Great camping experience on the Parson’s farm. Generous sized camp sites, some beautiful native scrub to wander through, dogs allowed on lead, provided a fire pit for a camp fire, and some truly special sunrises and mornings that make everything golden. Also, the stars were incredible and there was a decent amount of privacy. Communication with host was easy, they were responsive and provided clear directions. Porta-potty on site for a toilet, but also a close dump point at Mount Barker visitor centre if you have your own. Under an hour to Albany and Denmark in either direction and a great access point for heading to the Porongurups and Stirling Ranges National Park. It was a pleasure staying here, had a great time and would do it again! Cheers.

The place was a great house and we loved basing ourself here for the surrounding day trip adventures. The place was FILTHY sadly…..
Toilet was disgusting and dust, dead flies on window cils, shower filthy, one shower no shower head, no lights hooked up for patio, no cleaning stuff, no toilet paper. It’s like the place was just left and not cleaned from whoever was last in it….. We cleaned it up as much as we could so we could enjoy our 5 days there, we were happy to pay (not cheap) but for the disgraceful state the place was in it was not pleasant or were we happy about it at all.

We arrived to the farm easily in the late afternoon. The house was unlocked and we entered into what could only be described as a filthy house which obviously had recent dirty tenants. Nothing was clean. The floors were so dirty we all had to wear our shoes inside. Everything was dusty. All the kitchenware was dirty and needed washing, definitely not with the wash cloth provided which appeared to be 10 years old. The cupboards were filthy. Shower was filthy. All the bath / toilet mats were disgusting and had to be put through the wash. The toilet was the pinnacle of filth with so much wee all over it the kids were told to not even use it until we cleaned it. So another 30 min drive to get cleaning supplies and hours for us to make the place clean. Such a shame. Once we cleaned everything it was a lovely stay but really disappointed with the condition of the place. Zero care really. I was so embarrassed to bring my friends there. To top it off we were charged a cleaning fee in the booking!!! It should be the other way around.

Overall we had a great experience. The property is remote enough to feel like you're away from it all and we weren't disturbed once. It was easy to find and we loved the horses. The house does need a deep clean, all surfaces, linen, drawers and cupboards. It's very dusty.

We had a great time staying in both the 3 bedroom farm house and also a camping spot for our RV. We had 5 kids with us, two adults and a pensioner and everyone enjoyed it. The location is easy to find and a good base to explore Mt Barker, Albany and Denmark. We did have some issues with the hot water, it seemed to only work if we lit the fire despite it being solar but that was ok as we enjoyed having it going to warm up the house. The house has everything you need but is very dusty which wreaked havoc on those of us with dust allergies. The kids loved the horses and we enjoyed the beautiful mornings with fog over the property. Hosts were easy to communicate with and really responsive. It was great having the house as well as room for our motorhome.

We had such a Great time and the kids just love it, The camping spot is nice and clean and the site is near to the trees, lots of space to put your Tents and Gazebo, and sites far from each other so you have complete privacy.

I loved Justin dropping by every campsite ensuring everyone is content. I also appreciated Justin’s down to earth nature and always eager to help if needed at campsite.
Things to be noted; be reminded that the site is provided only with 1 DG set and it is fixed in one location. You may require minimum of 60-80 meters of cables if required to extend the power supply to the last camp site. Only 1 portable toilets are provided. You need to bring your own water.

We had simply the best time. Justin and his crew are the sweetest kindest bunch of blokes you ever meet. They took care of anything we needed and beyond. They even took us all, including our dog and 4 kids, to catch yabbies one evening! Smiles all over, big hearts and the camping at an edge of a bush, with a view of the Stirling Ranges on the horizon… simply 5*

It was our first camping, Justin welcomed us on our arrival and took us to our spot, the spot was clean and quiet. We asked for hot water in the mornings for coffee and Justin brought us boiled water, very lovely of him. We also had the chance to meet the horse and the ponys, my daughter had a ride on the pony with Justin, We had lovely chat with him as well. In conclusion, very great experience and the host is very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend my friends and would love to come back and visit the farm again 😊

Wonderful site! Spent 2 nights at this site with our friends, we’re group of 15 people in total. The hosts couldn’t be more welcoming, friendly and helpful. They provided us everything we need. Justin even gave us his freshly caught yabbies for us to try. That’s very kind of him. Can’t wait to return, big thanks Justin and to his wife for making us so welcome.

We loved camping at clearview farm, the views were amazing & the family are lovely. There is something special about being out in the open. My daughter loved being around the sheep & horses. We will definitely be back. Thank you again for an amazing stay
