Learn more about this land: We are a young family just starting out, we have 40 acres within walking distance to the lake with a nice little forest (currently we are working on an easy access through the trees but if you enjoy foraging this might fit perfectly!)  We are very open to helping set up activities or anything you may need. We have grown up in the area and know it very well and hope you enjoy your time! The campsites are fairly private, but still close to all of the amenities that we offer. We have recently added a 10 minute nature walk through the trees, this will include locations to sit and rest, as well as the ability to get some shade while soaking in all sounds and beauty of your surroundings. Lac Ste. Anne is only a 15-minute drive from our property where you can enjoy swimming, hiking, biking, and so much more! Please be mindful we are a farm, our animals are friendly but we ask that you respect the fences. Children are asked to stay on the cut grass unless accompanied by an adult (we have a pond and other various safety hazards).  -Please clean up after yourselves - pack in, pack out! - Campfires are permitted within local regulations - Picnic table provided - Pit toilet available -Electrical and water hookup available -Both wifi and cell reception on the property

PLEASE NOTE, this listing is for tent camping only. We are a younger family with children, we have 40 acres within walking distance to the lake with a nice little forest (currently we don't have any easy access through the trees but if you enjoy foraging this might fit perfectly!)  We are very open to helping set up activities or anything you may need. A Perfect Trip!

We loved camping on Katy and Jon’s property! Their lovely dogs Emma and Walter kept us company the whole weekend, and Katy and Jon were so accommodating! We really loved being just a short drive out of Edmonton but feeling like we were in the middle of nowhere. We’re definitely looking forward to our next trip out there and can’t recommend it enough.

Nice rustic little farmstead camping spot. The listing and recent review pictures didn't match what we experienced - we had a very rustic spot in the forest by a dilapidated shed/building - but we had a lovely evening regardless, made by Walter and Emma who were delightful company and we felt safe with them guarding the area! Firewood ready on arrival was great. Thanks! Dan & Scarlett

It was a really good experience for us. Host was friendly and really helpful. We enjoyed our stay. The only issue we faced was the toilets. Could improve over there.

Very nice spot for farm style camping. Host and family are very kind and non-intrusive. Happy to tell you about the farm and animals. Animals are all very nice, kids had a wonderful time seeing the farm animals, learning about them from the hosts children and interacting with them. Would HIGHLY recommend this place for a young child's first camping trip, as the farm animals and paths around them offer plenty of excitement. There are multiple camp spots, so if you wanted more privacy I am sure the hosts could accommodate that too. Am sure we will be back next year.

It was one of the wonderful experiences in my life camping solo at Katy and her Family’s farm. Cozy lil spot in the forest. Just a mile from the beach. Emma & Walker their sweet little dogs will check on you every once, I must bring them a treat next time such beautiful dogs. PS they took me to the beach the morning I woke up. Perfect spot for campfire and watching the shades of the sky. This place will take you back in time if you just sit there listen.

Hobby Farm in Glenevis (Trailer)
I and my friends loved camping in Hobby Farm at Katy’s land. Jon was very responsive and helpful. The trailer was accommodating too. We had a wonderful stay, could relax and enjoyed the campfire. The two dogs were simply adorable. I highly recommend it.

Jon & Katy’s property was so beautiful! The kids had so much fun playing on the trampoline and enjoying time by the camp fire. The trailer was very accommodating and clean :) would definitely recommend especially for families

We had a fantastic time at the hobby farm! Katy was helpful and responsive. The place was perfect for a quiet weekend with friends in the countryside. All the animals were lovely, and the dogs were particularly adorable. I recommend it!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! A group of us bike packed from Edmonton and it was fantastic. There was some unfortunate weather while we were there and Katy really came through. She brought us a couple pop up shelters (like farmers market tents). It was a godsend for us tenters. Plus how could you not love a campground with two very friendly dogs and a great basecamp for other adventures. It was a quick ride into Alberta Beach!

Camping on Katy's land was super fun! She was really friendly to everyone and helped set up activities for the kids in the afternoon. My daughter loved staying on a farm with little pigs running around, super cute! Lots of space to roam around and wooded areas to venture off in, and the camp site was grassy and private. Thanks Katy!

This was an excellent site for myself and my 3 year old.. the piglets were super cute and their dog Emma kept my son from getting anywhere he shouldn't by herding him about - too cute! I highly recommend this site to younger families especially as there are amenities close by and places like the botanical gardens to enjoy.. and there's a bonus trampoline on the property ;) I have never had such a well seasoned sack of wood at a campsite and the hosts were very accommodating and not intrusive at all. Level ground to camp on and trees for some shelter/shade.

Katy was very welcoming. We had a nice grassy area for our tents. Friendly dogs greeted us and that was nice. We needed water and they got us set up. Felt like a safe place to stay. Quiet

The host family is very friendly (with two dogs). If you have a kids loves animal, this is the must visit place. They have everything for the best camping experience. I will definitely visit this place again.

This was a great location that had everything I needed for the weekend. It was easy to find and still out of the way. The spot I set my tent up was great for an infrequent camper. The spot was clear and flat, and well sheltered. The hosts greeted me on arrival and gave me a quick tour, and afterwards were accommodating for the couple of requests. It was a fantastic experience.

Feels Rustic with All the Mod Cons!

This was a unique experience for sure! It was lovely to meet the animals, especially Tracker and Emma - the very friendly farm dogs. It was so quiet except for the occasional moo from the cows or grunts from the pigs or quacks from the ducks lol. In the evenings, we could hear the coyotes in the distance, but we were safely guarded by Tracker and Emma! It was so handy having electric and water right there, and access to really well seasoned fire wood. Our hosts were very respectful of our space. It was only a 15 minute drive to Alberta Beach. The wasps were bad but they are bad everywhere this summer - just be aware if you have allergies.

We went twice already, my kids loved to stay there they spent plenty of their time on the trampoline. The hosts Katy and her husband very helpful and friendly . My kids fell in love with the dogs who are also very friendly . Good location, 10mn driving distance to beachside. We definitely go back to camp there again.
