The shared pool is such a special place and is solar heated all-year-round. If the outside temperature is below 25 or there hasn't been allot of sun, solar heating is usually not enough for a comfortable swim. We can use the electrical heating and the additional charge is $90 per day to guarantee a heated pool from 26-32 degrees. If this sounds like something you'd like, please book at least 7 days in advance as the heating will Be turned on 48 hours before your arrival.
WEDDING PARTIES, PHOTOGRAPHY, EXTRA VISITORS:
We enjoy hosting brides-to-be and love the photos that are taken, but there are some things to note;
• Use of our property for wedding photos or any photo shoots costs $250 for up to 2 hours
• There are a maximum of 10 additional visitors allowed including photographer, hair/makeup, videographer
• Guests names and vehicle license plates must be registered with Wilindi Estate owner via email
• There are 3 additional cars allowed on the property only
• Extra guests must ask permission to use the facilities including, but not limited to, pool, play equipment, barn
• Extra guests are not allowed to interact with the animals
• The booked guest is responsible for their additional guests and will be responsible for any damage caused.
• Extra rubbish generated (wrapping paper/boxes) must be removed from the property by the booked guest

Its a great alternative to the crowded beach front camp sights in the area. You are still walking distance to to beach. It was a bit windy, so be prepared for that. When we are back down in Victoria we will try to book in again.

Beautiful location, few minutes drive to beach, beautiful walk to beach though with a 2 yo was a bit far on our walk back, overall was quite, great space between camps, my dogs loved the green grass and enjoyed christmas trees on christmas morning. St leonards beach front 5 mins drive, portarlington beach front 5 mins also. Very beautiful spot close to everything.

Damian and Ali are superb hosts. Damian and Ali are courteous as you are welcomed when you arrive. They are also very respectful that you are left alone. The camping area is great. Damian makes sure the grassed areas are perfect. You are 500 meters walking distance from the beach. You can watch the amazing Pelicans or watch the Spirit of Tasmania zoom across the waters. The camping area is tranquil and there is a lot of different bird activity above. We normally go to remote outback but our two cavoodles are not a fan of doing that. We can honestly say that our dogs loved this type of camping. You are just a car ride from shops, cafes and pubs. I would highly recommend staying here. We stayed 4 nights and we could have stayed longer but we had to get home to family for Christmas.

Damiens’ Hipcamp stay was nothing short of magical! The location is great—peaceful, beautiful, and just a short distance from the beach, making it easy to enjoy ocean breezes and stunning sunsets. One of the highlights was definitely the miniature horses and goats—they are incredibly sweet and added such a unique, joyful touch to the experience.
The host truly made the stay exceptional. They were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect. From helpful local tips to thoughtful check-ins, their hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with coastal vibes, charming animals, and an amazing host, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!
