Beautiful quiet little spot on the country side. Loved how close we were to Childers Cove for those refreshing morning swims and the sunsets were amazing. Will definitely stay again when passing through.

Thankyou for allowing us to stay on your farm. The front paddock was mowed nice and low, area was peaceful and quiet, and no lights to keep you awake at night

Loved the proximity to Childers Cove and Warrnambool. A quiet farm setting with a large grass area with lots of space between campers. However, it lacks settler from the wind and had lots of flies on our summer time visit.

We are from WA so have stayed at many low cost sites. So we are comparing with others.
Booking process was a pain.
The paddock setup was fine.
We free camp, donation camp and camp self contained as we did here. Compared to other sites it offered nothing, apart from somewhere to park and some mowing. We don’t need a toilet but surely that is a basic facility to expect. I expect peeing during the night is as the cows do.
In essence, for us with a self contained setup, with toilet, water, rubbish taken care of, it was expensive by a long shot. Many other facilities with one or two assets, services or facilities, on busy tourist routes are $10-$15 per night.
But really, many thanks for making your place available, good luck going forward.
PS I object to paying booking fees, and seeing how much they take from the proceeds

Enjoyed our stay at The Cove Stopover, though unsure about whether we were in the correct site. Not too far off The Great Ocean Road, which was very handy.
Caitlin sent a lovely, welcoming email encouraging us to visit Timboon, which we absolutely loved!

This is a beautiful little spot in the countryside. The only downside is the no campfires rule. Owners sent us a detailed message with instructions on how to find the property. Would stay here again.

Look… Was it horrible? No. But, was it great? Also no.
We just needed somewhere safe to sleep for one night and it did the job.
It’s a little bit stinky, but that’s to be expected when you’re surrounded by cattle farms and the ground isn’t very level which makes it hard parking a van. Other than that for one night it’s fine, better than paying $70 a night at a caravan park.
Would I pay close to $39 to park there again, if I had other options? Probably not. It’s pretty expensive for what it is. We have stayed at much nicer farm stays for $10-$20 a night.

Was a nice camp spot no bathroom which wasn’t a problem there is public toilets not far beside the petrol station , dogs nearby were barking throughout the night but not unexpected as it’s near farm land , would definitely be back

Nice little stopover as the name suggests if your looking to go great ocean Road at the start from west to east or at the end from east to west. Alpacas and the cows was a nice touch to the visit alongside the beautiful sunset over the land

Quiet and clean campground. It could be a go
to if you need to setup somewhere between Peterborough and warrnambool.
Can be quite windy sometimes as it is an open land so be mindful of that.

I arrived and realised I'd made a choice that wasn't right for me. It's fine if you want to be off-grid and get back to nature. Also, being in a field next to livestock isn't great. There were a lot of flies. So, I didn't stay. I found somewhere else for the night.

Total rip-off!! I paid almost $40 to sleep in someone's front yard with no facilities. No toilet, drinking water, bins, showers etc. Nothing but a roadside patch of grass in a front yard. I slept terribly because all through the night I woke up to the neighbours dogs barking at all hours, cows mooing all night, cars driving past only 15m from where I was camped & then in the morning all I could smell was a horrible stench of cow poo. A horrible experience while eating breakfast experience! I seriously regret that for just $6 more I could have booked a riverside camp at Port Campbell caravan park with all the facilities!! When I told the owner that I felt ripped off and asked for a refund they refused and told me that there's lots of people who love camping in those 'farm-like' conditions, being woken up at all hours of the night by dogs & cows & cars and the horrible stench of cow poo all morning. They clearly only cared about the money they got out of me, not my actual experience!!

Hosts are adorable. Very welcoming and accommodating of our big RV. Open farmland - very natural and beautiful. Even treated to an electrical storm in the distance - stunning TV for the night! Thank you.

Open paddock close to Warrnambool and certain attractions. We arrived on an extremely windy miserable day. There is no protection from the howling wind so ended up being a pretty miserable night. The flies were extreme, even on a windy day. Nice a for a stopover on a decent day I’d say.
