"Window to the Wetlands" campsite is located on the outskirts of Kyabram, on 4 acres opposite the Kyabram Fauna Park Lakes.  

The site provides a great experience for nature enthusiasts and families alike. It is a unique experience for lots of reasons;

Natural birdlife experience:   Relax under the flight path and observe 100’s of Ibis, at dusk and dawn.  (Accompanied by flying foxes in the Summer/Spring).   Campers can access an elevated platform to sit and observe habitat views of various native waterbirds in the wetlands. 

Walking access (600m) to entry of Kyabram Fauna Park (Zoos Victoria).  Enabling multiple visits at differing times throughout the day.   

Lots of activities on your doorstop, as the campground is nestled between the Fauna Park Lakes, Grey Box Reserve and Ern Miles Reserve. Offering a unique opportunity to enjoy various walking trails, spotting 100's of native bird species.  The town walking/cycle path is at your front gate, so bring your bikes/scooters.  Or pack the clubs to enjoy a round at the picturesque 18-hole, Par 3 Parkland Golf Course.  

Starry Nights: Enjoy vast and unobstructed views of the magnificent night sky, whilst enjoying the simplicity of nature around the communal campfire.

We have 7 large, grassed campsites (22m x 15m) to accommodate all types of caravans. RV's , tents and camping vehicles.

The campground is secluded and secure, the campground entrance gates are closed at night-time.

Dogs are welcome, but must remain under control and on leash AT ALL TIMES, as hosts also have farm animals, in surrounding paddocks.   Hosts also have working dogs which are contained within host property.

Brooklyn ( Parking & Hill House)

Brooklyn is a 6 generation working farm. We have plenty of space for fully self-contained parking. We also offer glamping and a tiny house available occasionally  (view our other listings).

This is a very large area in an open paddock with good access for caravans and large vehicles. You may well be the only people here though there’s is room for 10 vans. There is a view of the Broken Creek which is close to the property & easily accessible by a short walk. 

We’re are a 10 minute drive to Waaia with an excellent pub and the small town of Nathalia which has a supermarket, hotels, fuel, post office, bakery, gift & clothing stores & other businesses.

Whilst there are other facilities on the property, this option is for guests who are self-contained only. Dogs on leash welcome. 

Campfires permitted in a supplied fire pit, some wood supplied, buy extra.

Zanker's Farm

We have a 440ac certified organic farm. We run a mixed farming operation, involving milking a small herd of cows, beef cows, approx 2,000 laying chickens, a few sheep, pigs & laying ducks. We also grow about 1 acre of garlic.

Our aim is to regenerate/improve the land through the careful management of animals and to be self-sufficient as much as we can. We are a family-run farm.

Good access for caravans and larger vehicles. There is a compost toilet for all guests to use. Campfires permitted in winter/when restrictions aren't in place (BYO own wood).

Our organic farm has been operating since 1988. We are 5 mins from the mighty Murray River. Our space is quiet, off main roads, though only 2 mins from the Murray Valley Highway, so easy to get to for you to enjoy your getaway  Camp , relax.

We grow an extensive range of products from almonds, honey, olives and vegetables. 

Good access for caravans and motorhomes  (easy off the road and to turn around). 

If not self sufficient,  we have extras you can booked.

Tooranie Stay Echuca Moama

**Please be aware that for the month of November and December we will not be allowing camp fires due to risk to the crop.  
   If no camp fire would be a disappointment (and we wouldn't blame you for being disappointed given the camp fire is the main activity!), you are best to book for outside this period.

Our 300-acre off-grid property backs onto the Barmah National Park. This forest, together with the adjoining Millewa forest, forms the largest River Red Gum forest in the world - it's majestic to explore. Our property is just 500 meters from the Murray River. From your camp, roughly a 1 kilometre walk through the forest. On our boundary is Backwater Creek, which fills with water when the Murray River is up. 

NOTE: Creek is often dry. It has water in it after environmental flows of the Murray. This can happen several times a year and the water lasts a few months. If you have any questions about water levels please ask before booking as it might be dry when you're here.

We're located just 5kms north-east of Moama, where you can hop aboard a paddle-steamer, visit waterside wineries and soak up rich riverboat heritage. 

We offer a few large, beautiful, basic bush camping sites (the best kind!) in amongst  50 acres of bushland, with 100's of meters and trees between you and other potential campers.

The rest of our property is used for cropping and sheep. 

Campers must  take out what you bring in.  

Mobile phone service and internet is usually reliable,  though with long weekends and summer school holidays the service seems to disappear! Completely.  We suggest downloading (before leaving home) your Spotify faves and Maps for this area then you can't go wrong.

Campsite with old man weed covering the ground. Smells amazing but can make you sneeze (in a satisfying way) if you sniff too close.

Sandalwoods by the lagoon

We truly are in the bush offering camping on the edge of a peaceful lagoon which allows you to see Australian natural beauty at it’s best. Kangaroos hop past and the birdlife is simply stunning. The Murray River is a walk away so bushwalking is as easy as putting your boots on. While we do not provide amenities we do provide a vista that is hard to find. Botanical rare flora and fauna are found on these Sandhills. We have ancient sandalwood trees, remnant Murray Pines, huge eucalyptus trees and myrtle bushes. This country is of The Wolithica clan of the Yorta Yorta nation and is steeped in cultural history. Scar trees, maddens and more. Echidna and wallabies, eagles and sand ridge birds abound.We ask that you leave only your footprints and to know that if you don’t bring it with you it’s not here.The towns of Echuca and Gunbower are not far away And provide culinary delights, paddle steamer rides and lots of activities for visitors. If you want you can just chillax and rewild your senses right here on the lagoon or you can go find adventure close by. Riverside wineries, gourmet food, hire a kayak, go boating or feel the history of the river on board a paddle steamer.

Ellesmere Park Farm Stay

Ellesmere Park Farm Stay was inspired by our trip following the stock routes of NSW by horse drawn vehicles. Many people commented they would love to do that, which gave us the idea of sharing our amazing journey with others.

Our camping area is a lot more comfortable than we endured with a well set up camp kitchen, green lawns and friendly animals all in one area. Our mascot, "Lucky lamb", is an attraction all of her own and who else can say "Kevin bacon" lives here!

We are located within easy driving distance of Greens lake and the Waranga basin for fishing, boating and swimming activities and only 15km from Rushworth and the historic Whroo township.

Campers are welcome to join us as we feed the animals.

There is only one toilet and one shower available, it is recommended that campers are self sufficient
