Terrific quiet camp on a creek. Plenty of wildlife. Carolyn and Rob have provided a beaut camp kitchen to use and firewood for $10 a bag if you need. The toilet is clean if needed also. The provision of a small cubby house and seat swing is great for any kids you may have and the use of solar lights is a nice touch. Recommended.

Nice secluded camp site down by a small stream. Located on a working farm with a visit from a couple of friendly horses. Clean flushing toilet and small camp kitchen if needed. Enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful spot. We were the only ones there for the one night we stayed and so it was nice and quiet. If all spots were filled would be a bit crammed and maybe difficult to maneuver larger rigs. Facilities are great, very clean and well maintained. Enjoyed the swing, cubby house, piano and camp kitchen. Thanks so much to the hosts for this niche little spot.

We found this beautiful spot last minute to pull up for a night! Amazing surroundings so peaceful and quiet! The drive in was beautiful! Would have been even better if the creek was flowing, but was still a beautiful spot highly recommend!

Had the whole spot to ourselves, and what an experience it was! Amenities were so handy and having a super long hose for use was also great! Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone.
The only negative would be the camp spots are really close to eachother, so if the campsites are full it would be a little squishy, but otherwise definitely book this spot, it was amazing

It was so quiet and the little creek was beautiful and clear, shame it wasn’t running, loved how it was close to home, really enjoyed the fire pits provided, site 10 is the perfect one, a great weekend getaway, we well definitely be back!

This property is kept lovely and clean. The outdoor kitchen is cute. Toilet very clean. Hose for water. Lots of areas to park up and have fire pits and seats at each section. They have bags of fire wood available for a cost. We were blessed the see the blue butterflies 🦋. Our friends and ourselves enjoyed 2 nights if fun and memories. Thankyou.

We've been on the road for more than 6 months now and this is one of our favourite spots. We were fortunate to be the only ones there for 2 of the 3 nights, which was a bonus!
The facilities were great. A spotless, flush toilet was available. While we didn't use them, the camp kitchen (complete with piano), kids cubby house and swing were great touches.
Sites were massive, with heaps of room to maneuver the biggest of setups. The grass was well maintained and our animals loved it.
We used the fire pits provided and bought some wood while there, which made for a couple of great fires. With no-one around, we were able to take some great photos.
That's all before you take into account the crystal clear creek.
If you're thinking of staying here, just do it!

I've been asked a few times now by Hip Camp to do a review and I don't want to! Not because it's a terrible place but because I don't want others to know about this hidden gem and keep it all to ourselves 😊
Such a beautiful place to camp. Clear running creek, always mowed and very well maintained grounds. We even get the resident horses and cows come to say hi.
Definitely recommend this place. Taking the in-laws soon to introduce them to the camping places around Mackay.
Carolyn and Rob are great hosts. Keep doing what you are doing it's just perfect.

We had such a good time at blue tree camping ground! The property is stunning and the amenities were a bonus. Very clean and tidy and very much appreciated. We camped at site number 10 with the water hole and it was nice. Very refreshing. Would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend!

Lovely spot with quaint camp kitchen and clean flushing toilet available. Each camp is grassed and right on the creek, with refreshing swimming holes to explore. Directions easy to follow.

This well maintained camp ground is a beautiful spot for everyone. There is a number of spot to chose from.
The natural creek that is so clear you can see everything.
The communal kitchen is just beautiful and the toilet is very clean.
Can not wait to go back 🥰

Absolutely amazing. We we're the only ones out at Blue Tree Campground, the whole place is immaculate and tranquil. Its was a very warm welcome too by Rob who was there mowing at the time. We had to leave a day earlier and actually wanted to extend our stay for a week after getting there but rain coming in and an unexpected emergency cut our stay short. This is one place that is high on our list of places to come back to. Highly recommended this place, the camp kitchen is amazing and honestly the whole place is stunning
