🌿 Limestone Valley – Farmstay Camping on the Edge of Mole Creek Welcome to Limestone Valley, a peaceful farmstay right on the border of Mole Creek township — where the country meets convenience. Set on our working Red Wagyu cattle farm, the campsites overlook open paddocks, rolling limestone hills, and a clear country creek where platypus can often be spotted at dawn or dusk. It’s a true slice of rural Tasmania, yet just minutes from everything you need. The township of Mole Creek — with a pub, restaurant, supermarket, takeaway, and fuel station — is within easy reach, and public toilets are available there for campers’ use. We welcome groups and multiple van bookings, and our sites are large enough to accommodate a few vans comfortably. Local attractions include the Mole Creek Caves, Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary, Alum Cliffs, Westmorland Falls, and even Walls of Jerusalem National Park for those keen to explore further. Come and unwind among the pastures, watch the sunset over the mountains, and enjoy Tasmania’s clear, starry skies. Limestone Valley — relaxed farm camping with a touch of country charm.

Such a great spot not too far from Launceston. Extremely peaceful to camp next to flowing water with snow capped mountains in the background. We will be back again.

Beautiful, peaceful setting. Our little dog had lots to sniff, very sleepy boy at the end of each day. Great base to explore surrounding areas. Will definitely stay again.

What a great spot several hundred meters from the road right on a beautiful prehistoric river with loads of privacy all by ourselves. We parked our 21” van alongside the vacant farmers setup facing the creek and vegged out for a few days with the family and dogs. The views back on the Western Tiers are also stunning and made sunrise/sunset a great time to be outside. I’m surprised this is not more popular with close access so many small towns, National Parks and even Tasmazia. Would return!

This camp was peaceful, beautiful and thoroughly enjoyable. A lovely view of the creek from our caravan. Adam was friendly and helpful and I loved his dogs. Highly recommend this spot.

Great private spot! Beautiful scenery and seen the resident platypus. We had 3 big frost and beautiful days after! We will definitely go back.

Really nice cosy spot, right next to a creek and even has a picnic table set up for you. Owner is very nice and welcoming and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay a night
