Pappins Paddock
Rob and Ann are exceptional hosts who go above and beyond to make your stay special. Rob greets you on arrival and, if you have kids, even offers a lovely experience feeding the cows — which our daughter absolutely loved.
The paddock itself is beautiful: perfectly flat with stunning gum trees lining each side, making it peaceful and picturesque. We stayed a full week and experienced everything from misty foggy mornings to a full moon rising over the trees and even some rainy days that made the property feel even more magical.
Only 15–20 minutes from town, it’s the perfect base to relax, unwind, and explore the surrounding areas.
We’d absolutely stay again and next time, we’d stay even longer.

Peace and quiet, close to Warrnambool if needed. Rob is very hospitable and it’s lovely to chat with him about the farmland and steers. I loved this paddock.

Very friendly hosts Rob came down to see us to make sure everything was fine. Nice peaceful location only 15 mins out of Warrnambool. Rob has planted a lot of native trees around the camp area & they will be fantastic once there established

Pappins Paddock
We enjoyed using Pappins Paddock as a base camp to explore Port Fairy to the Twelve Apostles. The area was flat and peaceful, and was greated by the friendly cows when we went for a walk around the paddock.
Great spot to stay!!!

Great Spot!
Nice and close to see the sights yet far enough away it is quite and relaxed.
Rob is a very welcoming host. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights here and would absolutely stay again.

We stayed for 6 nights and loved it. Great location, close to Warrnambool and Port Fairy. Rob was lovely and very welcoming. There’s a nice, flat, large paddock to park on and the property is very well kept. A great spot overall — we’ll definitely stay again.

We had such a lovely and peaceful stay at Rob’s. Very quiet, only the occasional birdsong and cows. Stayed 3 nights, was a great location to explore the surrounding areas. Rob was a wonderful host, he gave us some great tips plane to see and places to eat, he was really friendly and very hospitable. Would absolutely recommend staying here, and hope to stay again if we’re in the area.

The paddock is just a short drive from Warrnambool, a very convenient and beautiful spot. We car/tent camped along side a few other guests. There is a good tree line that helps protect from the wind which was nice. The hosts were very friendly and greeted us on arrival.

It was great to return here and see the changes made since our last visit. The entrance is more clearly defined and grass was (almost) manicured, with more to come.
Rob, as before, was welcoming and helpful with local knowledge.

Rob & Ann's paddock is perfect for those looking to explore Warrnambool and surrounds. Loads of space and conveniently located. We only planned on staying 1 night, ended up staying 3.

Great spot with heaps of room. We were here in peak Great Ocean Road season and used it as our base to visit the western half of the road. So much better than being cramped in one of caravan parks that charge crazy prices during this time.
Campground is clearly marked with “Pappins Paddock” on the gate.

The setting was very beautiful and peaceful. Rob called to check we were clear on directions and give advice on the local area which was kind of him. Would stay again!

We stayed at Pappins Paddock with our Van for 3 nights.. Great spot was totally perfect for us and only a 10 minute drive to Warnambool. Huge private property to set up camp wherever you like, there was a couple of others but so far away wouldn't even know they were there. Rob the host is a very nice guy and easy going. Super easy to find the property and entrance gate. Much better option staying at Pappins Paddock than the chaos and clutter of a caravan park!!

I loved my stay here at Robs farm! Could choose anywhere on the large property. Great for any setup. I had a rooftop tent and it was perfect! Great sunset, very quiet! Got to feed the steers in the morning ! THANKS Rob! See you next time
