Black Lagoon was awesome, massive private campsite, ducks, kangaroos, cows. Started reading a book and completely turned off with no wifi. Sorry we didn’t meet host.

Wash Creek Campsite
We loved this quiet and peaceful bush camp. Surrounded by trees and bird song we had a very relaxing weekend away. This is a spot we hope to return to.

Stan and Lyndal were fantastic hosts who were friendly and very accommodating in sharing their wonderful property with us. We enjoyed the privacy, tranquility and beautiful scenery throughout the property, and loved the rainforest loop walk, the black lagoon and the rainforest creek. The wide-open grassed areas allowed us to have a kick of the footy, and a game of family cricket. Access to water on the property via a hose and tap was a huge plus as we easily filled our jerry cans to top up the caravan, and access to a dump point was nearby at Maleny. Jackie and I, the kids and border collie very much loved our stay, and we will be back again one day soon. Thanks for having us Stan and Lyndal.

Loved our stay at Stanlyn Park. The site on Wash Creek was very private, and such a beautiful spot to relax. It was weird only being an hour from home, yet it felt like we were so far away. Thank you Stan for sharing your property with us, we will be sure to visit with our dogs in future.

Wash Creek Campsite
What a wonderful quiet camp site. It was so nice to just be alone with my family and no other people at all. Lovely little creek to play in. We had an amazing time. Thank you for this little spot in the trees.

Large private campgrounds that were well maintained. Loved the sounds of all the birds that chirped all day long. Campground was well shaded that kept us cool during the heat of the day.

Wash Creek Campsite
Wash Creek Campsite was a peaceful and secluded campsite with abundant birdlife. It was a great location to use as a base to explore the surrounding area. The only slight downside is that it is close to a neighboring property and we could hear them coming and going and talking outside their house..

Camping at Stanlyn Park was an excellent choice as it is a beautiful farm property with only 3 or 4 secluded campsites and total peace and privacy assured. Lovely walks around the property and dams to paddle in. Great for kids.
It also only about 45 mins drive from the Glasshouse Mountains, Australia Zoo and Maleny ets.
We will be back!

Wash Creek Campsite
If you love off grid camping, that is still close to all the local attractions, this spot is fantastic.
Easy 20 minute drive to Beerwah to Australia Zoo, 40 mins to Mountain Bike trails and Big Pineapple for Zip-ling. Free dump point also at Beerwah so only 20 minutes away.
We spent a full day on the property and explored the walking tracks, with glass house mountains views and a lovely rainforest loop walk. Kids loved playing in the creek, watching the cows (especially the little baby cows), and spotting gorgeous wrens, finches and parrots in the trees. All the camp sites available look great as we wandered past.
So great to relax with a fire at night, and cook up Fathers day breakfast.
Big bags of wood also available and happily delivered to camp for us.
Lovely friendly hosts, we were very grateful for our 4 night stay with lovely weather which let us explore and enjoy all of our plans!

Stunning location, semi private site. Would be happy to recommend if the hosts would guarantee the two hunting dogs from the property that terrorised our camp all night and defecated through our site were going to be contained in the future. Really ruined a potentially great experience

Back at Stanlyn Park for round two – and still in love with the place! 🌿
We’ve now stayed at Wash Creek and Platypus Gorge, and each has its own magic – peaceful, private, and surrounded by stunning scenery.
Platypus Gorge was loved by our dogs (3) given just a short walk along the creek found a massive field where they had THE BEST game of wrestling and tag - crazy big field for zoomies 🤣
Stan's family are just wonderful ❤️
