Dongara Bush Camp was a fantastic place to base ourselves for the Dongara area. Although the Coastal conditions were hot and windy, the DBC site was sheltered and shaded. It was a short 5 minute drive to the beach and shops but it was always great to return to the peaceful bush camp. Having a super clean flushing toilet and delicious rainwater was a great bonus. We enjoyed the spacious camp kitchen which was full of character and provided a comfortable place to relax and share a meal. We came for one night and stayed for three, we could not recommend this place highly enough.

Dongara Bush Camp
Excellent camping spot, secluded feel but close to town. Flushing toilet and camp kitchen made camping a very comfortable experience.
Dog friendly is a major plus, would recommend to anyone headed north.

Dongara Bush Camp
We stopped by Dongara Bush Camp for one night to break up a long drive. Firstly very clear directions were given on how to access the camp. David was super responsive with contact when we had a question. He even came out to say hello and welcome us in the rain! The grounds were well maintained, the toilet was sooo clean! We didn’t use the kitchen space, but everything looked clean. The facilities were quirky, but unfortunately we had rain so just went straight to bed. We would definitely recommend this camp to friends and stop again if the journey suited!

Dongara Bush Camp
We loved the location, lots of room surrounded by bush and a huge log we used to set up our cooker. We camped one night late August, the camp has fire pits available, and a flushing loo! :) There is a large shed (lighting not powered but you could easily set up your own lights inside. Thank you David & Sian - great job, well done.

Had a fabulous week’s stay!! Peaceful, great camp kitchen and a bonus clean toilet( saved using van one!!!) Dog friendly, we managed our reactive dog as only 5 spots, so not crowded!!!
Short drive into town!!

Firstly it was easy to find and was relatively close to town. Although when you arrive at the camp it is so secluded and completely private with no specific spots to camp. We loved that we could make our own camp spot and then light a fire using the wood we were allowed to forage for.
The camp hosts David and Sian popped over to greet us and we had a great time chatting with them. They are such lovely people and have made this place a wonderful place to be. Highly recommend to couples and families or groups. The best outdoor loo EVER!!

Stayed here for one night on our way up north. Great spot with clean facilities (camp kitchen and toilets), clear communication, and accurate directions. Our fur baby was welcome too, which was a big plus! Will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful and quiet little spot. Lots of trees but ample room for tents and rvs. Great facilities very close to all amenities and all the tourists spots. I look forward to visiting again.
