We are located in the '14 river crossings' Cambanoora Gorge, just 2.5 hrs from Brisbane and the Gold Coast. This 1500 acre working cattle and horse property offers a variety of completely private, riverside campsites. * 4WD access only. Suitable for fully self-contained camper trailers, and high clearance, four-wheel-drive camping outfits.  * Note Campers must be self-contained and bring their own camping toilet. (No holes in the ground, must be a chemical toilet where you take your waste with you). * We are dog-friendly but they must be cattle, horse and wildlife-friendly. You can BYO horse for $12 per horse per day, and keep it in our secure yards. You are welcome to explore the Cambanoora Gorge (it's part of the national trail) and/or our property on your horse. Note: Access to this site is via a river crossing, short steep track and rocky creek crossing. High clearance 4wd vehicle and trailer essential. Scenic spot in our river flat paddock, fronting a good swimming spot at the junction of the Condamine and Blackfellas Gully.  Space for all the family and a few friends. Great views of the escarpment and cliff lines which throw magical colours on sunset. Keep an eye out for the platypus as well. Central fire pit for a campfire (subject to fire bans)

The site is level with good views of the surrounding valley and cliff lines. It's large enough for a few families to share. This site is ideal for large group bookings. It has spectacular views into the gorge and of the cliffs and is located on the riverbank, it offers a few swimming spots, on the fringe of a cultivation paddock. An old combine provides a good fire pit seat and an antique plough shows how the paddock used to be worked up and seeded. A lovely riverside Pepperina tree provides a shady spot for a picnic or sundowner.

Located on a flat shelf in our river flat paddock, this pretty site is named after the beautiful tall yellowjacket trees that provide shade for cattle. It fronts a nice swimming hole that is also home to platypus between the site and our historic cattle yards. Like most of our sites, it has lovely escarpment views. Access requires a four-wheel-drive vehicle and a high clearance camper trailer. Note: we have a leave no trace policy, so campers MUST bring their own camping toilet.

Riverbend is a spacious campsite perched upon the banks of the Condamine River among grand old eucalypts with expansive views of the cliffs and escarpments of the Great Dividing Range. There is a generous-sized horse paddock, perfect for horse enthusiasts to bring their horse and trail ride on our property or through Cambanoora Gorge (Liability Waiver to be signed). This site is easily accessed from Condamine River Road by all vehicle types. It is where the original homestead of over 140 years was located. Beautiful manicured lawn and garden area with shade trees. An ideal site for those who are not self-contained as it has its own toilet/shower and power. There is a generous sized horse paddock as well as yard and so it is perfect for horse enthusiasts to bring their own horse and trail ride either on our property or through Cambanoora Gorge (Liability Waiver to be signed). It has great views of the surrounding valley and cliff lines and is only a short walk to the river. It's large enough for a few families to share. Note: we have a leave no trace policy, so campers MUST take all of their rubbish with them.

Wynola Country Cousins Dollys View
We had a lovely, relaxing, quiet weekend at Dolly's View and we look forward to going back. The site was very well maintained and had a perfect spot for our camper trailer. The outlook to the mountains and cliffs was stunning especially in the afternoon sunlight and we enjoyed the visits by the local wallabies and monitor lizard. Communication with Bernie and Jo was quick and the instructions to the site were very clear and easy to follow. We will definitely be returning.

Would highly recommend PlatypusReach! The site has incredible views, especially at sunrise when the gorge lights up. Everything is well maintained and the river and walking track was fun to explore. If you like wildlife there is a resident wallaby, fairy wrens and of course the platypus, who made an appearance each day. We enjoyed swimming in the many creeks further up the road and The Falls are only a short, scenic drive away. Bernie's directions were clear and detailed and he was very helpful leading up to our stay. We would like to come back and try the other sites in the future.

Camping at any of the Wynola Country Cousins Killarney camp sites never disappoints. Private, Spacious, well maintained level sites, conveniently located, easy to access and very picturesque. Pets, camp fires, wildlife, swimming, great climate and all wish-list items covered. Hosts are great with communications, directions and can supply fire wood. 10/10 every time!

This was our third visit and it really was good with perfect weather. We have an enthusiastic German Shepard who loves to be able to run around and this is his happy place. Bernie is a great host and it is a real pleasure and treat to spend time on his property. We enjoyed our stay and will come back.

The brief for the boys weekend was flames, whiskey, steaks and isolation. The setting here at Bernie’s and Jo’s was idealistic. The views are great and the wildlife is beautiful. Plenty to do with the 4x4 nearby without getting crazy and lots to see. We’ll be back for sure!

Communication was very clear and the campsite was lovely. The campsite at Long Crossing is spacious and flat overall, suitable for our caravan. We managed to catch a glimpse of a platypus too!
