We are dedicated to creating a more sustainable lifestyle and sharing our beautiful farm with others. As a permaculture farm recycling is a huge part of our culture so please read our detailed guidelines to waste management for campers. The farm features extensive food gardens, a Pop Up Farm Cafe , a beautiful Yoga Barn, and farm and forest walks. Our campground is close to town, bush walks and cycle trails. We do not accept mixed rubbish in our bin, so if you don't separate take them away with you. We will be more than happy to explain and help you with your waste. 8 - QUIET time from 10pm - please be mindful of others campers - no parties or late music. Big Valley Campsite is nestled amongst the hills of our family owned working sheep farm, ten minutes south east of Margaret River. Camp fires are prohibited in the Margaret River region between December and April, please follow any restrictions when on the property. The farm encompasses a beautiful secret valley hidden from the outside world by natural forest. We are central to the Margaret River region and its tourist attractions. Most are also drive through sites adding to the ease of getting in and set up quickly. All sites are no more than 100m from our amenities. Big Valley Campsite is nestled amongst the hills of our family owned working sheep farm, ten minutes south east of Margaret River. Camp fires are prohibited in the Margaret River region between December and April, please follow any restrictions when on the property. Your pets are welcome to join you but please notify the hosts at the time of your booking if they are travelling with you. The farm encompasses a beautiful secret valley hidden from the outside world by natural forest. We are central to the Margaret River region and its tourist attractions. Margaret River has plenty of wineries, breweries and restaurants to choose from. It also has arts and crafts, mountain biking, bush walking, caving, canoeing and abseiling to offer both visitors and locals a great variety of things to do. Plus there are many brewery and wine tours that will pick up and drop off from our campsite.

Surrounded by forests and farmland, central to the Munda Biddi Bike trail - you can drink in nature! We have flat grassy areas under trees for camping, inside and outside showers, toilets, camp kitchen with BBQ, small fridge, electric frypan and small camp stove, washing machine and device charging facilities. Sorry dogs are not permitted We can take tents, camper trailers, RV's and small caravans up to about 8 m is OK. We do not have power to the campsite. The camp ground is on a working lavender farm and farming activities may be happening. The lavender farm shop and cafe is open Friday to Sundays (closed February and Match) but campers can purchase lavender products on request. Transport to the Munda Biddi or Bibbulman Track is available. Camp fires in season (Usually May to September) and weather permitting. Redgum Hill Nestled in amongst the red gums on an elevated position near the edge of the property, you will be camping next to the old hay shed. The birdlife here is amazing, with red tailed cockatoos and honeyeaters amongst others frequently visiting. Please take care whilst exploring around this area, there are some deep rabbit warrens around the hay shed, which can be hidden in the grass in winter. This site has no facilities, self-contained campers/vans only. Valley Vista Valley Vista is a private and secluded haven, on an elevated spot backed onto state forest looking down over the valley, with arguably the best views of the farm. This site has no facilities, self-contained campers/vans only. Creek Junction Creek Junction is a peaceful area by the creek line nestled in amongst the trees, where the gully running down the hill meets the creek. One of our three dams is hidden in amongst the tea tree bushes nearby. You can see the house from this campsite, but it is far enough away that privacy is not an issue. This site has no facilities, self-contained campers/vans only. Please be aware, all of our dams are seasonal and will be very low in the summer months. We also recommend that you do not swim in them. Shed Pad with bathroom Shed Pad is a powered site (15 amp) situated next to the main shed with bathroom facilities, including a flushing toilet. This site is relatively flat, perfect for a couple of tents or two medium/one large caravan. It overlooks neighbouring paddocks and state forest. Please note, this site has a two-night minimum stay requirement. Base price covers two people.

We are surrounded by other small holdings with farm animals including chickens (and roosters), sheep, horses and cows. We also have lots of wildlife including Kangaroo's, Ducks, Ibis, Black Cockatoos and many other birds frequenting or passing through. We back onto Gavins Gully which is an idyllic creek running through ex-farm land. The creek is a great place to spend time with your children making boats from sticks and leaves and watching them sail away. Or maybe enjoy a picnic by the creek and just relax in the tranquility. There's plenty of happy memories to be made! We get lovely sunsets and if you are up early enough, beautiful sunrises. The evenings are always stunning with dappled light coming through the trees! It is magical and our favourite time of the day when everything is cooling down in summer. Enjoy taking an evening walk by the creek and along the bridal trail or just sitting back and enjoying the sounds of nature with some nibbles and drinks. Make sure to look up at night and soak it all in. Listening to the wind rustling in the trees is one of our favourite sounds and the kookaburras calling in the morning and evenings. We also love to watch and listen to all the different bird callings - you may hear a Boobook owl calling to a mate! We are centrally located to loads of attractions! We provide running bore water by tap and an outdoor kitchen sink by our back fence where you will be camping (cold water only). The water is safe to drink and wash dishes in. There’s a rustic outdoor shower with 2 options. A "rain storm" cold shower (great in summer when the water isn't cold) or a nice gentle hot shower. :) PLEASE KEEP SHOWERS TO 10 MINUTES. Checkout our extras for power and firewood! Please note we live here too so you will see us around. Our kids are free spirited and love coming to say hello! Being ex-farm land, it's generally an open environment, but we don't have neighbours too close by (100m+). We ask that campers don't make lots of noise after sunset and please avoid shining torches towards our home or our neighbours. We kindly ask you to keep the gates closed and not to pick the food. FARM WALK, follow the walk trail sign around our forest about 30/40 min.. 5 - DOGS should be on a lead at all time, we do have 1 designated paddock (not fenced) where you can have your dog off leads, please ask us. Our 3 farm dogs are free to walk around the farm and are really friendly. Zeli - the oldest black and white border collie, would love a pat, she is deaf ! Jimmy - Black X Kelpie love to get the stick, very gentle. Max - Tan x kelpie , rescue puppy love to chase Jimmy. Please make sure your bins and food are out of reach. 6 - FIRE - you are welcome to light the communal fire (firewood provided)   this is the only fire allowed on site. Please check current fire Ban info with us. usually from December till March WATER - the campground run with rain water only, we are limited please used it wisely. 7 - WASTE & RECYCLING - SO IMPORTANT! We are doing our best to provide a great recycling model. PLEASE help us …. All food even meat should be given to the chickens (bin in the kitchen) There is a 10C refund bin (this goes to charity) A recycling bin at the front gate. A general waste bin at the front gate. We do not accept mixed rubbish in our bin, so if you don't separate take them away with you. We will be more than happy to explain and help you with your waste. 8 - QUIET time from 10pm - please be mindful of others campers - no parties or late music. No generators. 9 - VISITORS between 9 - 4 and please ask them to park in the general carpark 10 - We are a SMOKE FREE farm.

Most of our powered sites are large and shaded with the few that are not shaded being complimented by views of the rolling hills. Most are also drive through sites adding to the ease of getting in and set up quickly. All sites are no more than 100m from our amenities. Big Valley Campsite is nestled amongst the hills of our family owned working sheep farm, ten minutes south east of Margaret River. Camp fires are prohibited in the Margaret River region between December and April, please follow any restrictions when on the property. Your pets are welcome to join you but please notify the hosts at the time of your booking if they are travelling with you. The farm encompasses a beautiful secret valley hidden from the outside world by natural forest. We are central to the Margaret River region and its tourist attractions. Margaret River has plenty of wineries, breweries and restaurants to choose from. It also has arts and crafts, mountain biking, bush walking, caving, canoeing and abseiling to offer both visitors and locals a great variety of things to do. Plus there are many brewery and wine tours that will pick up and drop off from our campsite.
