Our stay at Bolinda Vale Farm “Kelpie Gully” was everything we hoped for — peaceful, serene, and truly relaxing. The wide open spaces, the quiet atmosphere, and the beautiful views made it so easy to unwind and enjoy the moment. Deb, the owner, was incredibly helpful and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One unexpected bonus was the great phone signal, which made it easy to stay connected when we needed to. It’s not always something you get when camping, so it was a big plus for us. We’re definitely coming back — it’s the perfect spot to recharge and soak in some real country peace.

Weekend Trip to Gumtree Gully Cottage

We had such a lovely 2-night stay! The cottage was clean and inviting. We arrived to a lovely welcome sign and some goodies like chips, m&m’s, oats cups for breakfast, jerky and biltong. There was fire wood chopped for the fireplace, and bubble bath and bath salts by the bath. These were such unexpected but lovely touches that made us so grateful to have booked this weekend away! The property is wonderful for dogs to have a very enjoyable run around and sniff.

This is our second time in this beautiful farm. We really enjoyed the calmness and sound of the creek flowing alongside our camp. We are definitely coming back again to explore the remaining sites.

Great value room in a quiet location, good for people glamping on a budget the hosts are super friendly. There is a swimming hole, and a separate room with shower bathroom toilet.

What a lovely spot for a staycation! Lisa and Dave were so wonderful and helpful when we had difficulties with the pot belly fireplace, came right down and assisted. We will definitely be back. Beautiful spot looking out over the hills. 🛖

Liza was a friendly and welcoming host and the yurt was spacious, clean, and had a lot of privacy. Loved the little platform up the tree where we could sit and enjoy the peaceful surrounds. Easy access to amenities and numerous trails. Thanks Liza!

Weekend Trip to Yurt Abundance in Perth Hills

I had a really wonderful two nights here. There are some other houses around but it feels secluded and the neighbourgood is beautiful. Cooking with the camp cooker and having the pot belly stove on was super cozy and wasn't too cold inside. This is such a good option for the feel of camping but way more convenient and sheltered. The outdoor shower and tree house were also great. Lisa the owner is very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this yurt.

Weekend Trip to Echidna Springs Horticulture

My Husband and I took our dog to stay at Ed's place for an overnight stay. It was so quiet, the only noise was from birds and the wind rustling in the trees! Ed maintains the property very well, everything is neat and in order. Ed even cooked our sausages for us on the BBQ! The cabin is very nice, it would suit 4 people no problem. Be aware there are no amenities in the cabin, the kitchen and bathroom is in the main residence.

If you want quiet then this is the place to go. We had two fantastic days at ED’s place. Great night for star gazing and you could of heard a pin drop only 1 hour away from Perth Ed joined us for chats and a couple of beers. Thanks again Ed for sharing your dream location

Camp site are very big so as not to intrude on others, very peaceful. Wayne and Noelene are a delightful.

Peppertree was a nice quiet place to stay the hosts were very helpful and the waterhole was a nice calm well shaded area to take a dip float the kayaks or just sit in the shallows and relax. It was far enough from the city lights that the stars were so bright you could sit for hours and watch them(campsite 1 gets a lot of house light view but when facing with that to your back it isn’t as visible. ) Make sure to pack your mosquito repellent as there is some still water near the campsites. Close enough to bindoon to top up on supplies including a caravan dump showers and fresh water area. My only heads up is bindoon and Gingin shops and info places close down over Christmas New years period so prepare early for any things you would like to see nearby. The second hand shop is only open for 3hrs a couple days a week and they will kick you out at 12 on the dot And the gift shop and the bakery aren't open according to google details. We will definitely be returning g we absolutely loved this place.

I had an amazing and relaxing week here. I went swimming every day, it is such a beautiful water hole. Amenities are always clean. Thank you N&W for making my trip even more awesome!

The campsite was very easy to find and close to Perth which is great for a quick journey time on a Friday evening. The site was spacious and level with a little shade. Wildlife was good, kangaroos in the evening and lots of birds in the day. There is a natural pool a short walk away, was great on a hot day to cool down in. Overall we had a relaxing weekend.

Located on the foothills of the Darling Range in Keysbrook Western Australia, Bolinda Vale Farm is a real working farm breeding Beef cattle and Merino sheep which has been in the same family since 1926. We offer neat nature based campsites in the gully and all campsites are on the banks of the babbling Dirk Brook with a good distance between campsites for privacy. A great property to reconnect with country Please note, to get to the campsites there is a farm track and for most, a creek crossing. We recommend 4WD or SUV to access ALL campsites. Perfect place for caravans, camper trailers, rooftop tents, tents, swags, vans to various campsites. There are horses and Scottish Highland cattle that usually greet you near the main entrance, and sheep and cattle graze the hill country and surrounds. Plenty more for nature lovers here, including red-tailed cockatoos that flock to the gully to feed on the Marri trees, plus many other birds. The resident Wedge-tail eagles soar above making the most of the thermals created from the hills and the local kangaroos Dogs are welcome but must remain on leads at ALL times as this is a working farm. You MUST bring your own camping toilet and be COMPLETELY 100% self sufficient with everything including drinking water We have a Leave No Trace policy, so ask that you please take all waste with you. Strictly No Pre Booking tours of campsites allowed, a good description and photos of each campsite is available online. ALL campers are to be booked in prior to arriving at the farm. No entry for extra campers on day of arrival if not booked in as they will not be permitted to enter the property STRICTLY NO DAY VISITORS ALLOWED Campfires permitted when local government restrictions aren't in place. Yurt Abundance in Perth Hills

Abundance yurt is surrounded by trees and birds in the Perth Hills, only 30 mins from Perth CBD. The property comes with its own composting toilet and hot outdoor shower, gas cooker and pot belly stove. Suitable for singles or couples, some smaller dogs may be appropriate (please contact Liza to discuss before booking). Other things to note Moonbeams Yurt is situated at the bottom of a 1 acre property, on a large 48sqm decked area. The yurt is 20sqm in size and the composting toilet and shower are within 10 steps from the yurt entrance. The hot water shower is an outdoor shower with a privacy screen. There is NO power at all, but 1 battery powered light is available, and there is a basic gas cooker provided. There is no refrigeration. Parking is at the top of the property and guests will have to walk down a partially sealed path to arrive at the entrance to the yurt, so good mobility is needed. You will need to bring in refrigeration/Eski, lights and basic cooking camp ware. A wheelbarrow can be provided to get gear from car to yurt. A Double bed is provided. Optional extras are fresh bedding. The pot belly stove is great for the winter, and timber is provided for cold nights. We do not recommend booking during our hottest months, unless you love the heat. This property is great for backpackers or people wanting to see the sites of Perth and surrounds. The train line is close by for people who do not have a car. There are many walks and states forests in the area. We have a two night minimum stay.

Located 10 minutes out of Bindoon on a secure, peaceful and private acreage Bindoon is a lovely small town that has an IGA, Post Office, Hardware Store, Pharmacy. Bakery and more. You will need to be self contained and bring your own drinking water. Small dogs are allowed but must stay with your setup or be on a leash when walking. Also if you have bikes, there is a bike trail into Bindoon from the end of Teatree Road (4.1km). This is where the Museum, Arts and Crafts centre and Men’s shed are located.
