As well as camping, it is also available to rent for a variety of purposes; as the ultimate fishing retreat, for wedding, birthday and other significant life events, as a yoga, meditation and lifestyle retreat, or simply the ultimate holiday destination. *Some important notes before you book:
- Campers must have their own toilet and must remove all waste and rubbish. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed at all time.

There are two kayaks and two SUPs you are welcome to use. And there is a boat ramp just a few kms down the road to launch your boat.
The Bunkhouse is a beautifully built structure, with large windows and plenty of space. It's two storey, with the upper open-plan level accommodating 8 people in single bunk beds. A further two guests can sleep on the large sofa bed downstairs.

*Some important notes before you book:

Located an hours drive North West of Hobart near the quaint little town of Ouse (pronounced - ooze) and set on the pristine Derwent River. Like so many of the towns on the Derwent River, this region is very popular with bushwalkers, fishing enthusiasts, and mountain bike riders.
Overlooking the "pot-belly" of the Derwent River, This place is a fishing and kayaking heaven . Have a swim in summer, kayak or go for an adventure on your mountain bike. There are two kayaks and two SUPs you are welcome to use. And there is a boat ramp just a few kms down the road to launch your boat.
The Bunkhouse is a beautifully built structure, with large windows and plenty of space. It's two storey, with the upper open-plan level accommodating 8 people in single bunk beds. A further two guests can sleep on the large sofa bed downstairs.
The bunkhouse is fully self-contained with a kitchenette, toilet and shower.Clean sheets and blankets . Wi- Fi and streamed TV movie channels Please note - this is not the ritz! This is a very quiet and private camp ground. The way it is layed out it wouldnt matter if it was busy, you still have your own private space. Right on or near the mersey river with trout jumping, a platypus and an eagle flying above. We only live down the road but wouldnt hesitate to come again.

We found the road from sulphur creek (creamery rd) a lot better with a big van on, not as windy as stowport way.It is a bit misleading, not 200 acres more like 2 acres and the toilets haven't been cleaned in a hot minute either. No hot showers (could of been out of gas or something would of mentioned this to the care takers but never seen anyone for our 3 days).. very nice and secluded spot tho.
