We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail. The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, so dogs on leashes at all times, and please pick up after them. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy! There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh. There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet. Great Hotels/pubs to dine in at Tarlee and Riverton. Emporium cafe for the best coffee in Riverton Important Information to know before ALL GUESTS/VISITORS MUST BE BOOKED IN BEFORE ENTERING OUR PROPERTY!!! All campers must check in BEFORE 8pm. If you are unable to arrive before 8pm, please make a booking for the following day instead. Generators are allowed on the unpowered sites, please respect other campers with turning them off by 10 pm at the latest. No chainsaws on property. Loud music not permitted, please turn silent by 8.30PM Pets are allowed, as long as they are on leashes at all times STRICTLY NO MOTORBIKES RIDDEN ON PROPERTY No rally driving. If you have day visitors joining you during your stay, please go to the extras section and add the numbers to the booking, We also operate another Hipcamp called BURRA CREEK CAMPING situated 25km North of Robertstown, ideal for mostly 4WD and off road campers. Set on a hillside plateau adjacent a working fruit and nut orchard , the single campsite provides a small sheltered area with plenty of wildlife to let you know you are out of suburbia ( eg wedge tail eagles, rosellas , cockatoos , blue wrens and some resident kangaroos ... ( you may also see a koala . ( however drop bears are almost extinct here ) Secluded but connected ... Why travel more than you have to to escape and get back to basics? You can set up camp and be sipping a wine or hot beverage in the bush tranquility in less than an hour from most suburbs . The campsite is set on a hill with a view . It is not a parkland but offers a true taste of nature with native grass and vegetation . approx 15 mins from Magill and about 40 mins to the CBD / small caravans ok . Bushwalk on the property or Rock climb at nearby Morialta falls / hike Cleland / Mt Lofty or use the Grove as a base to expore the nearby Heysen trail , the many bakeries , eateries , wineries, breweries and distilleries nearby . Visit historic Marble Hill residence on open days, or enjoy many of the many events the Adelaide hills has on offer. ( Medieval fair / Adelaide rally / SALA / bay to Birdwood / Anzac / country fairs to name a few ) Enjoy pure Marble Hill spring Water ... Roast some chestnuts * over the campfire or gather some wild blackberries* , or mushrooms *. ( * in season ) . PLEASE NOTE We closed until March 2026 due to high fire danger. Feel free to book ahead. Seven Sisters is perched on the Skilly Hills, the western side of the Clare Valley. Overlooking the Blyth Plains above Kybunga, the views are nothing short of stunning. Nearly every evening brings fabulous sunsets. Ideal for family stays or just a quiet spot to chill out. Bush walking in the Spring Gully National Park is just down the road and within 2klms is the Armagh to Spring Gully trail. Our neighbours include the fabulous Eldridge Wines, one of Clare Valleys best. Close by are many more fabulous wineries and one of the best Gin Distillers (in our opinion) in the Mid North, Sawmill Gin. The local taxi service is very accommodating and happy to come out to Seven Sisters. I believe they will also ferry you to wineries in the area. Seven Sisters is a hilly grassland with wooded areas, creeks and rocky outcrops to explore. Anywhere within our boundary fence is there for you to explore. Our sites on the property are easily accessed. 2 sites on our farm road with a 4th site set at the back of the property which is very secluded. All sites have seasonal fire pits. Please don’t enter the fenced area around the house or go outside our boundary. Ideal for families or just a quiet stay.

4. The Little Hippie Hideout

A cute little pop top caravan suitable for 1 or 2 people and a perfect stop over as you head into Adelaide. The property is situated in the wonderful Adelaide Hills and offers the perfect location if you want to get away for a day or two and also be close to everything Adelaide CBD has to offer (approx 25 minutes to the city) and close to the Southern suburbs of Adelaide if you're catching up with friends and family.. Located behind the iconic Upper Sturt General Store you can come and go as you please. A fully cooked breakfast is included in the price for 1-2 people as you checkout at 10am on your last day. Simply come into the store when returning your keys and you will be rewarded with a yummy fully cooked brekky to send you on you way. The property offers an authentic bush setting with wattles and gums and the Belair National Park is right across the road which boasts walking trails, bbq facilities, wildlife and tennis courts. Enjoy a great hills view and a peaceful bush setting with the added benefit of being only 5-10 minutes to the Blackwood and Stirling shopping and cafe precincts. This was our first off grid stay in our brand new caravan - and we absolutely loved it. Beautiful property, and so relaxing. Trish was lovely, and very friendly, yet non-intrusive. (Nothing against Peter- but we did not meet him - sure he is equally lovely.) If we lived in the same state, we would definitely make this a regular stay. Thanks for letting us share your piece of paradise.

1 night at Edgehill Farm Stays Riverton

It's a large farm, off the beaten path, with a variety of different camping areas. Trish put us in an open field by a fire pit because there were high winds forecast overnight. You can hike up to a ridge with sunset views down to a broad valley. We were the only campers there that night and it was overcast and pitch black. There are sheep on the property and we had a herd visit our camp in the morning. It was easy to book online with quick confirmation and we drove there after having dinner in Clare. It was great for us and would recommend to anyone wanting something different away from the crowds.

We returned once again to an excellent camp-site surrounded by friendly sheep with lovely views of the hills, gum trees and open paddocks. We watched a pair of wedge-tailed eagles soaring along the nearby hills for hours. We were met by Trish upon arrival who was friendly and cheerful, as always.

What an absolute treat to experience Edgehill Farm. Trish goes over and above for guests - from a warm, personalised greeting at the gate on arrival, to chaperoning to your site alongside friendly banter, to giving you all the space and privacy you need to enjoy your stay, right through to firewood deliveries to your site and checking everything was ok before you leave. The location is just beautiful. Lovely to see the glow of other campsites dotted around the property at night - but never hearing or seeing another camper. Loved it so much, booked in 2 more stays whilst we were sitting around the campfire. Hoping to get to Sunset Baa next time! I can see why Edgehill has such a loyal cult following (a real credit to the hosts)… we now count ourselves members of the cult! Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us!

The Western most rise on Seven Sisters. Tucked down in the saddle of the hills with spectacular views. Walk down to the creek and dam, usually some wild ducks to be seen. This site can be a bit windy but generally not. You may get a visit from the sheep or kangaroos.
The sunsets are spectacular. ENJOY.

Edge hill farm was beautiful. 2 nights in a pop top camper didn’t seem long enough. Blessed with perfect weather and great sunsets, but my highlight was probably watching the full moon rise over the hills in a clear sky. Access was fine at “twin creeks” for a caravan and standard car. Very tranquil, and remote from other campers. I highly recommend a spring visit!!! Thanks Trish and Peter!
