Aireys inlet is a unique tiny town with so much to do. The local beach is iconic for surfing and swimming, the local creek is a favourite at the inlet for young kids to swim or for canoeists to have somewhere quiet to paddle. Mountain biking is a must in the area, with thousands of tracks available right outside the back door. If you have your own horse you can bring it along on holiday with you, we have paddocks available and there are so many gorgeous tracks around to ride on and beach riding at low tide and the right times is a bucket list item! The location itself is 17 acres and is next to the Painkallac creek in a peaceful bush setting. This location used to be a horse riding school which is now not running but has been converted to offer camping, caravan and RV parking. It’s only 1.5 km from the beach and the Otway national park is right on your doorstep. If you have bikes, horses or love to hike or run, or just laze on the beach, it’s a perfect location, be ready to be spoilt as there are so many tracks on offer in our stunning local beach and bush land. The local town of aireys inlet has plenty to offer, a general store for all your essentials, loads of places to eat out for breakfast, lunch or dinner and only 1 3/4hrs from Melbourne. No need to stress if you don’t want to be near anyone else, this is a small setting so it’s very private and its only got one space to rent so that you have peace and quiet. If you do have friends and want to book a double space please just message me and I can open up another space for you. I also have an option to add a pottery class for you, the cost is $50 a person for a two hour session. Look forward to seeing you at our cosy country and coastal retreat.

The 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units and suites at BIG4 Anglesea are fully equipped to be like a home away from home – you just need to fling the door open. Think timeless design, crisp white interiors with a splash of modern art. Bingo. The safari tents are the glamping adventure you have to have – camping but glam! The kids are addicted to the cubby bunks and never even notice that there’s no TV – genius! Aircon, a BBQ and an outdoor bath on the deck (seriously) as well as a bathroom help with the logistics of life. Camping down on The Great Ocean Road? Well, where else would you rather be?! We have a few options here because size matters. It’s cosy down here so if your setup is too big, it can be a bit awkward. You just need to choose the options that suit you best.

Rancho Nirvana is a fantastic spot for a relaxing camping experience. Marc is a wonderful host and Murray the dog was a most welcome guest during our stay. Amenities are excellent/ as advertised. We didn’t use the pool but others took advantage during some very hot weather. Great location, close enough for coastal excursions etc. A great stay.

Marc is a great host and keeps his property in perfect appearance. His dog Murray is very friendly and the chickens and geese roam around freely and kept our children and grand children entertained. The swimming pool and trampoline was appreciated as well. We would definitely return.

Great location, close enough to cycle to local wineries. Easy access and level site. Nice facilities although we didn’t use them (kitchen, pool etc), great to sit by the campfire under the stars. Power, water and clean indoor WC. We stayed for 2 nights, Marc was friendly & helpful and Murray the Staffy was very sweet.

Sites are quite small and crammed in, meaning cars are parked in the road and manoeuvrability is a bit tight. Despite the plots being properly prepared (dug in, lined and covered in astroturf) not all of them were flat, so we moved onto another plot. Facilities were clean and showers hot. Access gate at the back of the plot to the brewery was useful!

Seahorse farm is a camper’s dream. Host Caroline has a heart of gold and made us feel at home. Surrounded by bush and a short drive to the beach, the location and surrounds is as good as it gets. Caroline’s gentle horses were great neighbours, an amazing experience camping alongside them. Already planning the next trip back!!!

Now Site 2 tucked away down the bottom of the property, plenty of room and privacy, close to the creek and overflow (very small) dam. Suited to those with 4x4 and just want piece and quite. Wel suited to familes, who like added privacy and extra shade.

The site is well-organised and features a lovely communal kitchen. The toilets are clean, and the location is excellent , it is just a short walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. The only downside is that it can get very windy at times. During our stay, the wind was strong enough to almost blow our tent away, and the slightly wet ground made it difficult for the pegs to hold securely. It’s something to keep in mind that bringing sandbags and heavy-duty metal pegs could help improve tent stability. If in caravan or camper van it’s no stress.
