Sam and Jo’s farm is absolutely amazing. It’s very close to Tyrrell Lake, which made it so convenient for us to return to the campsite and relax after visiting the pink lake. Sam and Jo are incredibly warm and friendly—not the usual distant kind of hospitality. From the moment we booked the campsite, they showed genuine care and thoughtfulness, which made us feel very welcomed.
They have three dogs on the farm, all of them very friendly. One of them, Sunny, is especially cute and lively. During dinner, a black sheep even came over to interact with us, which made the whole experience more fun and memorable.
After dinner, we stepped away from the lights and were completely blown away by the breathtaking Milky Way stretching across the sky—it was truly stunning.

I highly recommend this farm to anyone who comes across it. You can choose it without hesitation—it definitely won’t disappoint. In my opinion, March and April are the best months to visit, with perfect weather for outdoor activities—not too hot and not too cold, making the experience even

We loved camping at the Brady Farm. Sam is an amazing farmer and we learnt so much from him. Sam helped us set up camp and gave us a chair to stargaze and piped water to our site. We were educated about large farming and very grateful to get a ride in Sam’s Ute to see more of the farm. Our time at the farm as peaceful and we loved the friendly goats and sheep. Thank you Sam and your grandson for showing us the farm.

Thank you Jo and Sam for hosting us at your amazing farm! Your warm hospitality really warmed our hearts. We absolutely loved our stay. We booked a powered site and had access to a clean washroom and clean water. We were free to roam the farm and pet the goats. We found many photo-ops wondering the farm. We thoroughly enjoyed the early morning tour of the farm and sunrise watch over lake tyrrel. A must do if visiting. It is quite central and close to Sea Lake and the nearby towns. The silo art trail is a must do and a photographers dream. Spending time with Jo and Sam on their farm, I gained a greater appreciation for our farmers, their families and all the hard work and resilience that goes in to feeding a nation. I highly recommend anyone with kids and pets or just want to wake up to a sunrise over a paddock to visit Brady Farms.

It was a very nice experience to stay at Joey and Sam's Farm. They are very helpful and so nice. We enjoyed every minute under the numerous stars and the nice dog Sunny. Thanks for your hospitality - we felt very comfortable!

Sam and Jo were so welcoming and lovely and went out of their way to greet us, check we had everything and say goodbye. Very clean shower and toilet and a great grassed area for our awning. Highly recommend.

It was great catching up with Jo and Sam who were amazing hosts. We loved the grassed sites and the rugged beauty of the mallee. We wandered into the Nandaly pub enjoying a couple of cold beers with the locals. A terrific stay.

To connect to power & water, you can only access your vehicle from dusty ground, without shade. It was hot & windy when I arrived so I opted to use my own power & water & park on the green grass in the shade instead. The shower & toilet were clean. Thank you Jo for the tour around your lovely garden in the morning & a cuppa & chat before I went on my my way. Lovely country hospitality.

Before we arrived I was concerned about the weather, because the day before was 35deg at another camp without power. So I contacted Sam at Brady Farms with my concerns. Sam told me that the site had power, water , shower and toilet. ( sounded like heaven)!!!
Driving up the driveway (2kms long) passing Paddocks already harvested and a mountain of hay bales and tractors awaiting work the next day.
Jo , Sam’s wife met us at end of the driveway and showed us to our site. Our oasis!!!! Green grass. Especially for our dog. There were goats and sheep to look at. Starry night on the farm. Jo showed me and explained to me the different seeds that were grown on the farm at different times and also memorabilia of previous generations. Sam and Jo were great hosts, we have never experienced life on a working farm.

Brady Farm Stay
Sam and Jo are very friendly and welcoming hosts. We were super lucky to recieve a free guided walk of the garden and hen house from the granddaughter. The flushing toilet and hot shower are clean and convenient. Hipcamping on a farm is a great way we can support our primary producers and small rural communities. We took a short drive into town and had dinner at the community owned pub. Good country hospitality all round, no pretentious bullshit here.

A heartfelt thank you to Sam and Jo, who made our tent camping stay feel not like a trip, but like coming home. The site has both water and power, plus a function room with air conditioning where you can comfortably eat indoors if the weather turns bad. The bathroom is spotless and conveniently located right next to your site.
We were also treated to a bonus farm tour seeing a tractor or a harvester worth as much as a house in Melbourne was such an experience! Jo’s fresh strawberry and milk were the sweetest touches, reminding me of my grandparents and their kindness.
In a nutshell, this was the best of the best camping trips we’ve ever had. Thank you, Sam and Jo for everything!

Jo and Sam made us very welcome at their farm, as did the farm dogs, including Sonny and Cher.
They have a nice grassed area for vans to park next to and relax on, with a bathroom and shower adjacent.
After weeks in caravan parks, it was so quiet and peaceful to stay here and the stars at night were incredible.
Being only several kms from Nandaly town we headed to the community run Nandaly pub, open from 5 each evening for an excellent meal.
The farm is close to Tyrrell lake, a vast pink salt lake with excellent viewing facilities, plus sky couches to view the stars at night if you're keen.
The town of Sea Lake is just down the road from Tyrrell lake with several excellent cafes, a community run Pub and excellent Silo art and murals. Check out the 1949 Ford in the original styled Ford dealership on the main street.

Absolutely LOVED our night at Brady Farms. Our hosts were so welcoming and kind and we had so much fun playing with their dogs and learning all about their beautiful property. Wish we could have stayed longer! Wonderful and picturesque location and access to power was great for what we needed for our camper. Toilet and shower facilities provided were fabulous and clean! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We loved camping at the farm, Sam and Jo are so warm and welcoming. We enjoyed walking the farm viewing the crops, the animals, silos and machinery. Their friendly dogs were an added bonus. We used their farm as a base for a bit of adventure, we took trips to nearby Lake Tyrell and Snowdrift.

We had an absolutely amazing time staying at the farm. Sam and Jo were just amazing hosts. The kids and our two dogs had a blast running around with their three dogs. The kids (mainly myself) loved looking at all the farm machinery and the crops.

Fantastic stay, we only stayed overnight but you could easily stay a few days. Beautiful property and super friendly hosts and dogs 😃. Would definitely be back at some stage.

This was a great stay at the farm, host’s were great. Great shower and toilet facilities and nearby Nandaly Hotel is a great little spot for a drink and food. This is a large working farm with grain, sheep and cattle. Great spot for stop over as about 4 1/2 hrs from Melbourne.

Sam and Jo were fantastic hosts for our family, especially for our farm loving boy. They were very welcoming and gave us the grand tour of the farm to give an experience our kids will treasure for a very long time. We had a wonderful stay despite the bleak weather.
Sam and Jo were fantastic hospitable hosts - having a nice warm kitchen and indoor area available was amazing and ensured that we had somewhere warm to relax and enjoy our meals.
Our kids loved the farm animals and machinery and it was a fantastic base to go and explore places like Lake Tyrrell.
It’s definitely on our list of places to visit again.

The family are lovely and the spot is clean with access to a bathroom and a kitchen/seating area. Its about 30mins from Lake Tyrell viewing area on a farm with farm animals, which would be fun for exploring.

The farm is a working farm and watched the sewing of the fields whilst sitting by a fire and enjoying the sunset.
The use of a fully equiped very clean bathroom was a bonus and extremely convenient .
Jo and Sam were very lovely and the communication very reliable
