We had a great time at Site 2. Great views and very private. Short car ride to the facilities. Can get windy but the wind just suddenly stops !. Its worth it for the expansive view. There is some flat ground near the fireplace. The rest of the site is sloped so be aware. Its a big space. Plenty of room for vehicles and multiple tents and swags. The outdoor shower at the stables was awesome. The flushing toilet was very handy too. We took our nespresso machine with us so we plugged it at the shared area and had a coffee then used the facilities then headed back to site. Definitely would recommend for those folks that like the peace and quiet and just want to blob.

Peak Camping!

Peak camping! Such a good spot with unreal views and heaps of space. Having the rainwater tank there was also really handy. We got around most of the property without any dramas, but the one track we weren’t game enough to tackle was the one up to the lookout! It was pretty windy while we were there, which is probably to be expected with how exposed the site is. Definitely worth bringing a windbreaker or even a gazebo wall to make things a bit more comfortable. Overall, awesome spot and we’d definitely stay again.

Such a beautiful campsite! We loved the privacy and that even though there are a few campsites, we didn’t see another person the whole time. The view was incredible everywhere you look. The shower shed was great and showers really warm with a view to enjoy too. Such a beautiful place, we didn’t want to leave and have already booked in again!

Larapinta is a wonderful large property where you will most likely need a 4wd but that is a good thing. Secluded site #4 and lots of beautiful cows around. Will definitely be back.

Site 11 Top Gum - 4WD

This campsite is a must see. It is wonderfully spacious and is on top a hill overlooking the gorgeous valley below. Far away from the nearest camp site, making it very private. There is wide stone fire pit on the site. Its is shaded by gum trees. You will need a 4x4 to access it as the tracks are steep. You can go on long walk along those tracks or do some 4 wheel driving to picturesque bush walks. We will definitely be back.

Site 7 Sundown - 4WD

This was our 2nd trip to Larapinta, it's a really awesome property to relax and unwind on. We will certainly be back one day soon. Camp site 7 was mowed, with a large tree for early morning and late afternoon shade. It's a slightly elevated position with excellent sunset views. The amenities are close enough to walk to but it's a bit of a hill. The site is super private, you will occasionally see another 4wd drive by... but that's about it, you truely do get to unwind here and take in nature without being bothered by other people. It's really awesome. Access for site 7 was on the easy side of 4wd difficulty, but you definitely need a capable 4WD. The track was easy to get up in dry conditions with light/moderate all terrain tyres. Definitely would not recommend the trip in road tyres, especially if it's wet. The property itself is super fun to explore, there's plenty of 4wd tracks from easy to extreme. There's a lot of cows that roam around so you might see them around your site or you might not. The hosts are lovely to deal with. They are helpful, kind, and willing to help you, but in return they expect you follow the rules, of which I think are very fair and reasonable. We will come back again for sure. Awesome spot. Lovely hosts.

Really enjoyed our stay at Larapinta. The cows came to visit on night 1 which was great. The farm tracks are fun to explore and Site 9 has the most amazing views. Toilets provided were clean and functioned well. Highly recommend

Lovely setting & great potential. Validate the exorbitant price a bit by: 1. Clarifying directions to Woody. I spent 0.5 hr trying to figure out where to go in the dark. Messaging & calling the hosts before they called me back& advised to ignore the "No cars beyond this point sign". 2. I arrived after dark expecting hot water. Lights in the property was on but no hot water & no water available near the hot tub. The next morning I discovered the hot water behind the cabin. A small instruction manual in the cabin clarifying how the hot water works & that the hose is required to fill the tub would have made my 1st night more enjoyable. Possibly even 2 pieces of wood for night 1 3. The fridge was filthy. While I expect that at a shared camp kitchen. I do expect a clean fridge at $180/night. It also froze all the food I put in there! I lost a dozen eggs & my salad for the weekend. My wate, juice & bread was frozen solid! 4. A clean bbq to cook on. Ainstruction manual & utensils to clean it in the cabin would be great. 5. While there was dishwashing soap, therewas nothing to wash with only ateel scourers. I had to leave my dirty dishes as I wasnt happy to partially wash them for the next guests! 6. The outdoor bath is amazing although not as private as expected with views of it from the farmhouse t A manual to only fill the tub less than half with hot water and top with cold water would save a lot of water! A few improvements, i can maybe see why I paid $180/n but wont go agai

Site 7 Sundown - 4WD

We had a lovely time at Larapinta! Amenities are well kept (however if you intend on using their kitchen facilities make sure you have washing up stuff cause we forgot and were scrubbing pans with our bare hands 😭) We could see 1 other site from site 7 but still felt very secluded and only saw people when they drove past once. The views are gorgeous and the sunset from site 7 was to die for. Definitely recommend staying at Larapinta!

This was absolutely incredible!! Absolutely 100% recommend. We stayed on site 9 living on the edge, the views were incredible and it was super private. Definitely need a 4WD to get it it though. The outdoor shower near the house was super cool! Will definitely be coming again!!

Such an amazing property! The views are 🤌. Sites are very well spread out, so you know other campers are there, but you're not impacting on each other. Hosts communicate well and instructions are clear and easy to follow to get to your site. I will be back!
