Only a short drive to the King Valley wine region, Brookfield Maze and The Alpine National Park where you can enjoy swimming, kayaking, rafting or wining and dining. Blackwood is a traditional log cabin nestled in the bush in North East Victoria. Set on the banks of the 15 Mile Creek it is the perfect place to escape the busy life and settle into a truly unique location. Only a short drive to the King Valley wine region, Brookfield Maze and The Alpine National Park. Fully self contained, the cabin offers guests a camping style experience with some of the comforts of home. There is plenty of room to park a car if you are travelling through. The cabin sleeps 4 with a set of single bunk beds and a double bed. It has a small bar fridge, well equipped kitchen and open fire place and BBQ. Blackwood Cabin
Blackwood cabin is in such a beautiful spot, it was so peaceful to listen to the nearby river and birds. The cabin is very cosy with the fireplace inside and very well appointed. It was a lovely place to spend a weekend and relax and visit neighbouring towns for dinner and sightseeing. Lovely and welcoming hosts, thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

Such a great weekend away. Ann & Geoff couldn’t have been better hosts. Beds were so comfortable, fires were warm & it was an easy way to spend a couple of nights away

Ann & Geoff were the most lovely hosts, very friendly and accommodating. The cabin was great, little outdoor show & toilet, nice firepit and hammock. Visited the hedge maze 5 mins up the road & the kids loved it, good coffee too. Thanks Ann & Geoff, we’ll be back.

Delightful stay for our family at Blackwood Cabin. The creek was a big hit with the kids, the cabin was comfortable and we loved having our meals outside in the beautiful garden. Was the perfect escape from the rat race that we needed.

It’s in a beautiful spot with plenty of bird life, a small stream only 200 meters away and a well presented log cabin with an open fire pit out the front. Minimal phone coverage but that suited us getting away for some chill time.

3 nights in Geoff and Ann's cabin was a fantastic time away with our two children. We loved it and we are already contemplating a return visit. Very rustic, private and comfortable. Thanks Geoff and Ann.

My kids and I had a wonderful time, yet again, at Blackwood cabin. The evenings were beautiful, kookaburras, campfire and boardgames. Reading in the hammock, playing in the creek. Just perfect. Thanks again to Ann and Geoff.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Blackwood Cabin. The cabin felt so welcoming and comfortable and had everything we needed and the setting was just beautiful with the creek nearby. Highlights were the fire pit, hammock and the nearby maze. Ann and Geoff were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed.

We loved out stay at Blackwood - the perfect little cabin. Ann and Geoff make such great hosts and there were so many lovely little touches! Perfect verandah with comfy couch and hammock in which to relax. Looking forward to going back one day!

Overall the property was well maintained. The property is very remote and there is nothing to do on the property or nearby and this made travel to and from activities harder than expected.

We loved staying at Blackwood Cabin. It was set up perfectly for our kids (4 and 6) and 2 dogs. The creek was a blessing in the heat, and the kids loved the fire pit. We can't wait to go back. Highly recommend.

Our stay at Blackwood Cabin was very comfortable and it had everything we needed for a relaxing 5 nights. The location is lovely and Ann and Geoff are welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed. We highly recommend Blackwood Cabin.

This log cabin exceeded our expectations!! It’s private, set amounts tall trees and has everything you need for a private getaway. Our kids loved exploring the property and nearby school camp grounds. Brookfield Maze is just down the road and has a great cafe (delicious Gluten Free friendly food) and plenty of outdoor activities and games for children.

Amazing little property with fantastic hosts and an adorable little dog Lucy. Beds are super comfortable. The shower gets super hot. Unique little property. Woke up to the sounds of nature. Everything supplied that we needed. BBQ seemed brand new. Will certainly return.

Blackwood Cabin was a wonderful escape. Lovely setting, location and property. The cabin had everything you could need, very comfortable and quaint. Ann & Geoff were great and had every last detail set up perfectly for our arrival.

We loved the rustic old world charm of Blackwood cabin. Our hosts had everything in ship-shape order with all those little extras provided. The outdoor campfire was delightful under a star filled sky. We hope to be back before too long.

Blackwood Cabin
We loved the Cabin. We booked this a month ago as work and life just got a bit much. This break was what we needed. We were nestled amongst nature and switched off completely from the outside (no phone reception made it easier). There is so much to explore and admire the beauty of this landscape and rich history. Geoff and Ann were welcoming and even let us try some of their homemade wine and gin. Look forward to coming back again soon!
