Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.
Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
A slice of Bruny Island, perfectly situated adjacent to the Alonnah tennis court and opposite the Alonnah Oval and skate park—there is plenty to do. The site itself is fully fenced and offers glimpses of water views. There is a pontoon and boat ramp nearby in Alonnah for swimming, the pub is within walking distance, and the location is ideal for exploring the island. The property is also close to public toilets and BBQ facilities. We currently have four friendly sheep on the property. We are new to hosting and are gauging interest before deciding whether to keep them on site. We are flexible with the number of people and vehicles, but please message us for more information.The main site is only accessible in the drier months. Slightly sloped terrain. Views of water in Alonnah. Tennis court and oval outside front gate. A playground and BBQ area 100m from gate. Walking distance to pub and Alonnah beach. Extra vehicles can be discussed. Currently have sheep in paddock but may move these pending interest.
