Hillcrest Farm was established in 1876. It's a quiet, spacious and relaxing spot only minutes to Toowoomba where you'll find lots of weekend markets and other attractions. We have an old motor cross track which avid bicycle riders are welcome to try out Lots of bicycle tracks in town. We have a communal fire place but also numerous fire pits We have good quality firewood to purchase Meatstock March 2025 Carnival of Flowers Sept/Oct 2025 We have 20 beautiful acres here, with several acres in the middle and the back of the property ideal for setting up camp. We have 10 water outlets to hook up to. The land is mostly level, with trees scattered throughout, and all areas have lovely farm views. Whether your on the hill with 360-degree views looking over the campfire while watching the sunset or in the paddock, amongst the trees, you will have space to relax We have 30 sheep and 10 head of cattle on the property, and often lots of lambs which can be seen at any time. We now have an Alpacca named Buck who currently fusses over and protects a newborn lamb 17/07/25 We also have 14 antique tractors, and other old farm equipment, which add to the eclectic farm charm. We also have lots of residential wildlife, including kangaroos and plenty of birdlife, such as kookaburras, cockatoos, galahs, finches, Wrens, Willy wagtails, parrots and more. All guests need to be self-sufficient, with their own toilet, shower and power We have generators for hire There are toilets at the park in Wyreema 3k Local shop just up the road for basic essentials and fuel, plus there are great pub meals nearby at the Bull n Barley(sorry no dogs) - 8 minutes drive away. Rudds Pub (dogs ok) great meals. Otherwise, cook at camp by the campfire, watching the sunset. Always something to do around, or just sit and relax. Any requests just ask..

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Hillcrest Farm. Just minutes from Toowoomba, this peaceful 20-acre property is the good blend of rustic charm, wide open space. We arrived; we felt completely at ease. The land is mostly flat, making it easy to set up camp, with plenty of shady spots under the trees or open paddocks with breathtaking 360-degree views. The sunsets are stunning best enjoyed around one of the many fire pits. There’s plenty of space, so even when other campers are around, it still feels private. The central area and rear paddocks are ideal for families or small groups, and there's easy access to water. Definitely, book again

Beautiful outlook from the Hilltop looking down across the paddocks with sheep and neighbouring cattle and horses. Kids love riding their bikes around the old motorbike track. Would recommend this to others.

Great camp site. Easy access, great views, neat and tidy. Quiet at night. Perfect stay for our needs. Loved the sunsets. Close to Toowoomba and all of the attractions.

We loved our three nights camping on the Hilltop site. Beautiful location, clean and well maintained area, potable water and most importantly friendly owners. The bike track and tractor rides to feed the cows and sheep were a huge hit with both the adults and kids! We will always stay here when visiting the Toowoomba area. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hillcrest Farm! The 360° views were breathtaking, especially at sunset, and the friendly farm animals made it even more special. The owners were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. Such a beautiful and relaxing spot to camp – we can’t wait to come back!

We just stayed three nights and thoroughly enjoyed the bird life and the amazing sunsets. Paul and Kerry were fantastic hosts checking in to see if you needed anything along with a good old chat. This is a great little place still close to Toowoomba and surrounding areas. Paul was great with our kids and a couple other families staying, giving the kids a ride in the tractor to feed the cows and sheep and to hold the most fastest chicken I have ever seen.

We had such a wonderful stay at Paul and Kerry’s Hipcamp just out of Toowoomba! The location is peaceful and scenic, making it the perfect spot to unwind. Paul and Kerry went above and beyond to make the experience special from offering tractor rides to letting us feed the sheep and cuddle the cutest little lambs. The campsite itself is well set up with an excellent fire pit area and picnic tables, making it easy to relax and enjoy the outdoors. As a bonus, on our last morning we were treated to the incredible sight of eagles soaring above us such a memorable way to end our stay. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a friendly, welcoming farm stay experience just a couple of hours from Brisbane with a few special touches that make it truly unforgettable.

GREAT STAY! Paul was lovely and brought out fire wood and was lovely. Fed and held Baby lambs born the day we arrived. Unreal. Would definitely recommend!

We recently camped here and although our trip was cut short due to unexpected heavy rain, we were blown away by the kindness and generosity of the owner. paul went out of his way to help us – bringing over a gazebo with walls, fresh towels, and loads of firewood to keep us dry and warm. Unfortunately, the wild weather had other plans, and the wind kept taking the gazebo during the night, so we made the tough decision to pack up early and head home. Despite the weather, the property itself was absolutely stunning – peaceful, well-kept, and full of potential for a perfect getaway. We’ll definitely be back in better weather to experience it properly. The hospitality here is truly unmatched – thank you again for going above and beyond!

Amazing spot! Paul and Kerry were lovely hosts. The kids loved seeing the farm animals and riding on the bike track. We enjoyed the sunset and sunrise on the hill and the fireplace was great too. Thanks! Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely stunning property. Just out of Toowoomba, you fell like you are right put of town. Paul the host was very welcoming, showing us his sheep. Beautifully kept property, plenty of space and even water of you need it. Make this your next stop, you won't be disappointed!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at 1 Hilltop at Hillcrest, hosted by the incredibly warm and welcoming Paul & Kerry, and it was nothing short of outstanding. We were blown away by the breathtaking 360-degree views. Set on an elevated part of the property, the site feels like your own private slice of paradise — perfectly positioned for spectacular sunrises and sunsets. At night, the stars were absolutely stunning with minimal light pollution, making it ideal for stargazing. The hosts have clearly put their heart into this property. They’ve struck the perfect balance between privacy and hospitality. You can tell both he and Kerry genuinely care about creating a great experience for their guests. The site itself was spacious, well-maintained, and thoughtfully laid out, with plenty of flat ground for tents or vehicles. There’s peace and quiet all around — just the sound of the breeze and the occasional bird call. If you’re lucky, you might even spot a few local kangaroos or native birds hopping around. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolute rippa of a spot, not much of a drive from Toowoomba but felt private and secure. Fire pits and firewood were available at the camp, great outback sunset. Host came and said hello on a tractor and was very accomodating, booking was confirmed very quick too so what’s not to like!

Beautiful quiet camping spot on the outskirts of Toowoomba. Paul and Kerry are wonderful down to earth hosts who would do anything for you! Look after their slice of paradise and they'll look after you!! Lots of animals to feed and pet. The baby lambs are so adorable!! Will stay again, 100% recommend!

Beautiful spot!! Paul and Kerry are great hosts. Such nice people. We rocked up late on Friday night and with mates already at our site. We headed straight to site and Paul brought us fired wood the next morning and ran through the farm and what to do in the area. The sunrises and sunsets were stunning everyday. We camped down past the gums right on the fence line, so away from everyone else and had so much room. We got to hold 2 day old lambs and Paul took the kids for a ride in the tractor. Can confirm we will definitely back to Hillcrest.

We had the best time at Hilltop on Hillcrest. The sites were beautiful, and had old rustic farming equipment around. The kids loved exploring while we were camping. Paul also took us on a tractor ride and let us pat the baby lambs. We had the best time and can’t wait to go back.

This site is lovely, very well cared for and the hosts are great. A few fun things for kids like animals, tractors and bike paths which was great. The site was very affordable but there were a lot of other campers in close quarters. I would happily pay double or triple to secure a bigger patch all to myself.

It’s a lovely spot and Kerry and Paul are fabulous hosts. Their communication was clear and they always responded quickly. The property is beautiful and we had a wonderful 6 days. The two main areas have a lot of campers in a smallish area but we were given an area to ourselves so we and our daughters family could be away for others. It was perfect for us, the kids and the dog. Having said the that, the campers on the hill looked like they also had a great time around the communal fire each night. Either option seems great.

It is a nice property. The hosts are great people but wouldn't stay on a long weekend again, too many people for us and beside us we had a dog barking continually which wrecked it for us. Not taking anything away from the property.
