Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Our property provides a spacious paddock area suitable for parking your caravan or truck, as well as camping. It offers easy access to Lancefield, a charming town where you can find a pub, bakery, brewery, and more. Lancefield also serves as a transit hub, offering bus services to Sunbury and Melbourne. The drive to Melbourne takes approximately 45 minutes. If you need a paddock for your horses, we can arrange that as well. For everyone's safety, please ensure that dogs are kept on a lead at all times, as there are horses and farms in the vicinity. Please no fires unless discussed and cigarettes butts must not be left. The area boasts excellent walking and bike trails for outdoor enthusiasts. Please note that you should be self-contained with your own power source and toilet/shower facilities if required. Access to the property is via McIntosh Lane, located 300 meters off the Lancefield-Kilmore Road in Lancefield. We have a drive around access area that is able to handle the size of a bus or truck. Camping can be off any area, the photos shown are of what is availble directly from the entrance. The dirt road to the entrance off the main tar sealed road is roughly 100 metres. There is public transport to Melbourne via bus or the train station is a 20 minute drive. Melbourne is a 50 minute drive. Lancefield is a 7 minute walk, where the bus stop is, pub, brewery, bakery, IGA, hairdressers, doctors, hardware store, cafes, providore, post office, fuel, local pool, lovely park and other various shops. Plenty of quiet dirt roads to walk or ride a bike and a walking/bike trail that takes you to Romsey, 8 klm. There is also an equestrian indoor 5 minutes away for those who may have horses. You need to be self sufficient with water and amenities and if you have a dog it will need to stay on a lead whilst on the property as horses and farms surround the area.
