I had such a wonderful stay at Zigzag's Land! I originally booked a campsite but forgot to bring my tent lol Thankfully, the hosts were incredibly accommodating and upgraded me to a van parking spot without any hassle. They were so welcoming and made me feel right at home, which truly made the whole experience even more special. The location is perfect for outdoor adventures, just 20 minutes from Trillium Lake and about an hour from Portland. I can’t wait to come back, this time fully prepared with my tent! Highly recommend this peaceful little gem :)

Such a cool property. We stayed midweek so it was less busy. We really enjoyed the Forest camp, looks like you are actually out in the woods instead of just being in someones yard. Although, there is yard camping too if you prefer. The communal kitchen stayed clean, but I recommend bringing your own dishes. Some where available, but it's sparse. Nice forest trails to walk but still close to grocery and restaurants.

Loved camping here! Super friendly host that was more than accommodating. The bus/kitchen was well equipped, tons of spots to eat outside, the communal fire pit was great! At first I was bummed we could not have our own st our tent but then we ended up at the fire for 6 hours with other campers and families! Can’t wait to go back!

Zigzag’s was wonderful! I arrived as it was getting dark and it was convenient from major roads and well marked. I parked and followed the signs to the office where Tobias greeted me and showed me around. It was much more than just a tent site! There were bathrooms, showers, a bus converted into a kitchen, a fire pit, an organic garden, yurts, a walking path, just a lot more than what I expected. Everything was clean. All the notes and reminders felt very kind. My tent site was very level, and canopied by trees, secluded but still close to the river, fire pit and houses. I only stayed one night but I would definitely go back and highly recommend this place.

Zigzag Mountain Farm is an absolute gem. I really enjoyed my stay, tent camping in a beautiful grove of moss covered trees. The heated bathhouse in a historic cabin was really nice and cozy. This is a very convenient location if you're planning to hike to Ramona Falls or other nearby trails in the Mount Hood Wilderness.
Stop at nearby Fernie's for coffee and breakfast sandwiches. I also loved the rockfish tacos and brews at Mount Hood Brewery.

So pleased with Zigzag Mountain Farm! Just an hour from Portland, I camped out for three nights while exploring a handful of Mount Hood trails.
The communal kitchen/bus allowed me to easily wash dishes, charge my devices. My spot amongst the trees stayed shaded the entire time. You can hear and see people throughout the day but you have plenty of space/privacy. Quiet hours were respected. Great vibe and amenities.
I highly recommend renting the propane fire ring for fire at your own site.
This place was a lovely surprise. I’ll be back soon!

Reserved a tent site as I didn't know yurts were available. After a long day on a motorcycle, staff was able to change my accommodation... the yurt was clean and cozy and I was able to rest in the serenity of the farm. Great layout of the overall camp and will definitely be back!

Great, friendly staff. Lots of spots, even some yurts. The kitchen is a tri-met bus. I just wish they allowed fire pits on spot. I do understand the fire hazard, but I would like a personal fire pit.

Friendly and helpful staff, great facilities and dispersed camping was lovely!
Communal campfire pit was great, nice to meet some fellow campers, and everyone we encountered was great, and great at sharing spaces.
Camp kitchen bus was an awesome bonus!

It was a last-minute opportunity for a quick getaway when we stumbled upon ZigZag and we couldn't have expected better! The folks were friendly and if you want a little glamping facility while still providing your camp set up, this is a no-brainer. The property also had yurts and I look forward to trying those out in the future!

Loved it! It looks a wonderful place to stay for events - they were hosting a music festival a few days after my stay. They've got tons of cool places to hang out and little hikes nearby. I'd like to go and spend a few days sometime.

Wonderful camp with plenty of activities to entertain yourself. They have a 1 mile walk/hike around the property, a small playset for kids, corn hole was setup, and several sheltered tables and chairs for all to use. It reminded me of a mini scout camp with plenty of space for people to spread out.

Campsites were nice, but note that it is dispersed camping and you will have to haul your stuff in. There’s a small turn around that makes this easier and they have a small wagon you can use. The forest camp is closest to the turn around and outhouse, but people will be walking through your campsite. They are pretty well stocked for cooking. Lots of grilling accessories, 2 grills, propane campfire thing, gas stove, pans. Showers were hot and clean enough. Flushable toilets in the bathhouse and there’s a shower plus toilet room in the main office. Overall, we enjoyed and would come back again. Just wish quiet hours were more enforced. 2 different groups were loud on the nights we stayed.

came here for a quick stop on our way to Mt Hood and it was amazing. the workers/host were helpful and quick to respond. there was a lot of resources/tips with where to go for trails/hiking 10/10 recommend
