5 beautiful acres in the Swan Valley with horses, we run a horse rehoming charity from here where all proceeds from hipcamp go to support our facility. Along with plenty of horses, you'll also see kangaroos at certain times and our pet sheep Jamima who thinks she's a horse! A superb property with a winter creek and an open paddock where the horses live. It's very peaceful. There are only two camping sites available on this wonderful property at any time so privacy is assured. There is also a dam on the property so please mind any children with absent swimming abilities. Campfires are allowed during the season, and there is a toilet and shower available in the shed 100 meters from the camping area. Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. Please note, however, we offer a group camping option for larger groups but those booking this option must be fully self-contained as our facilities are not enough to support a large group. We have a strict Leave No Trace policy here, we kindly ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave. We also ask that you please do not feed the horses. The property is well located to access many great wineries and cafes in the famous Swan Valley area, some within walking distance. Security here is taken care of by Mr security guard "aka" Smoky our pet dog. He's very safe and timid. If you get a pat from this boy I know you're good, so beware! We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. We may also be able to accommodate your horse - please discuss this with us prior to booking. We are a hobby farm set on 100-acres on the North Dandalup scarp, with a few sheep. You will find kangaroos, echidnas, sometimes emus visiting our property. You can enjoy the great views into the horizon towards the Indian Ocean amidst the tall jarrah and gum trees. Campsites are set in the woodlands, some with views. It’s perfect for people seeking 'quiet' time away, but still near to amenities in the towns around here. You can take walks to experience forest therapy, have a campfire or canoe in the dams during wintertime. There is no power, water or toilet facilities so campers must be completely self-contained. You are expected to clear up and take all rubbish with you. Leave no trace. The terrain is rather hilly, hence a few sites are accessible only by 4WD (Sembawang and Changi). There are some sites that are still accessible with regular cars (Opera 1, 2 or 3; Tampines, Bedok). RVs and small caravans are welcomed. All vehicles have to stay on the paths, and not to make any tracks. The gravel road leading to our property is shared with neighbours who run horses. As such, please drive really slowly here so as not to cause the horses to bolt. During the summer fire season, fires are strictly prohibited! Dogs welcome (on leash).

It's an easily accessible and picturesque private property with approximately 7 acres of forest, flushing toilet, hot outdoor shower, a winter creek, a swimmable spring-fed dam, and an abundance of bird and wildlife, nestled between cattle farms in the heart of the Peel region. There are friendly free-ranging chickens and Guinea fowl, a mischievous mini pig, friendly goats, sheep, and a family dog on site. The owners Michelle, Troy, and Carolyne live and work onsite (this is a working farm). THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO BOOK IF YOU INTEND TO PARTY. The camping area is easily accessed by most vehicles. There is a hot water outdoor shower and toilet available to use and within walking distance of each site. CHILDREN - The dam on the property is currently unfenced and has steep sides when the water line is low, therefore this property is not recommended for those with small and wandering children. We also asked that older children are supervised, so as not to vandalise property, nature, gardens and fire-pits (this has been a problem in the past). Friendly dogs are welcome, however, must be kept on a leash at all times, due to free-ranging chickens, livestock and wildlife on the property. There are no cooking facilities available. Therefore, you will need to be completely self-sufficient including cooker, kettle, esky, etc, and also bringing your own drinking water as the water from the taps comes from our spring-fed dam. We do ask that you follow local fire regulations with no outdoor open flames during fire bans. All rubbish and waste needs to be taken with you. However, Peppa the Pig will always appreciate your veggie scraps. Fires are permitted in designated fire pits during fire season. Anyone found having a fire during FIRE BANS will be reported to authorities and asked to leave the property immediately (we need to use firm words around this, as bushfire destroys homes and endangers lives). The instructions were clear, easy to find, very private and a lovely surprise to find a brand new kitchen shower, toilet and laundry facilities to use. Great also if your self sufficient but if your tenting it the facilities are terrific. If travelling with a dog, beware its snake territory and dont forget your fly net like I did Thank you Lindsay for allowing me to stay at your patch of heaven by the Murray river

The Tampines site at 100 acre wood is awesome. Stunning view from the top of the scarp, north west facing... so you get a pretty good sunset. It is very private... far away enough from the other sites that you feel alone. Surrounded by beautiful bush. The concrete slab was great too, didnt habe to worry about levelling or putting a mat down. Highly recommended

Good spot for exploring the local area, Sylvana was friendly and warm. This spot was very level and private with a few trees around. There is a fire pit available. You can hear some road noise

Helps getting out when the bank is wet, dont forget to chuck it in the water before you jump in. We suggest you have a look where the logs and branches are under water before you get in and the water gets muddied.

Great camp site, we booked very last minute and we got contact from Mark very swiftly. Beautiful camp site, other campers nearby but everyone seemed friendly. We were in a 4x4 with a roof tent, highly recommend 4x4 if you’re allocated a spot out the back.

The bird life there is amazing, saw blue wrens, rosellas, red tailed black cockatoo's, kookaburra's and many more, their songs were amazing to wake up to.

Lovely little secluded place next to the river and surrounded by trees. It was beautiful, so quiet with just the sounds of nature. The little piglets were so cute too that would come and say hello.

3 nights at Nanga River Retreat, Dwellingup.

We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the camping lot. Very spacious, with a play swing set for kids (note to self for bringing the grandies next time) Transportable loo clean and operating. Lovely 2 minute to walk down the embankment to the river. Much more privacy than in the National Park. Geese, pigs and little piglets in their pens a good distance away and it was a delight to visit them. Lots of activities to do around the area or just do nothing and enjoy the peace and quiet, the trees and the birds. Spotted a Splendid Blue Wren close to our camp! Yay! Prompt communication from Shane throughout. Thank you Shane, it was just what we needed.

Our stay at Nanga River Retreat was incredible! The campsite was peaceful and beautifully maintained, surrounded by tall jarrah trees. We enjoyed campfires under a sky full of stars. Perfect mix of relaxation and adventure — highly recommended!
