Once written about by Henry David Thoreau in Walden. He called it one of the "emerald eyes of the world" . A magical place yet so close to Boston. Learn more about this land: You can enjoy glamping in our greenhouse-tent for peace and tranquility. There is a cabin built inside the tent.  It is under a canopy of trees with a cool pond breeze prevailing. The bed and linens are first rate for a very comfortable stay. There are shelves, potable water and a table within. It is heated in the cool temps and fan cooled in the warmer days.  There is a kayak and paddleboard available to borrow. There is a dryflush toilet, hand sink and outdoor heated shower in the back of the tent. Cooking is on charcoal grill and toaster oven. There are dishes, cups and utensils for your use. as well as coffee press and hot water boiler. The 40 acre pond is 65 feet deep. It is a kettle pond which is spring fed with no river inlets to pollute it.  Access is a little tricky with 100 yard hike from the parking area down a steep slope.  The pond is stocked with bass and trout for great fishing. The birds are amazing.  Henry David Thoreau wrote about White Pond in his book, Walden as the "emerald eyes of the world."  This is a place that magic happens.

We have a lovely site to camp right in the city. It is secluded and surrounded by nature. But still close to all the conveniences Worcester has to offer. We have a fun yard with an in-ground trampoline and zip line. The heated pool is available until late October. Pool is an added amenity and must be booked in advance. It is also listed on Swimply.

We are a bit of a holdover-and we take our stewardship role of this farming legacy quite seriously. Despite our glorious natural setting, we are actually very close to all the places people want to visit in RI-including Providence (15 minutes), Newport (30 minutes) beaches (15-40 depending on which one you chose) and a bunch of parks and hiking areas (15-45 minutes max). Quaint fall getaway! We had originally booked Georgie's Cottage but were moved to an interior suite. It was more than adequate in size for our two large dogs. Only disappoinment was no shower or refrigerator in the room. It was a bit dusty but nicely furnished with a double day bed and twin bed. Lots of nice plants in pots. Chai, pastries and tangerines for breakfast were nice.

We celebrated my birthday weekend here. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a laid back, peaceful weekend by a beautiful clear pond. Claudine and Henry were excellent hosts and gave us a tour so we knew where everything was. They were 100% accessible to us, but we still had our privacy. I enjoyed using the paddle board. We used to do more rustic camping for my birthday weekend but this was just the upgrade I needed for my beleaguered middle-aged body. The tent/cabin was very cozy and clean, with electricity so we could curl up to a movie at night with our laptop. A hot shower was much appreciated after a day of swimming. Very comfy bed. We used the rocket stove for most of our meals, which is great for cooking in a pan or open flame grilling with just a small amount of wood. Also used the charcoal grill. The toaster oven was perfect for roasting potatoes. I also just really enjoyed talking to them! Laid back, kind people and I would 100% visit again.

Claudine & Henry are very sweet & accommodating! Their property was amazing as it felt like being at a fancy hotel with nature's touch! Swimming multiple times in the pond and enjoying meals on the floating dock really made our trip! The electric kettle and toaster oven were also extremely useful especially during bad weather!

Jonathan is so kind and though they were away at the time, he says his family usually gets involved and plays with kids that stay. Everything was in like new condition including the gorgeous sauna. My husband, pup, and I really enjoyed our stay at White Pond! The spot is very peaceful but there are plenty of things to do- swim, take the barge out, fish, kayak, make a fire at night, etc. The hosts were also lovely and very helpful if we needed anything. If you're looking for a place to reset, this is it!
