Our 1 acre property is located 10 minutes out of Mareeba - 20 minutes to Atherton Tablelands one hour from Cairns. Mareeba has Cole’s and IGA plus a drive in theatre close to Shep’s Place. You must visit the award winning IGA in Atherton, you will be amazed - for all your grocery and supply needs. We are right next to the Rail Trail, which is great for cycling and walking. Bring your bike and take the Rail Trail into Mareeba or go other way up to Walkamin and beyond.​ E bikes and helmet for hire from owners. We only accommodate one van at a time so there's no overcrowding and you can enjoy your privacy. This campsite is set up not far from main house but far away enough that you have your own space and op privacy. The van spot is close to shed with access to your own bathroom amenities and washing machine plus toaster and kettle plus an air fryer in our mini kitchen. On hot days jump in the pool or laze the day away around the pool. The lovely firepit is as inviting as it looks with great seating available all the way around. Warm your toes at night as you admire the stars above. Owners live on property. Diane and Wayne were so welcoming, the property has everything and more... Full ensuite with washing machine, power (10 amp) and water, swimming pool, privacy and 2 lovely sitting areas if you wish to use them. Very well located just north of Mareeba towards Atherton, its easily accessible to all the Atherton Tablelands highlights - Herberton, Yungaburra, Atherton, Tablelands Waterfalls, Mareeba and Cairns too. Loved our stay, couldn't recommend it enough for couples or singles - its perfect.
