This is the perfect place to base yourself to enjoy the natural beauty of the Grampians National Park. The Scout Camp is located within a short distance to many hikes, bushwalks, lakes and other natural attractions. Scouts use and love this location, so we are offering it for others to enjoy too. By staying here you are helping us with funds to improve the camp. The Scout Camp has bunkhouse accommodation that can sleep 60, plus 10-15 caravan sites (about 4 powered). Camping welcome, plenty of sites. Ask about booking the whole place out for your group!There are great facilities including; gas and fire BBQs, a commercial kitchen that has fed up to 80 people, a large dining hall and games hall, laundry, toilets and hot showers!There's a seasonal creek just 400 meters away. As it's a National Park dogs are not permitted. Campfires permitted. Firewood available to collect your own in the bush.

The site was a part of Caravan Park and great location. Amenities were very well managed nice and cleaned. There were potable water available and and hot water for relaxed shower. Great place for go away from city noise and throw yourself in the nature. Very comfortable with children aged 3 and 9 too. Highly recommend for camping.

Communication with reception was excellent and informative. Setting and location was Fabulous. Facilities were great, very quaint and unusual but practical and easy to use. Well appointed kitchen equipment. A cat roaming around was the only negative I could think of.

What a spot! If you want to see an abundance of animals then this is the spot! Camp-site are well set up with clean modern amenities and fire drums with bone dry timber supplied. Heated pools top it off. Great for families and couples alike. Totally recommend.

Beautifully well maintained camp area, spaced well apart from others, nice toilet/ shower block, really quiet, only 4 other groups in the whole site over ANZAC weekend. Phone service was patchy, when it worked it was good, but otherwise a dead zone. Easy to find and get to. Would come again!

Price was reasonable, it’s a rough back block of a Cv park on the outskirts of Stawell. Nothing flash with old fashioned facilities and distant traffic noise. What I liked was plenty of space and privacy, ability to have a fire and dog friendly.

Really beautiful, serene grounds. Amenities are basic and probably best to bring your own toilet paper to be safe. Also check for bull ant nests before setting up. Access with a 2WD was no problems. Good value camping, off the beaten track.

Beautiful place! Toilet and kitchen facilities are clean and confortable. Got a bit of issues with mosquitoes in the cabin, so be aware of that! We will definitely want to go back.

Was unsure of what to expect due to little information on the Hipcamp listing, but was pleasantly surprised as the campsite was actually part of the Stawell Park Caravan Park. Was a bit confused at first when we arrived as I wasn't sure if the Caravan Park was just adjacent to where we were staying, but I called Shane who answered immediately and was very helpful, directing us to go to the reception to check in. We were provided a printed out map of the entire site with directions on where the amenities were. Very quiet post 10pm as people were respectful of the no noise curfew so was able to get a good night's sleep. Would recommend if you need a place to stay near Halls Gap as that's where we were headed after and allowed us to break up the long drive.

It was a beautiful quiet space in a great location. The showers and toilets were fine and it was great to have available after hiking all day. There were a couple of other campers there but being so spread out we didn’t really notice them. It was relaxing sitting by the fire at night with visitors from the local wildlife throughout the night.
