Tickera Seaview Camp Grounds are located 2kms north of the township in coastal scrubland overlooking the Beautiful Spencer Gulf. This scrubland is a part of our larger cropping property which has been in our family since the 1950s. As crop farmers we farm Wheat, Barley, Lentils and Oats. Each of the 3 camp grounds available, offer private unimpeded views over the Spencer Gulf shoreline. Tickera is the home of the Blue Swimmer Crab so bring your crab rakes and explore the shallows for your dinner. Tickera is located 2 hours north of Adelaide on the Northern Yorke Peninsula. Wallaroo is 20 min south of the camp grounds with beautiful drive on beaches. Port Broughton is. 30 min North, there are endless places to explore.

We are located just off the Horrocks Highway on the way to the Clare Valley amongst 42 acres of peppermint gum scrub sheltered by the ranges west of Tarlee. Here you will find lovely spread out camping spots with plenty of space to explore, quiet country roads for walking or riding with spectacular views of the ranges and valley as well as Kangaroos, Kookaburras and more native wildlife. Bush camping at its best. Firewood available to purchase on arrival, $25 for a large container and fire drums are provided. NO CHAINSAWS A beautiful peaceful spot with plenty of space for caravans, campers, tents and swags. We have a small flock of sheep to pat, children love to ride their push bikes down the hills and through the tracks. Our scrub is perfect for outdoor imagination and bundles of energy. Campers have made cubbies in the trees, tyre swings and set up hammocks for lazy afternoons or a swing. Pick a site that suits you best, set up camp, light a fire and sit back and relax. Nice rolling hills to camp on, there are few flat spots and some on a slight slope. Plenty of space. Nothing significantly pretty about the place, but still nice countryside views. Area was tidy and mowed. Good amount of firewood for $25

I had a great stay and thank you to Russell and Alison for being so positive in opening up their property to motorcycle camping. I found a great spot to pitch my tent and it was nice to sit back and enjoy the afternoon, as well as the colour changes with the setting sun.

Our host was lovely and welcoming and the campsite was perfect. A lovely outlook of trees and open farmland. Peaceful with only the sounds of sheep and birds for company. We’ll definitely be keeping this one on our list of stays in future.

Great spot to stay off grid with 6-7 individual sites on the property. Some sites are close enough together that you could stay with a group but still have your own space. Only one other caravan there when we stayed so we were very secluded and couldn’t see them directly from our site. Good size long drop toilet area with motion lighting for night use. Very clean. Hosts were friendly though we rarely saw them. $25 for a decent size container of firewood delivered to our site seemed pretty reasonable. It’s a natural area, so the sites have a small slope and you might need some extra caravan levellers pending your setup and site. Easy drive to Clare and Burra. Our dogs loved the property’s dam! Our favourite Hip Camp so far. 😊

Was an awesome camp spot not far from Wallaroo. Stayed on a clear sunny day so the sunset was unreal. The views from the site up on the hill over the bay and gulf were amazing. Recommend bringing some levelling boards especially if your in a rooftop tent but this is a minor inconvenience when you see the view from your tent in the morning

Amazing view. We arrived in an absolute storm. Rain going sideways. Russell & Alison were on hand to show us where to set up but given the weather we headed for a motel. The property is beautiful with a variety of great looking camp spots. We’ll be back :)

We loved camping at Clare Valley View. We camped up the top of the hill near the cattle yard. Most amazing sunsets! Close enough to Saddleworth and other towns, as well as Clare Valley wineries. Highly recommend this place

We took a group of friends here for their first camping experience. Lots of space, and the amenities (toilet, hot showers, communal kitchen) helped ease them in to the camping lifestyle. David and Michelle were such great and welcoming hosts and were very easy to communicate with. We definitely will come back and highly recommend this campsite
