Redbank farm has been home to five generations of Superfine Merino wool Farmers. The charming homestead is set on 1000 acres of rolling hills, lush trees, and dams that offer plentiful grazing to sheep and cattle. Metcalfe's rural landscape still remains largely untouched, giving a real country escape feeling, enjoy plenty of freedom and fresh air, filled with wildlife and scenic adventures to enjoy, like the stunning cascades just up the road or hill hike at sunset Redbank offers sites across 200 acres of camping land, SITE 1 MAINCAMP suited to campers wanting to be super close to the toilet, rustic showers, bbq hut , and farm play area . It's a major hit with the kids making it a popular spot for families. SITE 2 paddock sites still within walking distance to loo and shower but well spread out to provide guests with there own space. More Suculed gain more privacy with our secluded sites more suited to self-sufficient campers , or those who don't mind a small hike or short drive to facilities. #All sites on Redbank have access to one of our hot outdoor showers and either a flush toilet,compost toilet, porta loo #Fire pits at all sites Gas bbq hut. #We are a no trace camp ground and ask you to take all waste with you when you leave. #Dogs are permitted in camps but must be kept on a leash to protect our livestock. Redbank is a working Farm and you will likely see or hear evidence of this during your stay, but we are very considerate of our campers and have had a wonderful experience sharing our land so far and had very happy campers. BEYOND REDBANK156 Campers will find many more attractions in the area, Great spots for hiking, swimming, fishing or just straight up relaxing in the serenity. TRUPENS waterfalls are close by CASCADES and the Coliban River runs through Metcalfe AND EPPOLOCK just up the road. A short drive of 10-15min in all directions will take you to one of the funky little historic towns Kyneton, Castlemaine, Redesdale, and Malmsbury, and another 15 mins on to Daylesford and Trentham all filled with brilliant restaurants, cafes, vineyards, vibrant retail and market scene. What more could you possibly need for a great getaway?

Redbank has 200 acres of available land with 3 areas for our campers. MAINCAMP CAMPGROUND can accommodate up to 4 groups of campers with close access to Playground barbecue facilities, outdoor dunny and outdoor shower. This area allow easy access for 2WD and flat grassy land for caravans, motorhomes, and tents. Site. 2 Offers 4 more spacious sites well distanced making them a little further away, but within walking distance to facilities but providing more privacy and area. Site 3 3 Seclded site areas, purfect for self-sufficient camping , or those comfortable with a short drive or stroll to facilities. Every campsite has access to a bathroom some more rustic than others, but all provide hot shower and flush toilet, Redbank has an outdoor barbecue area with dining seatting and sink for dish washing ,another area is camp kitchen with fridge freezer, microwave, kettle and power points for charge ups. Rubbish is to be taken with with you when you go. Dogs are permitted in camps but must be on leash to protect our livestock.

Amazing setting. Crystal has clearly put a lot of work into each campsite. Resbank Farm is full of whimsy and has everything you need for a fun and relaxing stay!

We had a great stay at Redbank156. We were a group of 9 with 5 tents and had an abundance of space on our site to spread ourselves around. There were amazing landcape views from our every direction and we thoroughly enjoyed watching the sunset each night. Crystal provided campfire wood ($30 per bundle) with an option to supply more with just message/phone call. Very peaceful campsite. Highly recommend for any family or group of friends to stay.

We loved this place! Crystal was super friendly. Facilities great. Kids loved the playground & meeting Betsy the cow & Remy & their lamb siblings! Very handy to be able to hire a table & chairs, and the fire pit & shade cloth were great. Just the right distance from Melbourne (& easy to find). We’d return in a heartbeat.

Our Camping and Off-Road Group stayed at Redbank Farm, it was great - we had 9 vehicles and 13 people, there was plenty of room, and we had a portaloo nearby. We are pretty self-sufficient campers so it was perfect, in a quiet corner of the farm in a flat, green, clean paddock. Crystal was great and brough us firewood for purchase and there was a large dedicated firepit. Crystal was super clear with all communications and super friendly to boot! We will be back.

Had the most amazing 2 nights camping at Redbank156! Despite the chilly winter conditions, we had an absolute blast! Crystal ensured our site was stocked up with firewood ready for our camp-fire! Our German shepherd had the best time having a huge amount of fenced in secure space so that he could run around exploring! Having access to the multi-purpose camp-fire kitchen was also really useful so that we could wash our dishes. The scenery was so tranquil despite only being less than an hour from hour, it was a beautiful much needed break and we will definitely be back! Would highly recommend this site for small or large groups and families-there is so many fun play spaces available for kids!!! Thanks again guys!!!

Second visit at Redbank! Crystal is great and goes above and beyond each time. We got to bottle feed 9 day old little lambs! The location is amazing and you feel completely alone. There’s a winery just down the road however was closed this time. We will need to come back for a third visit to try the wines! 🤣

I bloody love Redbank!! I've stayed twice now, and both times have been absolutely brilliant. Crystal is an absolute legend—so accommodating, responsive, and kind, which just makes the whole experience even better. We were melting over the weekend with no marquee for shade, and Crystal swooped in like a lifesaver, bringing one down for us. Absolute hero move! The kids had a blast running around safely, and there’s so much space that you couldn’t possibly bother anyone, no matter how loud the music or drink chats got. The dogs? Best. Time. Ever. Highly recommend, and I’ll be back again and again!

Had such an awesome stay here. Absolutely gorgeous property. The pitched tents were awesome, the full camping experience without the set up and pack down. Everything you could need was in the cabin. Amenities were clean and within walking distance. We did the hike up the hill at sunrise and it was lovely. Would 100% recommend staying here.
