River Run Farm Camping is situated on the banks of the beautiful Mary River within the spectacular Fraser Coast region. The historic Maryborough town centre and the quaint village of Tiaro is right on our doorstep for anything you may have left behind or if you just feel like a country pub meal and a cold beer. We offer large grassy mowed sites both powered and unpowered, river front and tree shaded areas with some unpowered sites having their own fire pits. Fully equipped large camp kitchen with microwave, television, fridge,fire place and BBQ's, large communal firepit great for camp ovens and power points to charge your devices and a Playground for the Kids. We offer the best hot showers with beautifully clean toilets; our amenities even contain a washing machine and a kid’s bathroom with a claw foot bath. A Dump point is located at the front of our property. River Run offers: farm animals, swimming, excellent fresh water Fishing (Bass, Barra, yellow belly, prawn and silver perch), boat ramp, bike track and kayaking on the river is spectacular. River run has an amazing variety of bird life due to the large body of fresh water and pristine habitat creating a great environment for spotting native animals including wallabies, echidna and platypus, which have been sighted at the boat ramp. We are pet friendly too as long as your animals remain on a leash and are under full supervision at all times. River Run is only a short drive away from lots of great experiences, Markets, Mural trail, horse riding, adventure activities, history, museums, Festivals, art and culture that are sure to inspire. Thursday is market day in Marybrough with live music, town tours, great food fruit and veggies. Book a horse riding adventure with Hucknall Horses only 10mins away or drive on up to Hervey Bay and go whale watching or day trip to the incredible Fraser Island or Rainbow Beach. 4wd in one of the many local forestry areas and see the brumby herds. There is so much to see and do on the Fraser Coast. Just so much to see and do.

I loved the camping spot on site 14 at River Run Farm Stay, there was a beautiful view and so much room the kids had so much fun feeding the animals and doing the slide ( of cause the big kids did too) we will definitely be back.

Michelle, the host, was absolutely amazing and made everyone feel welcome from the start. The kids’ activities were fantastic—well-organized, Feeding the animals, and engaging. Our son had an incredible time, made new friends, and didn’t want to leave. It really made the whole camping experience even more special for our family.

The camp itself is great but it is located very close to the Bruce Highway and the north south main railway line. Nightime noise is off the scale. Also the only place to access the Mary River is the boat ramp.

One of the best farm stays we’ve stayed at! Each campsite was spacious, facilities were immaculate and there were plenty of things for the kids to do! The owners went out of their way to organise activities for the kids and they absolutely loved the animal feeding. The property is so well kept We will be back for sure

My family loved camping at River Run Farm. The kids loved feeding the animals, slip and slide and the toad hunt, which was the biggest hit! It was nice and open so they could go biking. My son LOVED the bmx track they had. The communal kitchen area was quite handy to have, it was well stocked for things to use and clean. We will be returning soon!

We loved our weekend away at River Run camping beside the Mary River. So peaceful and relaxing, with lovely clean amenities and heaps for the kids to do. This is our 2nd time here and we just love it; we'll definitely be back!

Quiet park most suited to families with children. Lots of bike areas and a fun playground. Staff are lovely. They take children to visit and feed the animals. Facilities are clean and basic. There is a large kitchen, communal area sitting a few larger groups.

Lovely spacious site, great and very clean amenities. Owner very friendly and helpful. The kids loved feeding the animals and slimming, kayaking and fishing at the river. We will definitely return!

Lovely outlook and well kept grounds. Showers were hot but did run out of water on last day, but we had all showered but then. Swam in river, bank steep from 39 campsite but can be descended in that area with care. Site had firepit. Ground a little uneven so need levellers. Risk from branches falling but trade off for nice shady position. Nice common area and camp kitchen. Only negative is the constant traffic noise/drone from Bruce Highway and the occasional train at night. Found it difficult to get a good sleep.

We had an amazing stay at River Run Camping! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The amenities were clean and well-maintained, which made the whole experience really comfortable. The kids absolutely loved the playground, and the organised activities by the owners were a standout from fun games to animal petting and the slippery slide, there was always something to keep them entertained. It’s clear a lot of thought and care has gone into creating a great experience for families. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend River Run to anyone looking for a fun, relaxed camping getaway!

Large sites, plenty of space. Great showers (hot and good water pressure), really nice host and fun activites for the kods over the school holidays. Will definitely add it to the return list and recommend to friends. Water access at boat ramp was dissappointing though. Too many snags for fishing and not very young child friendly for any water play. But the slip and slide helped the kids get over their disappointment pretty fast!

Great camping spot run by a lovely family. Has toilets, showers, and camp kitchen. Can also swim in the Mary river as it is down from the dam. During school holidays they put on activities for the kids like animal feeding (horses, chickens, pigs, donkeys, cows and bulls.) animal spotlight at night. Great for star viewing.

My husband & I took our 2 sons (13 & 7) in our caravan here for 2 nights & absolutely loved it! We stayed on a site down in the gully, huge site, nice & grassed, lots of shade & it was so peaceful & relaxing. Camp sites aren’t close to others so you have lots of privacy. The amenities were very clean & the showers nice & warm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will definitely be back.

We had a great week at River Run Farm Stay with our daughter and her hubby bringing the 4 grandkids to join us for 4 days. The grandkids loved feeding the animals, the water slip & slide, the animal bingo and painted rock hunting activities which Michelle and her family organised. The playground was a big hit also. The Location is great, minimal construction which is good as you can enjoy nature .The facilities are tidy and I will definitely be a regular at the river front Camping .The only thing that I think will need to be addressed is the lack of privacy around showers .I feel that with kids around one may un intentionally or accidentally expose one’s self when stepping out of shower .It is an uncomfortable thought with kids running around and I feel like wise for the woman’s shower as well .please look into this as I am not the only person that has commented on that .Above all Great work in keeping the area clean so we can enjoy nature .Thank you .

We really enjoyed our week at River Run. We had a powered site and it was large and grassy, toilets and showers in the middle so not a far walk and kept very clean by the lovely Sue. Camp kitchen is large and well stocked with utensils and kettles/toasters etc plus lots of tables and chairs. Kids loved the playground and the games that the host put on. The slip n slide and animal feeding were also a huge hit as was fishing.

What a beautiful spot. So much space for the kids to ride bikes, play on the playground and swim in the river. We were happily surprised by how many activities were run by the camp for the kids. We also loved the size of the sites. Ample space for our two tents and a gazebo, car, brazier and space left. The amenities were also top tier and made our stay much easier. We were in powered site 8 and we think it was the best spot. A little bit of shade, plus nice and close to the amenities. Would recommend this hip camp for sure 👍🏼

We love coming to River Run. Its our second time now and the kids are already asking to come back next year. The amenities are always clean and well kept. The camp kitchen is amazing! The kids bath is absolutely brilliant and a favourite amongst all ages. They have camp activities now which are so fun for everyone. My daughter so desperately wanted to take home all the animals! Especially the baby chickens. Thank you Michelle for being a wonderful host yet again! See you next time!

A great campsite, lots of open space so you're not on top of each other and the toilets/amenities are the best we've had over 8 years of camping. We really loved it here. There were great activities on offer for the kids over the Easter weekend, and the staff were so friendly. The camp kitchen is an excellent facility, and the disco was a huge hit with our group of kids. The only downside to the site is the entry to the river - it's a very narrow entry point so gets extremely busy over peak periods, but it's also steep, and both muddy and rocky, so we either slid back down into the water or cut our feet trying to get out. Unavoidable due to the nature of the landscape (which is beautiful!), but it made it hard to get in and out easily, especially with really young campers. Overall, it's a great campsite for young families.

Great spot for families. Plenty of space to run around and play. Animals and nature kept the kids busy. Extra Easter activities were excellent (waterslide, disco, egg hunt and games). Clean amenities and great camp kitchen. Playground was a great asset.

To good to share the river run camp

Great place for a family vacation and take in some fresh air. Facilities are very well maintained. The showers are great and they have flushing toilets and up keeping is done with a cleaner. Shelly ( Michelle ) is so lovely. They have farm animals great for the kids and a time feeding the animals is in the afternoon. I stayed 3 night’s but booked another night I did not want to go home. Great playground as well for the kids and it’s next to the camp kitchen handy for mum and dad’s to Sit there relaxing and watch the kids play and make memories. Lots of bird life but it can also be very still and you hear nothing. So I reckon it’s a bloody great place and recommend trying it out.
