Escape to The River Shed — a peaceful, rustic camping spot set on 14 acres along the Maroochy River, halfway between Coolum Beach and Yandina on the Sunshine Coast. This is where you can slow down, soak in tranquil river views, and truly unwind. Whether you arrive in a caravan, campervan, RV, or tent, you’ll find one of five spacious campsites arranged around a quiet dam. These flat, grassy sites make it easy to set up, park, and relax. At The River Shed, you’ll reconnect with nature. You’ll have walking access to the Maroochy River — perfect for a quiet paddle or a lazy afternoon by the water — and you’re welcome to bring pets, as long as they stay on leash. Campfires are also permitted whenever fire-ban rules allow, letting you enjoy evenings under the stars. This spot is ideal for travelers' looking to unplug. There are no conventional campground amenities — no toilets, showers, or potable water — so guests must be fully self-contained. Think of it as “back-to-basics,” but with beauty, quiet, and space on your side. We have 5 caravan sites in total (2 are powered sites). If you’re after a simple, nature-first camping experience along the Sunshine Coast — peaceful river views, open paddocks, and nights by the fire — The River Shed is just the kind of place that makes you slow down, breathe easy, and truly relax.

Big well kept area. Each site has its own fire pit (too hot to need it!) level sites. Hubby had a go at fishing and only got a cat fish 😄. Easy to find and prompt reply’s to messages. Few mozzies about but to be expected - near a dam, creek and the river.

We had the place to ourselves. Was lovely. Extremely well maintained property. Kids had a great time fishing out the back. Very peaceful around the fire in the evening.

Fantastic property close the coast and hinterland. We stayed here for three nights and would definitely return. Corin was extremely accommodating as a host. Would highly recommend for anyone in the area. Plenty of room for the kids to be kids.

Corin met us on arrival and led us to the site. This is a beautiful location and the grounds are very inviting, well kept and very clean. It is on level grass and well appointed. High recommended and we would definitely stop in again, if we are passing the door. 👌👍

Absolutely beautiful space. Incredibly peaceful and very well maintained. Close to everything you need but far enough away to enjoy the serenity. The communication was exceptional. We will definitely be back.

Unreal spot, Corin was a legend and has a dream property anyone looking for a quick night away or on the way through. Fishing dock, fire pits, plenty of room for any size vans and power available will be back in the future for sure Todd
