Mt Eba Station is a working historical property rich in both history and beauty. Currently running Merino sheep and cattle, it’s also home to an abundance of native wildlife. Owned by the Cousins and Whittlesea families since 2015, we’re excited to offer tourists the opportunity to visit and enjoy this unique destination, situated in the South Australian outback and at the geographical centre of SA. It’s perfectly located just off the Stuart Highway, with 43 km of excellent off-road access to the homestead, where you can camp, caravan, or stay in one of our single air-conditioned rooms. This pastoral sheep and cattle station spans 3,370 square kilometres (832,000 acres) and is one of only two places where you can stay between Port Augusta and Coober Pedy. Use Mount Eba as your base for an unforgettable outback adventure in South Australia. Please note: Sites are only open from May to September!

Our camping area has enough room for many caravans and campers. It is in close proximity to the toilets and camp kitchen, and recreation room. There are areas of shady trees & shrubs providing protection from the southerly winds. There is excellent desalination water in showers and also suitable for drinking as well. We also offer exclusive out-of-station camping areas for those who would like to camp out in these secluded areas of peace and tranquility and enjoy the big open spaces and skies above. **Please note that sites are only open from May to September!
