We welcome you to come enjoy the beautiful outdoors and dark sky on a scenic 110 acre ranch in the Texas Hill Country. Our family has lived and cared for this unique property since 1976 and we are still here today. We are conveniently located in Blanco, Texas less that 50 miles from either San Antonio or Austin and in the heart of the Texas wine country. Our campsites are next to a spring feed tributary creek which flows year around feeding into the Blanco River just a few miles away or hillside with amazing views of the river valley. You will enjoy the babbling creek, miles of hiking and biking trails, cooling off in the creek, scenic hilltop views, solitude, bold sunrises and sunsets, and a brilliant night sky. We have numerous old growth hardwood trees including Live Oaks, Spanish oaks, Elm, Escarpment Cherry, Black walnut, and Ashe Juniper (cedar) one of which has the largest circumference in Texas. We have a wide selection of native and migratory wildlife that calls this place home including white tail deer, wild turkeys, foxes, bobcats, jack rabbits, road runners, seasonal songbirds and butterflies. We are just minutes away from Blanco State Park and a short drive to Pedernales Falls or Guadalupe River State

Blasingame Creek Camp
Y’all. I have camp at a lot of hipcamps. This one might take the cake for my favorite. It was wonderfully secluded and the host was accommodating and flexible in a way that I really appreciate it. The land was beautiful and easy to get to. This was exactly what I was looking for and what I needed and I’m also thankful I chose it for my stay. I will be coming back for sure.

Live Oak Vista Campsite
Excellent little slice of solitude out in the Texas Hill Country. The few sites that are on the property are spread far enough apart that you will forget there are other campers out there with you. Great trails to hike, along with a beautiful 360 view up atop a hill. William is an excellent host, even offering us access to any of his spare camping gear if we had forgotten any at home. Cant recommend this place enough! Everything we wanted and more!

Sunset Hill Bell Tent
We loved glamping at the bell tent! Accommodations were very cozy and the campsite was well thought out. Enough space to have privacy and for the kiddo to play. We enjoyed walking the trails, seeing the sunset and sunrise, stargazing, and Bill’s ATV tour of the ranch!

Sunset Hill Bell Tent
Perfect Getaway!
This place is a gem! The tent was so much easier than pitching my own. It was spacious enough for a queen sized air mattress. It was just myself and my dog so there was a ton of extra space! The sunset was spectacular and the incredibly clear skies at night made the amount of stars you can see unbelievable! Will took me out to see a HUGE, old ash juniper and we chatted about his chickens. He provided awesome history of the property and was so easy to talk to! A site like this and a host as hospitable and well-prepared as Will is, is hard to come by! Will 1000% be back!

Blasingame Creek Camp
BEWARE: Misleading and fake photos
We had a terrible experience! Nothing was as described. After reading the positive feedback by other campers, I confidently booked not knowing what I was getting into. There was no flowing creek as described in the listing or photos. That was sort of the selling point for us and we didn’t even get to experience that. But the worst for us was that the campsites DO NOT ACCOMMODATE a Class A Motorhome as described in the listing either. WE DIDN’T EVEN GET PLACED ON THE SITE WE RESERVED AND WERE FORCED TO DOWNGRADE AT THE SAME PRICE because, again, it did not accommodate as described. The dirt roads in the property are DANGEROUS for a Motorhome and the owner KNOWS ABOUT THIS, so instead he just moves you to a cheap spot and disregards what you think you actually reserved. Our Motorhome’s steps were damaged because the owner had us drive over tall grass because, again, the site DOES NOT accommodate Class A Motorhome’s and we could fit through the entrance of the site. Very misleading. Very dangerous. And NOT WORTH the drive out to the middle of nowhere on your Motorhome. Finally, the owner of the property does laps around the land while you’re trying to enjoy some privacy and really takes away from the “camping” experience. If you’re looking for privacy, DO NOT BOOK. Save your Motorhome. Shoot… save your vehicles in general. This place is NOT AT ALL what it seems.

Lots of hiking on the property
I hiked the property and was rewarded with deer and several species of birds. The view atop the hill is good. Bring a covering (large umbrella) if you want to stay there awhile.

Blasingame Creek Camp
Great camping experience on beautiful land. We stayed at Blasingame Creek Camp; the site was spacious with nice tree cover and the included table was very convenient. We enjoyed hiking the trails and riverbeds on the property and hearing the roosters crow in the morning! Our host Bill was responsive and helpful too. We knew this going in, but the only real hitch was the lack of a toilet - prepare to pack extra bags for a hands-on outhouse. Overall, it was a peaceful, excellent stay

Beautiful spot to camp. I didn't get to explore the entire property but what I saw was so nice. Beautiful sunset and sunrise over hillsides. Its a quite private and quiet; I was the only person camping that night. Comfortable pairs of chairs and lounge chairs to relax in. Sorry I only spent one night there.

Sunset Hill Bell Tent
Good mix of roughness and amenities. I liked that they had some trails on the property and provided a trail map. We went with three pre-teens who usually complain about everything but even they loved it and are already asking to go back. The host was helpful, the rules were reasonable. The tent was big enough for 2 adults and 3 kids. The campsite was clean. It is as advertised.

Sunset Hill Bell Tent
The Bell Tent on Bill's land was just perfect for our weekend family camping trip. Cell service was spotty but that wasn't We important because there was much more to enjoy. We enjoyed gorgeous sunsets, sunrise breakfasts followed by a nice 3 mile walk around the property. We took a day trip to cool down and swim at Blanco State Park and an evening trip to Old Tunnel State Park to see the amazing Freetail bat emergence. It was such a gift for Bill to share his wonderful property with us.

Absolutely beautiful!
A wonderful campsite with wonderful views. The tent itself is very roomy and tall, we fit two full size air mattress inside. There are other camp sites but they're far away from eachother and are very secluded. Lots of land to explore and trails to hike and during the sunset you can hike all the way to the top of the hill and watch the sky turn. Would absolutely recommend to a friend and would come back as well. William was very friendly and responsive. Overall a 10/10 location and trip.
