Just a short walk from one of New Zealand’s most famous beaches, Hot Water Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park offers spacious powered and unpowered sites surrounded by native bush and landscaped grounds. From here, you can wander down to the shore, dig your own natural hot pool in the sand at low tide, and soak in the warm mineral water with the sound of the waves rolling in. The park has a relaxed, family-friendly feel, with generous sites perfectly suited to tents, caravans and motorhomes — including all-weather options for larger vehicles — as well as a wide selection of cabins and villas. Facilities at the park are many and varied: a year-round heated pool complex with soaking pools, modern communal kitchens, clean amenity blocks, an on-site shop, laundry, BBQ areas, EV-charging (trickle-style, outside peak season only) and a playground for younger guests. All of this combines with the bush setting and ocean-front access to deliver a comfortable, nature-centred stay without compromise.

The Outback is a large flat paddock where you can spread yourselves out and sites are not designated. This is specifically a non-powered basic area great for tents of all sizes, as well as vans or motorhomes. This area is suitable for large families or groups travelling together, so there's plenty of room to spread out the camping gear, bikes, gas BBQ’s - even the boat! In the Outback you will be close to 2 portaloos and a 3 minute walk to our brand new second facilities block, where you will find a fully equipped communal kitchen, toilets and showers. The Outback campers also have access to the camps dump station.

Our Non-Powered Sites are great for tents of all sizes, as well as vans or motorhomes that require no power, looking for a safe haven for a night or two. Choose from central designated sites or experience freedom and privacy in one of our stream or cabbage patch campsites! All our camping sites are spacious and perfectly suitable for large families or groups travelling together, so there's plenty of room to spread out the camping gear, bikes, BBQ’s - even the boat! Campervan Sites are hard gravel sites with a patch of grass next to them. Easy to drive in and out of. Native bush surrounds the holiday park, offering a tranquil environment. Well-equipped Facilities Block where you will find the fully equipped communal kitchen, showers, family showers and extra showers on the playground side. This includes Sky TV, coin-operated laundry, dairy(shop) and free outdoor BBQ and dining areas. FREE Hot Showers There is a dump station for campervans on site. Wheelchair access: All sites are flat and can be accessed by vehicles Please Note: Please bring your own safe camping RCD plug & lead which will plug into the 16 Amp RCD posts provided at all powered sites, see the pictures for plug socket. These can be purchased from any camping or hardware outlet or hired from reception for a fee. For caravan, campervans and tents that are larger than a regular size please call reception for suitable options. During peak season we encourage campers to bring their own crockery and cutlery for their convenience.

This three bedroom apartment is great for a large family, a group of friends, a team breakaway or a small school group. The open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area are spacious and stylishly furnished with everything you should need. There is plenty of room in the lounge for you to share with family and friends or relax in front of a 42" SKY TV. The master bedroom (ensuite) has a king-size bed, a single bed and includes its own bathroom. The second bedroom includes a king bed and looks onto a small private garden, and the third bedroom contains two sets of bunkbeds. These rooms share the second bathroom. This apartment includes a washing machine and a breakaway outdoor lounge area. The surrounding garden is spacious and private with plenty of room for parking, tents or a medium sized marquee.

We visited the site over the Waitangi long weekend and had an absolutely fantastic camping experience. The staff were very friendly, the facilities were excellent, and the food and live music added such a great vibe. We truly had a memorable time!

Camped here for 1 night. You really don't need to bring anything here. They have it all and a 5 min walk to Hot Water Beach. So many restaurants, nice clean bathrooms and tons of showers. They have handicapped washrooms with showers that are very accessible. The pizza oven and Fish and Chip place were hugely popular and looked so yummy. Big pool and hot tub that closes at 7:30. The communal kitchen is huge. They have 2 big fridges and 6 stoves you can you use + two grills. They have 8 sinks with soap for dishes and they have plates, cutlery, pots and pans and utensils. WOW!! Tons of seating inside and out and huge tv area where we got to watch the World Series. GO Blue Jays!! 💙 The beach is cool to walk down to and dig a hole to find the hot water. It is hot so don't need to dig very far. The sand is so soft and a huge stretch of beautiful beach. 🏖️ Everything was so clean and spotless! If here you are only a 10 min drive to Cathederal Cove which is a must see!!

Deluxe Cabin

Just spent the last few days here and have to say this has easily become my favourite place to stay! Soak pool, fireplace going in the common area - great place to meet & mingle and hang out with Blue, the kingpin of HWB Top 10! Coffee shop in the morning and pizza and beer in the evening - so delicious and perfect when you just want to hang out at camp. I stayed in a powered site & my daughter & husband stayed in a deluxe cabin which they absolutely loved! Thank you to the team putting us close together even though the sites on that side were closed for the season. Site is well maintained and very clean. The team were really nice, friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend coming here to stay!
