Forest Lodge is a picturesque, private and unique property that can cater to your event's requirements. It is where ‘city meets country’ located in Highfields Queensland, on 5 acres of natural beauty.   Forest Lodge offers exquisite natural settings, including cattle yards, country fields, a rustic farm shed and an endless variety of lush trees that will take your breath away.Forest Lodge is a picturesque, private and unique property that is perfect for a stopover during your travels or a quiet weekend away. It is where ‘city meets country’ located in Highfields Queensland, on 5 acres of natural beauty. Forest Lodge offers exquisite natural settings, including cattle yards, country fields, and a rustic farm shed. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water supply. There is access to a picnic table for meals and wifi. When staying at Forest Lodge you can take advantage of the pool and tennis court or simply enjoy the peace and tranquility of the grounds. Local attractions include the Highfields Pioneer Village; Historic Merringandan Pub; Cooby Dam; Rosalie House Winery and Highfields Falls for hiking as well as many cafes and unique shops. No pets please.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jeff & Kay's land. It was quiet and private from the road... a perfectly safe place to leave the van whilst we did activities in nearby Toowoomba, including visiting the carnival of flowers. We were the only ones there and really enjoyed the solitude.

We come across this Jeff & Kay’s Hipcamp by chance, as the Toowoomba Showgrounds was closed for maintenance and all the caravan parks in Toowoomba had no vacancy for a caravans. It was absolutely perfect for us! It was a nicely mowed area, super quiet and very close to our family who we were visiting on our stay. We will be definitely staying again in the future.

This lovely grassy spot was perfect for a few nights - just 10 minutes drive to our family in Toowoomba. Quiet at night for a peaceful sleep.

Was an easy to find and lovely place to camp, quiet as well. We went to camp for the Meatstock festival and the hosts were easy to communicate with and we were able to drop out swag off before heading out. Clean port-a-loo on site as well which was nice!

Farm atmosphere close to Toowoomba

Great hosts, made us feel welcome and plenty of room in well groomed paddock, close to Toowoomba via some small villages and minor roads or the New England Hiway, on the NW side of city right where we wanted to be, close to our family. Some cattle to look at and lots of walks.

Camping in caravan

The paddock was freshly mowed. There was plenty of room, even if there had been others there at the time. Convenient to Toowoomba CBD. Whilst it was on the edge of urban sprawl it did not feel like it as adjoining properties are quite large. The paddock had a slight slope but nothing a couple of ramps or blocks wouldn’t fix. Finally the hosts daughter met us on arrival and she couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly.

Well located as only short drive from main roads. Good open grassed clearing and easy access in and out of property. Area is on a slight slope, so not quite level but pretty close.
