5 beautiful acres in the Swan Valley with horses, we run a horse rehoming charity from here where all proceeds from hipcamp go to support our facility. Along with plenty of horses, you'll also see kangaroos at certain times and our pet sheep Jamima who thinks she's a horse! A superb property with a winter creek and an open paddock where the horses live. It's very peaceful. There are only two camping sites available on this wonderful property at any time so privacy is assured. There is also a dam on the property so please mind any children with absent swimming abilities. Campfires are allowed during the season, and there is a toilet and shower available in the shed 100 meters from the camping area. Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. Please note, however, we offer a group camping option for larger groups but those booking this option must be fully self-contained as our facilities are not enough to support a large group. We have a strict Leave No Trace policy here, we kindly ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave. We also ask that you please do not feed the horses. The property is well located to access many great wineries and cafes in the famous Swan Valley area, some within walking distance. Security here is taken care of by Mr security guard "aka" Smoky our pet dog. He's very safe and timid. If you get a pat from this boy I know you're good, so beware! We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. We may also be able to accommodate your horse - please discuss this with us prior to booking. To suit caravan, tent, camper trailer, no specific site as each site needs to move so the paddock doesn't get worn out, its the horses forage, there are firepits here, no byo firepits and no groundfires. Pull into the driveway with the red cones and drive through the gate and find a spot, farm rules apply, leave any gate as you find it. Call the number provided when you make a booking on arrival for further instructions and toilet/shower location. Dogs on leashes please and no dog toys are allowed in the paddock as they are a choking hazard for the horses, also to the one dipshit who thought this was a golf course absolutely no golfballs!! There is an incinerator on site for dogshit so please ask, also a day yard where you can safely leave your beloved pet at no charge if you have to be somewhere but check with any venue as most in the swan valley accept dogs, unless it is clearly signposted the venue must accept all pets with conditions of course. If you have starlink, please keep it at the highest point of you camp, stick it in a tree if you can, just not on the ground and cords need to be safe not looped up in the paddock as a tripping hazard.

Had a great time with my kids here. Dale was a great host, took the time to introduce the kids to all the animals, gave us a run down on the place, assisted with the fire and gave us a few good laughs. Highly recommend for a little getaway close to the city to let the kids run free on the paddock with the animals

I had the most amazing time! I visited with my sister who came to Australia and loves horses, and we were both truly so happy during our stay. If you love horses, this is definitely a place you must visit. Not only the horses, but there are also two lovely dogs and an adorable sheep, which made the experience even more special. I would absolutely love to come back, and it was a camping experience I will never forget. Thank you so much for taking such great care of us, Dale!

If you love horses this is perfect site for horse lovers Very tranquil and lots of space to have you privacy even with campers around Plus my Maltese shitzu Otis thought he was in doggy land I will definitely go back

We loved camping at everything horses, we had a beautiful spot under tree. other campers on site but didnt notice them. Dale was very friendly. Our son loved it, we loved it.

Nice quiet place to relax. The horses are the added bonus, my kids were crazy about them. Dale was very welcoming and very friendly, and happy to have a chat with us when we went to the sheds. He has 2beautiful dogs rolex (cheeky but cuke one) and muffin (the gentle soul) my dog has lots of fun playing with them. Thanks Dale we will visit again. Thank you for your hospitality.

My partner and I loved staying here, we even booked an unplanned extra night. Rolex and Muffin are so cute, and so are the horses. Sure, you have to be able to adapt to a rudimentary shower and a shared toilet, but if you can go past the appearance you will find yourself falling in love with a simple lifestyle and a welcoming place. Dale is just an amazing human too!

Peaceful Paddock Camp groundfire.
This property truly is peaceful. We were welcomed at the paddock gate by one of the beautiful, friendly resident dogs, so we were delighted from the start. It was very warm, but we found a lovely big tree for shade, in the very large paddock. The horses in the paddock were very friendly and gentle, and our puppy had a wonderful time making friends with the 2 affectionate dogs. Dale and his dad were very easy going and welcoming too, and made us feel right at home. We’ll definitely be back!

It was a very convenient location for visiting the Swan valley. It was also very quiet, only some noise from planes but not disruptive to us. Plenty of space. 2 very friendly dogs and the horses were lovely to be around. Some shade and a few places to sit. Simple but perfect for us.

We found an easy-to-park spot in the shade, and it was great to have a shower and toilet close by. We walked to the Bailey Brewery, which is about 15 minutes away. We will be back.

Everything the toilet was right near where the man watched tv and spoke to you the entire time, the dog ripped open the tent and chewed our things up, the host did nothing to make our stay pleasent and he yelled at our kids for walking up to the only toilet.

Not happy with the camping sites.. Dod not look like the photos on the sites. We were two different families camping ... both left within an hour. There were people packing a container which made us feel uncomfortable.. Looking for a relaxing weekend away and it wasn't. Had to find different accommodation so the weekend cost me double.

Overall, we had a really lovely stay. There are plenty of spots to pitch a tent, not grassy, but perfectly fine as long as you remember to clear a bit of horse poo first. The view over the little pond and the neighbouring farm is beautiful. There is a large pile of old furniture, broken bikes and various bits and pieces that slightly interrupts the scenery, but the incredible night sky more than makes up for it. A small heads-up for future visitors: there’s an extremely friendly dog on the property. He happily comes to say hello. And by hello, I mean enthusiastic licking. He’s quite a big boy, so our little one was actually knocked over during a particularly affectionate greeting. You’ll also want to keep an eye on your food, as he’s very keen to share your meals! Although there are planes flying to and from the nearby airport (the last one passed around 1am and the first took off around 5am), we still had a wonderful time enjoying nature and the peaceful farm atmosphere.

The photos don't reflect the camp nor it's environment. There are trees to provide shades where you can set up your tent if you wanted to, the whole campground is exposed to the heat and worse, they don't have showers if you're tenting.

Dale came and greeted myself and children in a very friendly manner ,he helped up with our seats as I had a little trouble . I loved that he had explained about the horses and the great work that takes place at the farm. I highly recommend for those who are confident around horses and have a passion for farm life . I loved staying at Dale’s remote camping where you’re surrounded with horses and the lovely dogs Muffin and Rolex. The amenities are basic and rustic but if you’re self sufficient and love animals, it’s a great stay with a nice location! Thanks for having me!
