Walking through the park and the square is just magical at Christmastime. Easy Like a Sunday Morning is nestled just outside the city limits of Granbury, Texas (approximately 3 miles from Granbury Historic square) @ a private residence just outside the city limits. New laundry facility down the road, dump station @ Thorp Springs RV park (20 dollars), Davids Grocery store and Dollar General, all only .03 miles away. This is not really a vacation destination but more a safe place to stay coming to town to explore all Granbury has to offer or a place to catch your breathe while traveling on the road. Friends have enjoyed escaping here for years. I decided to share the zen. It's a bit rough around the edges but if the new venture succeeds it will only get better each time you visit. Patio with a view of Lake Granbury and surrounding valley of at least 3 counties. Communal: Bonfire area when there isn't a burn ban (bring your chair). Also small fire pit on patio. Sundancer On The Brazos sits on Comanche Creek in an isolated forest on a 350 acre working cattle ranch with a quarter mile of river frontage! The Comanche were quite active up and down this part of the Brazos when the earliest settlers arrived around 1850, until the Comanches' eventual conquest by the Texas Rangers and their Colt pistols around 1870; we have found lots of flint and some arrowheads on high places here. Going further back in history, the Fuller's Folly River Ranch has an abundance of petrified wood, they say that if you have fossilized sea shells you were under water, but if you have petrified wood you had land creatures. Hunting for petrified wood is a fun adventure here. (But leave them for the next person to discover!) Weatherford is only 10 minutes away and Granbury is only 20 minutes away; both have great restaurants. And this close to Fort Worth (30min), you could actually commute and have a ranch to come home to at night--note the lower pricing mid week.

Absolutely amazing!!! I can’t wait to come back. Melissa was the best house and the property was even better than I expected. I was so comfortable, secure and felt like I was totally isolated. This place was amazing! Melissa met us as we pulled in. My two little ones immediately adored her. She was so nice and welcoming. I was honestly blown away with how secluded and “in the woods out in the middle of nowhere” it felt. The boys (6 and 3) and I haven’t done a real camping trip yet and I wanted to do kind of a trial run first. It honestly couldn’t have went better. They said it felt like we went through a portal! We had plenty of fire wood to roast marshmallows and hot dogs and the boys loved the teepee! Thank you again Melissa for such an amazing experience!

This was my first attempt at taking my young children outdoors overnight. I wanted something as close to camping as possible, and the farm teepee was exactly what I imagined. Melissa was a wonderful hostess! She was kind, thoughtful and attentive. Most importantly however, she recognized that crazed mom look in my eyes and instantly helped me relax with her friendly demeanor. Teepee was super roomy; 2 big comfy beds with room for 2 wild kids to get their crazies out. The farm was a little bit of wild that they could safely explore and start to get comfortable with all the scary spiders and loud roosters crowing LOL Her vinyl collection was insane! I need to come back just to listen to more records. But by far the best part of the trip (besides the crazy delicious farm breakfast), was at night when it got quiet and the moon and stars lit up everything and I felt a peace you just can’t get in the city. Getting back in touch with nature like that was incredibly healing and rejuvenating. 10/10 would recommend!

The exceptional customer service absolutely made this trip for me. I had tried to book a stay with them back in November for it to be canceled due to the rain/ mud on the property. I decided to rebook again this past weekend and Sandy Bottoms River Co offered a free upgrade for the inconvenience on the cancellation form November. I met John at the RV site, which was right on the Brazos with a beautiful 3-Tiered Deck, hammock, fire pit, and gas grill. John was so sweet making sure I had everything I needed. I will definitely be booking with them again!

Weekend Trip to Hideout Ridge

The entire experience was amazing! The cottage was beautiful, and the land was serene. My husband and I enjoyed walking the trails and spotting wildlife along the way. My husband loved their pond and instantly regretted not bringing fishing poles. Their land was very nice and well kept up with. Allison and her husband were great host, and we appreciated their hospitality! I would highly recommend to everyone I know.

Weekend Trip to Farm Tipi with Sauna

The teepee on Melissa’s land is a unique place to stay. The teepee is big! The bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the electric blankets. We stayed warm and cozy all night. The she shed has a big tub and the bathroom was clean. There’s a coffee maker, record player and a sauna! The land has a privet? hedge that provides for a secluded feel. We enjoyed our stay very much.

3 nights at Baby/pets friendly paradise

My family had a great time! Extremely accommodating host and the whole experience was simple which let us concentrate on having fun. We stayed there mainly at night and explored Texas during the day. It sure was nice knowing we had a nice place to return to each evening. It was like having our own personal campground.
