**NOTE: Land is currently under clean up after the storms. Please send me a msg prior to booking to discuss** 5 acres of land in a quiet part of town, just 10mins from Churchil, and only 90mins from Melbourne CBD. The site has a clearing at the top of the hill perfect for camping, and plenty of space with easy access for caravans. But you will be sharing with 2 friendly goats, who are the caretakers of Goat Mountain.**NOTE: The site is still being subjected to clean up after the wild weather in Sept caused signifiant damage. Please get in touch prior to booking to discuss this** If you are looking for a quiet place to pitch a tent or pull up a caravan, then this is the place for you. Ideal for those who are stopping over on a longer trip. For those with caravans and a larger 4WD you can park on the cleared and flat campsite at the top of the block. A couple of notes:  Please ensure that you keep the gate closed after entering the property, otherwise Dottie and Carrie will do a runner! The drive way is unsealed and steep. So if you are bringing a caravan, you will need a vehicle with enough power to pull your way up the drive way. A two wheel drive vehicle is able to pull a caravan up the driveway, but a 4wd is recommended. Feedback from previous campers has been that you have to approach the road crossover from the uphill side, to avoid your caravan drawbar from scraping (and same on exit) but it's very approachable. The goats are complete friendly, and will come up and say hello. They haven't charged at me, but that doesnt mean they won't charge one day. But they are also quite cheeky, and goats being goats like to get up high, ie on top of your car. If they do bother you, they are happily herded into the top pen and locked up for the evening, but if you can please let them out to ensure that they get access to the fresh water near the shed.

Conrad is an absolute legend of a host, he helped answer all my questions and made the group very welcome. The property was perfect for my group of 7, all private space, big campfire, two friendly goats and an amazing view. All our car types made it up the hill, the hut was a great escape from the rain and I truly hope Im back again soon!

Unfortunately the camping site was not as shown in photographs. The sites has scattered building materials over the ground and was ontop of the neighbours house, so there was no feeling of privacy. We were very dissapointed, and decided not to camp there for our long weekend, drove an hour extra to find a nice place to enjoy our time. If the property was tidied up and didn't look like a construction site, it would have been okay. Prehaps it needs to be shown how close the camp site is to the neighbours house. The view was lovely. But definately not the vibe we were after, especially considering the price. Hopefully this can be cleared up and rectified in for future campers.

Thanks for the lively location. Was very windy and not sure if that's due the location or the general weather. But we still had a lovely time. And the resident goats were very friendly.

What a wonderful place! 4 of the friendliest goats greeted us on our arrival and we got to enjoy the view, have a camp fire, and the kids could play with and pat the goats. 1 night wasn't enough to really enjoy and relax at goat Mountain, and we will really miss this place.

Loved the property, amazing views over the Latrobe Valley. The goats were a great addition. We had a lovely relaxing time.

The view was amazing, I almost got to excited when I saw the view. I busted at the sight of snags looking over the hill. I was rubbed the right way by the goats, as they slobbered and chewed on our leftovers. We love the goats super friendly. Would highly recommend, we were supplied firewood free of charge.

Fantastic spot on the top of the hill with breathtaking views, especially at sunset. Parked 2 large caravans comfortably. 2 x 22ft vans a little tricky to pull up the driveway but we managed with a 2wd ford ranger. Smaller vans or larger ones with a 4wd would find it alot easier. Goats were very friendly but generally left us alone. Host was also fantastic and made the experience very easy. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I really enjoyed my stay at Goat Mountain. Firstly, Conrad gave really clear instructions so there was no problem finding my around. The 2 goats that live on premises are super friendly and I didn't have any issues even with my dog with me. The high camping spot gives a great view towards Moe/Churchill. One thing to note that because of the goats around, there are some droppings around - not large piles, just pallets. I personally did not have an issue with it, it's all part of the experience. I had a great time and I hope to be back. Highly recommended 👍
