Situated only 15 minutes from Raglan and about the same to the blissful and barely known about Aotea Harbour, keep going and in only 35 minutes you find yourself in Kawhia, another gorgeous harbour and also boasts it's own hot water beach, where at low tide you can just dig a hole and create your own spa pool - choose the right day and enjoy a spectacular and unforgettable sunset. Not forgetting of course the renowned Bridal Veil Falls, only 2km further up the road from this property. With the local social club directly across the road, you have the choice of peace and tranquility or a little socialising and getting to know the locals - with the possibility of being let in on further (lesser known and undiscovered) attractions which, believe me exist - but are accessable by permission only. When we first turned up to Sommerfeldt Farm, the view took our breath away. It was simply beautiful. It was the calm we needed. We really enjoyed our over night stay and am excited to return.

Awesome stay! The farm is beautiful and it was delightful to be greeted by horses and a pig upon our arrival. The location is so quiet and peaceful and close to a lovely walk through Henry's Reserve. Great first camping trip for our dog.

Ideal stop over as we left Auckland airport late due to delayed flight. Easy to find. Quiet over night so peaceful sleep. We were up and gone early but saw the sunrise over the paddocks and sheep.

Amazing place for solitude and a stunning view within striking distance of Hobbiton and Zealong Estate. Stuart was fantastic..led us on an intrepid drive up the farm race and we ended up perched on a hill with an endless view and a stunning sunrise. Lovely walks on stunning farmland. Thank you Stuart for your kindness and generous spirit.
