What a beautiful part of the world. Thank you Clair and Andrew for openjng it up for us. Clair and Andrew are amazing hosts. There is nothing to worry about, they have thought of everything. Access is easy, the camping spot beautiful. Truely nature lovers, the farm is great to wander through and the opportunity to enjoy a secluded part of Cedar Creek is very special. We took our doggos and they had the time of their lives.
Do yourself a favour and let Clair prepare a fresh vegetable box with eggs. All from the farm. Sigh, it was hard to leave. But luckily it so close to Brisbane well just have to come back.

Friendly welcome, then left to ourselves. exactly what we were looking for. Nice clean spot between well kept horse paddocks and small creek on nice grass. We were hit by a thunderstorm and hail and were checked via the app if we were alright and invited into shelter if we needed which was a lovely touch.

A peaceful, pet-friendly escape with stunning scenery and a refreshing creek – perfect for a night away when you’re craving nature. Clair and Andrew are welcoming, helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this spot. We’ll definitely be back!
PS make sure you buy the fresh produce and get some eggs. So good.

We had a wonderful, quiet, relaxing and sole restoring camping stay at Clonakilty Farm. So peaceful with lots of different visual aspects to soak up and a variety of settings to explore in if one is so inclined. We really enjoyed watching Kevin (the horse) practising his mustering manoeuvres - I think we were very lucky that our stay coincided with practice day. We would have loved to have seen more of the farm dogs - so well behaved, friendly and full of character. We felt very welcomed on the farm and we had wonder freedom to explore the working property - which is much bigger than I expected. So close to Brisbane (40mins away for us Northsiders) and only 10mins from Samford. We will be back to l the Farm again and again and again in the future. Thanks Clair - see you sooner rather than later.

Another great stay at Clair and Andrew’s farm , great little spot for a quick reset , a dip in the creek and a wander around the amazing grounds.. love the veg and flower patches so many childhood plants !!! See you again soon 🤗

I didn’t personally go to the creek but both of my friends did.
From what they said
“Owners house is actually quite close to the camp site, often came over to see what was going on. Not a whole lot of privacy.”
Firewood that was pre purchased wasn’t there on arrival had to ask for it to come and it came hours later.
The amount of firewood wasn’t enough to really start a bonfire (which is what was said in messages) really needs a kilo measurement or a rough estimate so campers can accurately get as much as they need.
Again I didn’t get to go but the communication between myself and the camp organiser was lovely.

There's not a doubt in my mind we will be back (and soon!) perfect for a quick get away, we stayed one night with our very excited dog, Clair was kind enough to walk me through her garden (which is an absolute dream), the dog and husband enjoysed wandering the creek bed, the sunset view was to die for!

This beautiful spot nestled against the picturesque Cedar Creek was just what we needed for a quick few nights away from our home in Brisbane. We escaped after work and felt like we were hours away. Host were great.

Such a pristine place and yet so close to Brisbane……we absolutely loved our 3 night stay. This property has been very well taken care of and the hosts were incredible. The basket of organic fruit and vegetables, the fresh cut flowers and farm fresh eggs just made the experience perfect!! You can tell the owners are passionate and love their land. We stayed in our camper trailer (self sufficient) with our 2 dog’s and enjoyed our much needed R&R! We will be back for sure.

My stay at Clonakilty Farm was wonderful 👌 Quiet, private and you can hear the creek from your camp. Nothing to do but put a fire on sit back and watch the sun go down. (And chat to the cows)

A wonderfully private campsite on a sprawling and beautiful property - we loved our stay here! The little creek is beautiful and we loved exploring it with the afternoon sun filtering through the trees. Sitting back and watching the cows and horses meander through the paddocks was lovely and just what we needed to disconnect and recharge.
Clair is a great host - very responsive to messages / requests and she met us upon arrival to show us the site and explain the property.
We will definitely be back! Thanks again for having us 🏕️

Beautiful farm and camping spot so close to Brisbane and Samford yet you feel miles away. The entry to the property is stunning crossing Cedar creek and the campsite is right near it with beautiful views of the mountains. You can wonder up the the dam via the cutest chook pen or wade in the creek or watch the cows and horses graze with the mountains as backdrop. If you dont want to cook its a ten minute drive to town to dine at the Samford taven (what we did) Stunning property. Loved it

Such a lovely little place to stay! So peaceful by the creek and getting to wake up with the cows 🐄 Best place if you don’t want to travel too far if you’re a brissy local, but want to enjoy nature! 🌳

Our camping trip was cut short by bad weather which was such a shame as the property is delightful and Clair was a wonderful host. The camping site is by the creek with lovely green farm and mountain scenery and yet you are just a short drive from Samford Village.

We love our peace and quiet when we camp and Clair’s place was perfect for this. Only one booking at-a-time meant we could relax and recharge. Other great things:
- short drive from Brisbane
- friendly hosts and animals
- flat grassed area for our tent
- beautiful views across the paddocks to the mountains
- right on the flowing Cedar Creek
- trees provided different shaded areas throughout the day.

Loved my stay. Was the perfect getway for a few days. The site was flat and had a great view towards the mountains. Clair dropped of some fresh fruit and vegetables from her garden as well.
