he did it and we slept well. The morning after, the dogs came again and we happily played with them for half an hour. However, when the host woke up, he was quite rude to us, arguing we should not go there if we do not like animals, that the paddock is dogs home, that we were asking too many things... and all my attempts to clarify with him, failed. Honestly, that misunderstanding was really a sad note, making us feeling unwanted (my daughter has been crying half an hour due to that, feeling guilty without reason). So we left ahead our planned time. I wish to warmly thank Dale anyway for hosting us, and I definitely recommend this peaceful place. Probably, the only thing that could be improved is communication between host and campers 🙂

We really enjoyed our stay at Dale’s due to: welcoming host; being immersed with well cared for and respected domestic animals (horses, sheep, dogs): reflected in their calm nature; limited number of campers; natural shading by established trees; basic but adequate bathroom facilities; central location -access to Swan Valley attractions, shopping, highways, public transport, Whiteman Park (great for families as has free waterpark, playgrounds, basketball courts, tram rides (free for 2025), train rides, museums, cafe, large shaded lawns, natural bushland with native animals, cycling and walking paths and trails). Whilst there is some airtraffic noise at peak morning and evening times, this didn’t impact negatively on our stay; night air cooled; stars shone brightly; minimal ambient noise all made for 3 very restful nights stay. We would not hesitate to stay again.

The site was flat and I setup in the shade of a nearby tree, the dogs were very friendly and had a couple of visits from the horses. Having the toilet nearby was a bonus.

Absolutely fantastic campsite in the horses and sheep’s and dogs back yard. We had (without reservation) the best time ever and will definitely be back. I cannot recommend highly enough. It’s just a beautiful experience.

The place is peaceful, tidy, and exactly what you want for a relaxing getaway. The hosts were super welcoming and made everything easy. The property has heaps of space, great views, and a really chilled vibe. Perfect spot to kick back, enjoy nature, and reset. Highly recommend!

Very peaceful and easy. Dale was great, our dogs loved Rolex and muffin, Dales dogs. If you’re after a relaxing no frills get away this is for you. Horses very friendly as well.

Simple and as described. Arrived 6/7pm each day and left early so didn’t actually meet the host - only via text. Markers on the roadside so easy to locate. Didn’t use the shower or toilet as we had our own. Horses in the paddock & the dogs were friendly. A quiet nights sleep. Would happily return

Dale and his dogs and horses were all very friendly and kept us company throughout our stay (camping is in a paddock with the horses, and the dogs come and go as they like). Access to toilet and drinking water appreciated. Plenty of space, and a fire to keep us warm in the evening. 20min walk with the dog to the nearest dog-friendly Pub. A lovely spot.

We had a great time with our Caravans and tent for a family weekend away. We booked a horse and cart ride to the Bailey Brewing and it was great fun. Had lots of puppy cuddles and brief visits from the horses, not the grumpy sheep though he wasn’t fond of us. Will definitely come back again
