It has the cold Mole Creek running through the middle of the property where you will spot platypus and trout. 43 km from cradle mountain and surrounded by other attractions like the caves, wildlife park, honey farm, alum cliffs, parsons falls, minow falls, devils gullet etc.

The property is only suitable for self contained campers as there are no facilities. There is a public dump point opposite the intersection of Bent St and Lyell HWY Queenstown. Sat TV is good and limited mobile reception. Telstra works best we've found. River access over a rocky, uneven embankment as it's a natural, untouched environment, just how we and the native animals like it. Campfires ONLY PERMITTED when fire restrictions aren't in place. You absolutely must make sure your campfire is fully extinguished before you leave. Please check "My Trips" (in your profile) for directions once confirmed. Look for the 'Rivers Edge' sign on the entrance gate, then you know youve got the right site and not the neigbours property (which is along side mine on the river) Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept with you at all times, no roaming dogs as the road is close by and we are a working hobby farm with animals. Perfect for trout fishing, platypus watching, bird watching or catching the sun setting through the trees on the river bend. There are even the endangered black fresh water crayfish. The site is large enough for up to 5-6 caravans for large bookings, and we only take one booking at a time, so its exclusively yours. We are only 20km to the nearest town, Ulverstone which as everything you need. The road is close by the campsite with easy access to find the property. No toilet facilities at the site. Sat TV is good and limited mobile reception. Telstra works best we've found. River access over a rocky, uneven embankment as it's a natural, untouched environment, just how we and the native animals like it. Campfires ONLY PERMITTED when fire restrictions aren't in place. You absolutely must make sure your campfire is fully extinguished before you leave. Please check "My Trips" (in your profile) for directions once confirmed. Look for the 'Rivers Edge' sign on the entrance gate, then you know youve got the right site and not the neigbours property (which is along side mine on the river) Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept with you at all times, no roaming dogs as the road is close by and we are a working hobby farm with animals. We love the peace and serenity here so please no unruly behaviour or parties.

Located on the wonderful Tasmanian Wilderness Rivers alongside the beautiful Blythe River and Adams Creek. This peaceful camp site is perfect for families and solo campers. Toilet and shower facilities are available. Campfires are permitted, but firewood is not supplied feel free to bring your own. This is a dog friendly campground but we ask that they are kept on a lead at all times. Burnie is around 20 kilometres away. Message will be sent through HipCamp for Arrival details.
