Christy's cabin was a fantastic, cozy little get away. The hosts were very hospitable and made sure we had every thing we needed to be warm and cozy for the evening. Beautiful trails nearby and some friendly pups, too!

We loved this cozy spot! As soon as we got to the cabin, their sweet dog greeted us with love! :) Great hospitality from Christy (attentive to any needs) and her husband got us set up immediately with the fire pit, plus they had a little bit of heat going inside the cabin. They made sure we were comfy, as we stayed on a very cold couple of nights (we brought a little heater and nice warm sleeping bags+blankets.) Cabin came with some heaters, but make sure to do some extra preparing for cold nights. (We brought a blow up mattress and some heavy duty warm sleeping bags and put a couple extra blankets in the sleeping bags to do the trick.)
Fire pit was great (came w chairs), firewood provided, and all of our basic needs at a great price. Outhouse available on the property. This is good for an escape and a good camping experience. Would love to come back.
***Bonus: We saw some shooting stars - view is amazing at night. And some turkeys came through the trails on our last day! Oh, and their dog came and told us bye when we were leaving and we started to tear up a little! 💛

Christy’s place suited my needs perfectly, I was just looking for a place with basic amenities to get out the cold for one night before starting my backpacking trip. Two things I wanna mention though, if the temperature is dipping below 40°F make sure you have a warm enough sleeping bag or quilt because the little heater they have in there didn’t do much at that temperature, and secondly, I just had a 2 wheel drive truck and the driveway is very steep getting in and out and I was barely able to make it so just keep that in mind. But otherwise, it’s a beautiful place on a beautiful property and I would have loved to stay another night. Only took me about 15 minutes to get to Brevard for some dinner.

The cabin has the perfect blend of comfort and rustic vibes—just what you want for a camping (or glamping!) adventure. 🏕️🪵 Cozy and charming!
The hosts were wonderful—greeted me with smiles and immediately lit up the fire 🔥, making me feel right at home. And let’s talk about their two dogs! 🐶💕 The big one (I wish I remembered her name!) was SO sweet and snuggly, even hopped up on the rocking chair for some cuddles.
Everything here is a breeze—super easy to find and use, including the outdoor toilet 🚽 (which is a plus when camping!). Make sure you wake up early to catch the sunrise 🌅 over the mountains… it’s seriously stunning.
All in all, I had a fantastic stay! I’m already planning my next visit and will definitely be spreading the word about this gem. 10/10, would glamp again! ⭐️🏞️🥰

The trails were wonderful to walk on, definitely a stand out part of this stay. One of the owners was out for a long time working to lead blow them so they were easy to follow.
Also, the fire pit with plenty of wood. And the friendly dogs. All of it was lovely.

It was nice and private. You really feel safe on the property and the host are great. They provide a lot of things that you may need as well, such as cooking utensils. The trails on the property are a nice touch too.

Awesome spot near both Pisgah and DuPont trails. Everything was as advertised. Host was very easy to work with, and she had two lovely dogs! I was only stopping through, so I didn't get to test out the single track on the property. However, next time through I'm definitely going to stay here again!

My little family and I loved Christy’s lil Cabin in the mountains so cozy and warm even in late October, we enjoyed the fire pit and loved the proximity of the outhouse. This lil cabin was home away from home. Christy and Rick were awesome hosts and even set up a bonfire for us. We loved it and made many memories here!

Christy and her Husband where awesome host! The land around their land and the cabin is so beautiful! I really enjoyed my stay since the cabin is surrounded by woods and it was nice there with only the sounds of nature and it being pitch dark at night. While I am a fan of camping it was a very nice stay to have electricity and be able to sit at a table when not sleeping in my hammock. Also the cabin is actually pretty big, it feels much bigger than it looks online. I really enjoyed my stay here and I definitely would consider coming back for a few days and exploring kanuga and the other forrest and parks around the Ashville area!

This was a cute place to stay and bike. The host was very kind and responsive. The only thing I really didn't like was there was no lock on the door. It felt relatively safe being tucked away and on someone's property but as a female often staying places alone a lock would offer peace of mind.

Great basecamp for exploring Pisgah and DuPont, and fantastic hosts to boot. Christy and Rick were very welcoming, and Rick even had a fire started for us when we got back for our second night.

I loved our stay at the cutest little shack! The hosts were lovely and welcoming, but also gave us privacy to enjoy our stay. Everything was exactly as we expected. The shack was clean and comfortable. There were a few games and books available and a nice fire pit with wood. The outhouse was clean and I loved the cute art! The trail was lovely to walk. It was perfect for us and I wish we could have stayed longer. I highly recommended!

The cabin was clean and well furnished. The trails on property were well kept up and full of wildlife.
The hosts were welcoming but not overbearing. Our only regret is not staying a little longer.

Perfect peaceful quiet retreat. It was ideal. Conveniently located between DuPont and Pisgah to hike and bike. I saw my first white squirrel, which they taught me was common for the area.

Our stay was amazing! Christy and her husband were very accommodating! We stayed 2 nights in the beginning of August and during our stay it was pretty rainy off and on but Christy made sure that we felt comfortable! Her husband helped us set up the fire place since it was a little wet, it was a cold weekend but she made she we knew about the heater, and they even offered us umbrellas that we could use! They also have 2 dogs one of which loved to hang out with us which was super cute! We had 3 people in our group 2 of us slept in hammocks and 1 slept on a blow up mattress but even with it all set up we had plenty of space to walk around and eat at the table. The location was also perfect! 30 minutes into town, about 20 minutes away from Dupont State Forest which has quite a few waterfalls, and about 10 minutes away from Jeter Mountain U-pick farm! Overall amazing stay!

I had a great stay at Singletrack Shack. I loved the private trails behind the cabin - so mossy and lush! Charlie's dogs were friendly and came to say hello a few times. Lovely little time away.

We loved our stay at the Shack! It is clean and well stocked. Christy was an attentive hostess. The trails on site were well maintained and provided a beautiful place to walk. We enjoyed the quiet and privacy of the site while also being a short drive away from DuPont, Pisgah, and Hendersonville.

I needed a place to be alone that felt safe, was on a sizeable chunk of acreage so that I could take long solo walks, and had electricity. Christy’s place checked all the boxes. Three acres of trails! Very peaceful, and Christy and her husband were very close by, so I felt super safe. The cabin was very clean and stocked with lots of supplies. I am not a fan of outhouses, but this one was five-star! Really, the perfect glamping experience. Also: it is just about a 15-minute drive to DuPont forest, so on one of the days I drove there and hiked around. Gas station/ convenience store is less than 10 minutes away. But I felt like I was “away from it all.” Also: I got to find out what it’s like to sleep in a hammock, since there are hammock hooks on the walls. Highly recommend hammocking! And more than highly recommend this wonderful place! Can’t wait to return.

Even though there was a storm it was a very cozy stay!! Rick was so accommodating and even helped us get out little Prius up the driveway after a night of heavy rain. He was out the door early to clear a fallen tree with his tractor:))) would highly recommend as the property is very beautiful!!!

This place is perfect for a relaxed, secluded vacation with friends. I went with 2 of my college friends for a night and it was amazing. There are great walking trails, a fire pit with plenty of firewood, and all the amenities you could ask for. Christy was super friendly and helpful and gave great directions on how to get there. 10/10 experience

Such an amazing little gem. To say Christy is a 5 star host would be an understatement. Extremely clean and tidy lodging. The simplistic accommodations were exactly what my wife and I were looking for. Location could not be better. Close to Dupont state Forest as well as Pisgah national Forest. We spent Saturday chasing waterfalls, then had a quiet relaxing place to sit around the fire and just enjoy nature, we will definitely be back regularly.

The single track shack served as the perfect middle ground between camping & glamping! The shack was very spacious & had many hooks to hang our enos for a good nights rest. Very quiet & hidden location, service was spotty. The shack had many windows with great light during the day but lacked curtains for privacy at night. Would for sure recommend if traveling through Hendorsonville, very close to duPont for great biking & hiking trails.

The Single Track Cabin is in an isolated setting except the hosts’ beautiful home with a country club yard is just a little further down the long drive. All is as you see in the pics. If you have bedding, you will find all you need. The back of the cabin opens on to the 3 mile bike trail. Rick and Christy were great, most accommodating while giving complete privacy.

The shack was perfect it has electricity and fans for the heat, and running water to clean up your bike. The fire pit was great and they made sure wood was provided. There are 3 miles of private trails to ride that are fun to ride or walk.
