Fig Tree Camp
We were truly grateful for the warm welcome from Colin, who greeted us as soon as we arrived. The fantastic views, friendly farm animals, and the three loving ponies created a wonderful atmosphere that made our stay so memorable. The level site made our setup a breeze, allowing us to relax and enjoy our time there. We had a fantastic experience and can’t wait for our next visit to explore more of this beautiful haven. Thank you for such a lovely stay at Fig Tree Farm!

If you’re looking for a quiet, off-grid getaway in the North Burnett region, this is it! We stayed for one night and left wanting to stay longer! We will definitely be coming back to enjoy it again. Breathtaking views, friendly animals, clean and well-presented amenities, big open sites with shady trees and designated fire pits, and friendly helpful hosts all awaits you here at Fig Tree Camp.

Our host Colin was absolutely lovely. The property was meticulous, so neat and tidy. Views spectacular. Farm animals so friendly. Had everything you could wish for, for a long stay. Highly recommend 👌

Stunning views and lots of farm animals roaming around that you can even pat them. Colin, the host, is an adorable human being and lovely person to have a chat with. Toilets and hot showers are amazing, super clean.
Lots of site to choose from when not busy, all of them with fire pits.
Would love to come back and we recommend it 100%

Stayed in the couple’s cabin. Absolutely beautiful. Comfy bed. Came with everything you need for cooking on the bbq, cutlery plates even bug spray and chairs. Super impressed. The shower facilities are amazing. The property is stunning. And Colin is so welcoming. Will definitely be back.

Fig Tree Camp was amazing! We were in the couple cabin and it had everything we needed and was super comfortable. The grounds we immaculate and the animals were so much fun.We absolutely can't wait to go back!!

We absolutely adored our stay at Fig Tree Camp! Unreal views, friendly animals coming through to hang out at our site (Pancake the Shetland Pony and the lovely gentleman duck were definitely crowd favourites!), gold mining & a very hospitable host - Col was fantastic, super informative and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Great amenities to top it off, we will 1000% be coming back😄

Can’t ask for more, far enough away to completely switch off but close enough to Gin Gin for all the essentials.
Colin was a great host with good ideas to continually improve what is a great place to stay.
Flushing toilets, hot showers and many animals to say hello too everyday.
Will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone.

Could not recommend this place enough, colin made us feel so welcome and right at home as his own. Hot showers & toilets very clean and maintained, perfect place for tranquility and to escape into the heart of nature, followed by visits by the friendly farms animals saying hello! Absolutely a stunning spot. Well maintained camping area with lots of farm animals abound. Excellent TV and Telstra coverage. Combined with Gold Fossicking Fig Tree Camping is well worth a visit.

Fig tree camp is a spectacular destination to camp , wether you tent it ,or caravan it , great sunsets and sunrises , and miniture horses walk up for a pat at your camp site , Colin the owner is an exceptional host , we felt like we have known him for a very long time , will definitely be back

Perfect place to relax and reset! Camp sites are really well maintained, fire pits are good size and tidy. There are so many activity options that Fig Tree provide, Frisby, biking, kayaking, walking. There are hammocks in the trees and animals to talk to 😬 I loved the 2 pigs, very cute... The geese and horse are quite happy coming to say hello in your camping area which is a little daunting to start with if you bring your fur babies that are not accustomed to such visitors 🤣 out 2 big dogs had a great off leash time, walking, playing ball and swimming in the dam. There are 2 showers and 2 toilets and they are very clean and tidy. Katrina was there to welcome us and Colin came and introduced himself later. Both are extremely helpful and accommodating. We can't wait to find another weekend to come back, see you soon hopefully!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful campsite, and it was an unforgettable experience. The cabin was cozy and well-maintained, offering a perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm. The view from the cabin was simply breathtaking, providing a serene backdrop for a truly relaxing stay.
The host Colin and Katrina were amazing, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights of our stay was the variety of animals on the property. We enjoyed interacting with their horse, geese, chickens, goats and even cute piglets and of course their playful dog! It was a delightful experience. Being off grid, the campsite offered a unique opportunity to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with nature. The facilities were with a short walk from the cabin, clean toilets and showers that added to the overall comfort of our stay. Overall, this campsite provided a perfect escape, combining natural beauty, excellent amenities, and outstanding hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a peaceful retreat.
P.S. if you are into fossicking, you can enjoy the gold mines.

Wonderfully quiet and spacious off-grid campground with heaps of birds, toads and other wildlife to keep you company. The property in itself is worth a day of exploring and the horses are very cute, albeit cheeky at the same time. The showers and toilets are beautifully kept up and make camping much more comfortable! If you have the time, make your way to the scenic lookout in the back, it is worth the walk!

Nice setting and views. Couldn't see toilets or showers anywhere. Need a four wheel drive if fossiking or a 20-25 minute walk. Price at local camping ground a lot more competitive with toilets/showers amenities close by.
